Rating: Summary: Great job! One of the best "making of the videos" to own!!! Review: I bought this DVD almost 3 weeks ago. It is GREAT! I love it. It is one of the best making of the videos. Rating: Summary: It sok... Review: I'm a big fan of Jessica, but not of this dvd.
The making of the video parts are okay, they're not long at all and really don't show you how they made it, it should be like Making the Video on mtv, and they do include the music videos for "Sweetest Sin", and "With You" on her In This Skin cd.
Rating: Summary: Sensual Romance - Imagine, Explore, & Feel Review: Jessica Simpson shines in a fascinating and fresh style as her videos in this selection combine feelings of love, fantasy, and dreams. The first video titled, "With You" captures the essense of true love as the words reflect how it feels to be with that special someone. There are various clips of Jessica doing laundry, eating tuna, scrubbing the floors, and just being herself. The Making of "With You" has Jessica explaining the production of the video. The director, Elliott Lester talks briefly describing the meaning behind each scene. Overall, Jessica talks about different moments in the production of the video and how they affected her. She talks about how the video reflects portions of who she really is. The first single of Jessica's 3rd album "In This Skin" titled "Sweetest Sin", has Nick Lachey and Jessica. The waterfall in the background intensifies each moment as you see Nick touching Jessica's hair, and more. There are all types of sensual clips as most woman or men would only dare fantasize about. Behind the scenes of "Sweetest Sin" you will see Jessica's dad, producers, and clips of how the video was shot. Jessica describes the making of it. Nate Tuck produced the video and talks briefly. Nick looks absolutely sexy wearing nothing but jeans. Jessica looks glowing, fresh, and "in love". It is apparent as the production of the video is explained that a lot of efforts were done to make it the best it could be. I loved it and find this to be a perfect 5 stars video.
Rating: Summary: 5 stars...again! Review: Okay, the first thing you should know is that the cover of this DVD has a yellow/gold area at the top and a smiling picture of Jessica that is close up on the lower 3/4th's of the front. That should help anyone trying to find this DVD in stores. I got mine at the mall for $7.99. I only hoped it had more on this disk than there was though. It has "With you" and "Sweetest Sin" and also the making of both of those videos as well. The whole thing is fantastic!
Rating: Summary: Love as Sweet As Sin, Experience It Review: This DVD has 4 numbers as each one has a different experience to offer. There is a menu in the beginning were you can choose what you prefer to view. Anyhow, this is what comes in it: 1. With You - The Video 2. The Making of "With You" 3. Sweetest Sin - The Video 4. The Making of "Sweetest Sin" The first video was refreshing, fun, and full of a nice spiritual positive experience as I watched it. I have to say Jessica looks great when she explains portions of how the video was made. You see her from eating tuna, to working out, and licking her fingers. The other video titled, Sweetest Sin is more of a passionate sensual one in which Nick Lachey [her husband] and her do a phenomenal mind blowing part. You see them embracing, touching, kissing, and just loving one another in the most romantic and "true love" type ways. I got chills when I saw this as I imagined what it would be like if I was with that special someone. As a Madonna and Britney Spears fan I can honestly say I am now a Jessica Simpson fan after this buy. It's really a buy worth the money. I did feel a bit bothered that there were only 4 numbers & only 2 videos so I gave it 4 stars. Other than that, you won't feel disappointed for your money.
Rating: Summary: cool DVD single! Review: This DVD is great. It comes with Jessica Simpson's videos "With you" and "Sweetest sin", besides its making offs. "Sweetest sin" is one of the sexiest videos of all times. Jessica is awsome in the waterfalls with her husband, Nick Lachey. She looks free and happy to express her feelings and sing about sex without any guilty. The making off is interesting, showing how the video was conceived and how cold the water was at the day of the shooting. "With you" is a catchy pop song which has become the symbol of MTV's "Newlyweds" show. It is a kind of summary of what happened in season 1, having Jessica e Nick's home as the set. On the video, Jessica eats "chicken of the sea", making fun of herself, and lies on a floor full of dirty clothes (remember the pilot episode?). The making off is cool, showing the interaction between the video director and Jessica, who was responsible for the video/single success. If you are a Jessica fan, buy this DVD right now. You won't regret!
Rating: Summary: Awful! Review: This has to be one of the worst songs ever produced and sang! Jessica's vocals are horrendous and the entire time she sounds like a squealing pig!! The video is even worse - it was obviously made for less than $1 and she makes out with her husband the entire time! I would think she could come up with something more original to show people than that! I advise you to throw this one in the trash along with her album!!
Rating: Summary: Great DVD.... Review: This is short but sweet. The first thing that you get is the video "With You", which is very fun to watch. Next is "The Making of 'With You'" which is pretty good. Jessica goes into a lot of detail about her video and why she decided on the concepts that she did. After that, you get the video for "Sweetest Sin" and the making of that. The video, itself, is very sexy and very nice to watch. The making is pretty cool. Nick and Jessica both give some commentary on the video (and the director) and tell about their ideas for the video. Overall, it's a great, short DVD.
