Rating: Summary: skimpy track selection, otherwise okay Review: I don't know what's up with Rhino. They released a handful of these "Essential Music Video" titles but each disc contains only five videos, total running time around 20 minutes. It's nice that the disc is priced (somewhat) accordingly, but it is just such a waste of physical resources (all that plastic) and space for the consumer. It would have made more sense for them to have at least put 10 videos (if not double that) on each disc and then charge twice as much.As to the videos on this particular disc itself, there are some good ones. I think that Bananaram's "Venus" nearly qualifies as a camp classic from the era. Simply Red's "Holding Back The Years" still shines. Even though I'm a big Howard Jones fan, I wish they would have chosen one of his other videos for inclusion here. Sound and picture quality is okay, but it's stereo only (no multichannel remix here).
Rating: Summary: So, so Review: The DVD contains 5 videos. I bought it last night at Wal-mart at the much better price. Is it worth the money? No. But you you have five bucks why not to buy this DVD instead of a Burger King Value Meal? Much less fat and calories...
