Rating: Summary: Not bad, but . . . . Review: Sound quality (5.1 surround) is excellent, but after a little while, the songs all began to sound the same. Good for one viewing.
Rating: Summary: Better than ATW Review: The Boys know how to do a good video, and this is a good transfer of their body of work. Unfortunately, that's it. There's nothing special about this DVD that takes advantage of the medium. No stills, no interview footage, no timeline, two web links (both official sites). There's also no excuse for the complete absence of "Drowning" from the disc (at least an audio track would have a nice touch if the video wasn't ready in time to be included). Well worth having if you're a fan, especially if you've got the other videos on tape, but it is only the minimum of what should be expected of a major DVD release.
Rating: Summary: What happened to "Drowning"? Review: The only thing bad about this DVD or video is before it was purchased, the desciption stated that their new hit "Drowning" was also included in this collection. It is not. This was also noted on other websites stating that "Drowning" was on the collection. Otherwise, this is a good collection.
Rating: Summary: An amazing journey through Backstreet History Review: The only thing that could have made this DVD better was if they had included the videos from their very first, European only, release. "Get Down", the original "I'll Never Break Your Heart"... but they make up for it. The "Everybody (Backstreets Back)" video is spectacular and slightly different than is typically shown on TV. All the best are here for an hour of viewing and listening pleasure. A must for all BSB fans!
Rating: Summary: BSB Rock! Review: This DVD is excellent! It gives you a chance to see just how much the boys have changed over the years from their early videos to their most recent. Only one thing prevents me from giving the DVD 5 stars, and that is that despite there being 16 songs on the CD, there are only 12 videos on the DVD. Very early songs such as 'We've Got It Goin' On' and 'Get Down (You're The One For Me)', are not on there and neither is the video for the latest single Drowning, despite what it says in the editorial review! (Did anybody actually review this or just read the back of the CD?!)Despite this however, my personal favourite videos of Everybody (Backstreets Back), The Call and Larger Than Life are on there meaning I can watch and drool over the boys whenever I want! All in all, a good DVD and one I definitely recommend to any BSB fan.
Rating: Summary: If you've ever loved a BSB music video this is the DVD Review: This DVD is GREAT for anybody who likes a BSB song. You get to see the whole music video(no clips) of their greatest hits! The quality is GREAT. The music videos are just wonderful to see on your tv - No more frustration trying to see it on the Internet.
Rating: Summary: Just what to expect... Review: this dvd is really good,it's a great source for all the videos, it could of been better if they put all the videos they have ever made including drowning and we've got it going on. DVD's are supposed to be filled with extra stuff and this is just the videos so if you want behind the scenes stuff this isn't for you,if you just want a video library of their popular songs this is the best. don't expect anything more than the videos though. I recommend buying it,if you love em get it!!!
Rating: Summary: Great Collection Review: This is a great collection of the Backstreet Boys' best videos, but it does not contain Drowning. I purchased it thinking it had that video on it. Amazon did have it listed in the description, but they have since changed it.
Rating: Summary: Great, but incomplete Review: This is a great dvd collection for any Backstreet Boy fan. The videos are: From the album BACKSTREET BOYS Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart) I'll Never Break Your Heart BACKSTREET BOYS [1998 version] From the album BACKSTREET'S BACK (but BACKSTREET BOYS in the U.S.) As Long As You Love Me Everybody (Backstreet's Back) All I Have To Give From MILLENIUM I Want It That Way Larger Than Life Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely The One From BLACK AND BLUE Shape Of My Heart The Call More Than That The majority of Backstreet Boys' videos are included here. However, there are a number which are missing. This compilation appears to lack five videos, which in my opinion, are some of their best. They are: 1. Drowning The others (which are all from the album BACKSTREET BOYS), are: 2. We've Got It Goin On - Their first video. They appear to be just 'hanging out', at a car wash, playing basketball, and dancing in a club etc. 3. Anywhere For You - In this video they're at the beach. 4. Get Down (You're the One For Me) - Here they are mainly dancing on a round stage with tv screens all around them. 5. I'll Never Break Your Heart - 1996 version. This was actually re-released; the old version had the boys at what appeared to be a ski resort. For those who want to see the majority of the Backstreet Boys videos, this is the DVD to buy. Although incomplete, the videos present are in good quality. Maybe these missing videos will be released in the future. This is only "Chapter One" of their video hits, after all.
Rating: Summary: a little bit of everything Review: this is a must have for backstreet fans! this video shows all of their video hits from "quit playing games" up to "more than that". it's a shame they don't have "drowning" on here, but that's okay. i'm telling you, as an owner of this video, you have to see it! dedications on the videos "the one" and "show me the meaning" are wonderful. personally, i am delighted that i bought this video.
