Summary: I've never seen a better live DVD!
Review: This is by far the absolute best live footage of a band ever captured. I own a number of movies of bands' live performances (Metallica, Korn, Pink Floyd) but I've honestly seen nothing better. The stage show comes through perfectly almost as if you were there, and the sound! - the digital surround sound on this DVD presents the music absolutlely flawlessly! For any NIN fan or even any hard/industrial rock fan this is a must buy.

Summary: Almost as good as being there, almost...
Review: When I first began watching this great DVD from NIN, it helped me re-live the incredible night in Philadelphia during the Fragility tour. Though this DVD doesn't quite live up to that degree of intimacy, it comes pretty close. This is the way concert DVD's should be, between Metallica's "Cunning Stunts" and "S&M" DVD's, this is one of the best I've seen. The renditions of "Terrible Lie", "Sin", "Piggy", "Wish", "Closer", "Head Like a Hole", and "Hurt" are the highlights here, and with the superb sound quality it almost sounds every bit as rich and loud as if you were hearing it in person, almost. My only complaint of the DVD is the track listing itself; now I might be being nitpicky, but I would have loved to see and hear "Down in It", "A Warm Place", "The Fragile", "We're in This Together", and "Perfect Drug". All that aside, this is an excellent concert DVD, and consider this an essential item if your a Nine Inch Nails fan or even just a lover of concert DVD's.

Summary: Best DVD EVER Made!
Review: Wow! How can I put this into words? Trent Reznor is the greatest artist in the history of mankind, and he has created an awesome DVD of his Fragility tour to prove it.

I attended the Fragility 2.0 tour and was amazed by his live show. No recording can recreate such an experience, but this DVD is as close as anyone will ever get to doing just that.

Also, the Still CD is a necessary addition to this DVD. You can order it on his website. It is yet another amazing creation of Trent Reznor which will capture your imagination and emotions just as this DVD does so well. This DVD is not like his previous concert recordings - it is a masterpiece.

Summary: Phenominal
Review: I have been a NIN Fan since TDS. I saw them live twice. Back in '95 and the recent Fragility 2.0 Tour.

Flawless band.

Few Flaws on the DVD though. But they are personal feelings and do not detract from the overall DVD in any way

When they came down here, they played more stuff from the Fragile album- my favorite NIN album. Not only did Pinion last for 4 minutes, but they played the Pilgrimage, which, if you have not heard it from The Fragile, the mother of all badarse guitar riffs on the face of the earth. They also played the Fragile itself. I was stunned it wasnt on the DVD, I mean, it IS the FRAGILITY tour..but whatever. THey also played The Day The World Went Away. I know it is an easter egg, but, it is a [great] music video. I dont mind it, but I would have loved to relive the feeling of awe, seeing what I felt during that song-not a feather floating or Trent out in Middle-o-nowhere contemplating. Also, We're In This Together is not on here, and should be.

I don't mind the old stuff, but I guess you can't have the best things in life either.

I would give anything to hear them play some of my favorites that are absent.

Eraser
Ruiner
A Warm Place
Somewhat Damaged
Even Deeper
No, You Don't
The Way Out Is Through
Into The Void
Ripe (With Decay) ...

End of rant

The DVD, it nothing but superb quality. It lacks length, but nothing other than that. It recaptures almost every aspect of what would be felt at the concert. My absolute favorite instrumental of any band, The Mark Has Been Made, is on here. The physics of this song are mind numbing. I couldnt phathom trying to perform strings on bass(the opening strings section played is, from what I saw and understand, through Danny Lohner's Bass Guitar.)

The talent of these individuals is unsurpassable. No band, in my 2 decades of listening to rock, holds all the aspects of quality each member here demonstrates. Trent, ... is flawless in lyrics and instruments.
(let me interject something for you who may have not heard of what NIN is. Trent Reznor is not only the creator, but he knows how to play every instrument as well.)
Danny Lohner is my favorite Bassist. He does keyboards as well.
Robin Finck... I have never heard anyone play guitar like he can and does.
Charlie Clauser is just [great] on the keyboards.

Replay value is extremely high. It hits my DVD player a minimum of 3 times a month.

Nothing can match seeing them live though. Nothing can replace the feeling you get, the awe-inspiring tingle you get when you hear those violins, that high piched shrill on a banshee guitar, those drum snaps in Closer... this is as close as you can get though, for now...
Jerome Dillon is just as good as Chris Verenna, if not better, on the drums.

Summary: Bwha!
Review: Bwha! This DVD seriously rocked! When buying it I was worried on what the content would be but I was very impressed on the actual watching. The sound is amazing, as are the visuals. I actually found myself head-banging/moshing/whatever-you-wanna-call-it in front of a TV screen! The best musical show I've ever bought on DVD and I have quite a few, including KoRn!

Summary: potentially the crown jewel of your collection
Review: Buy the DTS version if you have the capabilities! It is better than the Dolby one. Unfortunately I ended up with both, because the DTS one wasn't released in Canada for a couple months after the Dolby one came out, but of well. There really is no advantage to owning the Dolby version. On the dolby version you can switch angles on 1 or 2 songs to see the stage from far off, however, this option exists on the DTS version, but you can't access it while the song is playing. Basically, everything is on the DTS version that is on the Dolby, but it's presented slightly differently.

The audio quality is where the difference is. You need a good system to hear the difference, but the difference is definately there. The separation on the DTS version is much better, and sounds are clearer. The low frequencies are also more defined, and this is essential for this sort of band. The crossover is also excellent.

As far as the content goes, this is the most amazing concert video I've ever seen. It's almost better than being there (and I have been there). No wonder it took trent a couple of years to edit and mix. Awesome

Summary: Halo-fan
Review: NIN fans be warned, this is a must-buy. The sounds and vocals on this DVD are brilliant. The only downfall I could find with adding this DVD to my NIN collection was that none of the film clips were on it. I was not at any of their shows but this DVD makes me wish I had of been.

Summary: Simply Unbelievable
Review: I've been a NIN fan since college, and although my tastes swayed some over the years, I finally jumped headfirst back into his music the last few years, just in time for the release of AATCHB. The day it was released I was ready and waiting, and wasn't the slightest bit disappointed.

I've never had the opportunity to make it to a NIN concert, but this video certainly gave me a very good idea what I could expect were I to attend one. Being that I'm getting up a bit in age, I figured this DVD would act as my eyes in a concert I'd likely never attend, however all this DVD did was whet my appetite and get my heart pumping.

There are a few instances where you may notice the visual and audio don't seem to mesh perfectly, but those times are few and far between. I should know by now not to be surprised by anything Trent does, but I truly was impressed with this video. I can't think of a way that it could have been made differently to make you feel any more like you were there in person.

I can't give the perspective of someone who's seen a show in person and on DVD, but if you put in this DVD, turn down the lights and crank up the volume, you simply can't be disappointed.

Summary: Unbelievable!!!
Review: This is the most amazing music DVD I've seen! I have a surround sound system, and I feel like I'm actually at the show every time I watch it. Leave it to Trent to get the best possible sound! Also, find the "Easter Egg!" It's definatley worth the hunt!
I strongly recommend this DVD to any NIN fan!
Fantastic!!!
