Rating: Summary: Great NKOTB DVD Review: After watching this DVD, one would think that BSB, NYSYNC, and OTOWN should pay the New Kids some of their royalties for cloning the NKOTB act over and over. This DVD captures some excellect live performances of the boys at their peak and all the video singles. The kids ruled the music charts from 88-90, and this DVD will make you nostaglic for when there was only one boyband, as opposed to the 6 "clones' that are out there now. Trivia - Jordan Knight and Joe Mcintyre both rode the 1998/99 pop wave, and had comeback hits that year. Knight opened for NYSNC that summer.
Rating: Summary: HOT HOT HOT Review: Brings back memories of the good ol' days... way back in the late 80's early 90s!
Rating: Summary: Great collection of videos by NKOTB. A must for their fans! Review: I already own the Hangin' Tough and Step by Step videos and decided to buy this DVD. It features some videos on it that are not available on the previous two releases, such as 'Tonight' 'Please don't go girl' 'Call it what you want' and one of my favourites 'If you go away' . The DVD version has the added bonus of three live performances. Well worth it if you still adore them as I do, or even if you want a trip down NKOTB memory lane.Word of Warning: I have a DVD player that plays both PAL and NTSC [regions 1 and 2] DVD's which is how the US DVD worked on my English player.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic DVD from a fantastic group! Review: I just love New Kids On The Block and this DVD is pretty awesome. Included in this DVD are live performances of "Step By Step", "No More Games", "Tonight", and other great performances by NKOTB. This DVD also includes all of their other hit songs like "Hangin' Tough", "You Got It (The Right Stuff)", and "Cover Girl". NKOTB do an awesome job performing live on stage...the dance moves are wicked awesome. The singing is great. The concert clips are spectacular. I'm still sorry that NKOTB are over now, but that just gives us more room for newer awesome Boy Bands like Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, and O-Town. If you are a true fan of New Kids On The Block, then you must own this DVD. Oh yeah...and today I just saw the E! True Hollywood Story on New Kids On The Block and that was pretty cool, too. I'm glad they are all on their own with solo careers, and wish them all the best of luck.
Rating: Summary: The New Kids still rule Review: I loved the concert portions of this DVD;the highlight of the whole DVD is Jordan singing "Baby I Believe In You" in a high wind with his shirt blowing off him.
Rating: Summary: I love NKOTB they rocked. Review: I think they were a great band. I also think they should of stayed together making great harmonies.
Rating: Summary: Oooh Baby! Review: I thought the video was great. I was walking through a store and suprised to see it, but am so glad I did. They guys look great and it was neat to see the old videos. It brings back so many memories.
Rating: Summary: greatest hits Review: I'm an original Blockhead, so this was a lot of fun for me. After seeing the recent E! True Hollywood Story on the Kids, it made me nostalgic for the good 'ol days, so I picked this up. My money could not have been better spent. Several of my favorite videos are included here, as well as some I hadn't seen before. A special bonus is the DVD-only live tracks, which really brought back memories of the "Magic Summer" concert I attended. I just wish some of their later songs off the "Face the Music" CD had been considered 'hits' so they might have been included. Whether you're a newly initiated fan or even just curious, you should really check this out. If you're a fan from way back (such as I), this is a must-have. Even if you don't like the Kids and think them rather cheesy (I know there are a lot of you out there), it might be worth your time to check out Jordan Knight and Joey Mac's solo CDs. Trust me, they've grown up, and they have a different sound than you might expect. Keep an open mind, and you might be surprised. [Gotta spread the New Kids love.... ;-) ]
