Rating: Summary: AWESOME DVD!! Review: This is such an awesome DVD! Even though not all the songs of the tour were included (the DVD didn't have Redemption, my favorite song) it really rocked. The sound quality isn't as good as their normal cd (hey, its live, what do you expect!). But beside all this, the DVD is awesome, one of the best I own! Very glad I bought it, no regrets!!!!! All my friends love it too. If your a Switchfoot fan it is a must have!!!!1
Rating: Summary: Great band with technical shortcomings Review: I have this DVD and I have seen Switchfoot live twice this year, once in a small setting and once in a stadium setting. I think the justified enthusiasm from the album The Beautiful Letdown has spilled over to this DVD, which is lacking in production quality and technical ability.
In concert they can kind of make up for shortcoming this by 'turning the volume up to eleven', but when I can control the volume at home, I find that they are a bit unpolished live.
I really don't think they are on par with, say, U2, in a live setting. People here are rating the album (5 stars) when they are reviewing the dvd (3 stars).
Rating: Summary: SWITCHFOOT CAN GIVE ONE GREAT LIVE SHOW Review: THIS DVD IS GREAT IT HAS THEIR SINGLES MEANT TO LIVE AND DARE YOU TO MOVE BUT IF YOU PREFER THEIR FIRST FEW CDS YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE THIS BECAUSE EVERY SONG BUT ONE IS ON THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN BUT IF YOU DO LIKE THEIR NEW STUFF THEN GET THIS BECAUSE THEY GIVE A GREAT SHOW. WHEN THE PERFORMED GONE THEY DEDICATED TO EVLIS AND HIS MOM. THERE IS ALSO SOME GREAT EXTRAS YOU GET THE VIDEO TO MEANT TO LIVE MAKING OF MEANT TO LIVE AND AN INTERVIEW OF THEIR PAST AND WHEN THEY WERE SURFERS.I HIGHLY RECCOMEND YOU TO BUY THIS DVD IF YOU ARE A SWITCHFOOT FAN.
