Rating: Summary: The Reverend Comes to DVD...'Bout Damn Time!!! Review: Both of Marilyn Manson's previous video releases "Dead to the World" and "God Is In the TV" were outstanding, I have been waiting forever for this to come out on DVD. I saw one of the first shows on this tour in Houston back in Nov 2000, and as always Mr. Manson did not disappoint me. You can probably expect strange imagery, an original loading menu, and awesome special features with this one. "If you die when there's no one watching, and your ratings drop and you're forgotten, if they kill you on their TV, you're a martyr and a Lamb of God."

Rating: Summary: Can't wait Review: I was at this show at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Downtown L.A. and it was awesome, I also saw manson on the GGG tour at the Universal Ampitheater earlier that year in January, I personally thought the Universal Ampitheater show was much better, but this was still great...Look for a guy wear a shirt with a cross and an S P on it, thats me...
Rating: Summary: I haven't seen this either... Review: But I can't wait for it. It's been said that there's a lot of backstage stuff and all their music videos too. I'm sure the actual concert itself is great...
Rating: Summary: Looking Forward.... Review: This DVD is a Must Buy for any Marilyn Manson fan. Although I have not yet seen this DVD, I was at the concert in Los Angeles when this was filmed. I saw a total of 3 shows on the God, Guns and Government tour and this one was by far the best. He really went all out for this one. He entered the stage on a chariot and had enough pyrotechnics to cinge the eyebrows of those in the last row. Enjoy!!!
Rating: Summary: MARILYN MANSON TOUR Review: THIS IS A LIVE RECORDING OF AN ENTIRE MARILYN MANSON CONCERT.....I HAVE SEEN 3 OF HIS LIVE SHOWS, AND GUNS GOD AND GOVERNMENT IS BY FAR THE BEST YET......GET READY TO TURN THIS ONE UP LOUD!!!
Rating: Summary: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS Review: How can I begin to say how bad this is. What is shown is not a concert at all. What is shown is live audio edited in with thousands of different video shots from different cities. I can understand having one song shown from say New York and the next from Japan. But not one song shown from 10 different cities. I actually emailed the company and told them how bad their product was. Look on ebay for bootleg editions that would be a way better product. Damn I feel like I was jipped. DO NOT BUY THIS, DO NOT BUY THIS, DO NOT BUY THIS DO NOT BUY THIS.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Shows Review: Marilyn Manson Live is a sight to behold. His vocal range is intense and the band makes the songs that you love so much even more enjoyable. Examples would be the end to Beautiful People or Sweet Dreams with the Hell Outro, it's just insane! The only complaint that most people have is that it was filmed in multiple countries, the angle changes can get annoying. I think the best example of that is the Irresponsible Hate Anthem. It hurt my eyes the first time I watched that song, but most of the people who complain about it must understand this, I've been to a Manson show, and when they played it, the strobe lights went crazy, and here they try to replicate that, but it doesn't work quite as well. The combination of strobe lights mixed with angle changes with every change in the song isn't necessarily the best thing. Another complaint would be that because of the changes his clothes constantly change over and over again. In one shot he has this helmet on and another he has a dress on or he has paint on him or in somewhat normal Goth clothes, I could go on forever. But this DVD is so good, that I could care less about those things.
Every song is played with amazing quality and sometimes better then the studio versions. The props Manson brings out make it all the more interesting and never get you bored. The audiences for these shows are absolutely HUGE by the way. One of my favorite moments is during the love song Manson comes out wearing a pope outfit or something and John 5 plays a double guitar. As with the song list, its great, its only missing Angel with the Scabbed wings and more songs from the portrait era, as they only play Lunchbox, I would love to see Dope Hat, but you can't have everything I suppose. The death parade documentary was entertaining, disgusting an hilarious, but I felt it was too short or still missing some things. but once again you can't have everything, that's why they make B-Sides. All in all this is definitely worth the money and definitely worth your time. If you haven't seen Manson live before this will convince you to.
On an additional note, Amazon.com has misspelled government, look on the box itself and you will see it is spelled correctly.
Rating: Summary: - Review: Great show, great songs. What is REALLY annoying is a combination of a few shows. What I wanted to see was one performance. Lets hope that Against All Gods would be released and it would be taken from one concert.
Rating: Summary: Guns, God, Government World Tour Review: First off, this is an excellent DVD. The music sounds great but only comes alive when played on a surround sound system or in your portable DVD player with earphones hooked up and the volume on maximum. Plus, the footage is very artistic in my opinion and I enjoyed seeing all the various concert footage from all over the world. I can't speak for everyone else but I can tell you what I think and leave it to you to decide whether you wanna buy it or not. It's worth a look, but make sure your DVD player is hooked up to a good surround sound stereo system.
The whole effect will make you feel like you're actually there at the concert if you turn up the volume and start head banging.
Marilyn Manson is my all-time favorite band, period. This DVD also contains an extra feature called "The Death Parade", which features 30 minutes of explicit & outrageous material, including: backstage footage of Manson following an incident in which he seriously tore a bloody hole on his knee, plus you get to see graphic footage of the deep wound being stitched up; Manson setting a hallway on fire; Clips of Manson & Eminem performing "The Way I Am"; Manson giving speeches, including one about a young girl who committed suicide & Marilyn Manson dedicates a song for her. There's also a hilarious clip of Manson calling a fan on stage after being hit with a water bottle by the stupid fan. Manson challanges the fan in a water bottle throwing showdown.
