Rating: Summary: a good video that comes up short in a few areas Review: this is a good video that gives a good insight of the band and the making of the yield album. i personally was a little disappointed with it because i was expecting the video for do the evolution and some concert footage. it is worth buying if you are a fan of the group but it comes up a bit short in the end
Rating: Summary: This video kicks BUTT Review: First of all, Pearl Jam is the greatest band of all time. Secondly, if you love them, you'll love this video. All of the songs played in the video are off "Yield", another great album by PJ. This is a must have no matter how big a fan you are of PJ. Nothing else needs to be said.
Rating: Summary: It's Evolution Baby! Review: Pearl Jam's "Single Video Theory" is well worth the money. Finally, a chance for all PJ fans to see how the guys interact with each other in their own lives and in the studio. Not only do you get a better understanding of the members of the band, but also get to hear some great music at the same time. The video details the evolution of the band up to the making of the Yield album. Some of my personal favorite moments were the live cuts of Faithfull, In Hiding, and MFC. I only wish the video was longer. This is a must buy for all PJ fans.
Rating: Summary: PEARL JAM ARE ALIVE AGAIN!!! Review: I bought this video 'cause I ove Pearl Jam. I thought that this last CD was good, but as we know it had no comercial success. That was really bad. For those of you that think that this CD has nothing new, you gotta have this video. Stone shows his great style on the guitar, McReady is getting a little bit fat...but he plays guitar like no one! Ament keeps his cool style on the bass, Irons shows his tatoos and his fabulous style on the drums. Vedder, is always Eddie Vedder. With his great voice, style, and head shakes, he makes the band, the best band in the world. As Stone says, they needed a leader...they found the perfect one. The band is now back for good as they will start their 99 tour now (I think!). PEARL JAM FOREVER.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: Pearl Jam are the best band in the world and those who love them as much as me agrees, i'm sure. The "Single Video Theory" is great, no, more than great, is THE BEST, and the interviews, WOW, they're the greatest, all very cool, nice and especially talented. They play like no-one, the drums, esp. now with Matt, but Jack was also great, the guitars with Mike and Stone and the most beautiful voice, singing and speaking normally, Eddie Vedder.Who love's them as much as i do, please write to me. Tânia.
Rating: Summary: it's so great Review: First, Sorry my bad english! The Video is great, the band is great and it is a pity, that we in germany can't see them anywhere. Only in old videos and MTV unplugged from 1992.
Rating: Summary: FINALLY!!!!! Review: A "MUST" FOR ANY PEARL JAM FAN. THIS VIDEO GOES INSIDE THE MAKING OF YIELD AND SHOWS SO MANY SIDES OF THE BAND. ED, STONE, JEFF, MIKE AND JACK EXPLAIN THE "HOW'S" AND "WHY'S" OF THIS SEATTLE BASED BAND. WHAT DOES PEARL JAM MEAN TO LEAD SINGER ED VEDDER? ITS EVOLUTION, BABY!!!!
Rating: Summary: Another Pearl Jam Success! Review: Pearl Jam has never failed and that tradition continues with Single Video Theory. It is extremely in-depth and the direction by Mark Pellington is great. This is a must-have for any Peal Jam fan.
Rating: Summary: `N GREAT Review: I THINK THAT PEARL JAM HAS SHOWED THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST BAND AROUND THE WORLD. AND LIKE AN EXAMPLE WE CAN SEE THE VIDEO. It's a glimpse at their recording process for their latest record "Yield", as well as live studio recording of those songs, candid interviews with band members, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Jack Irons, Mike McCready and Ed Vedder.
