Rating: Summary: At first I wasn't too sure...... Review: but it has grown to be one of my most favorite concert DVD's. Disc 2 is just freeking outstanding! I saw Ted back in the early 80's and he was OK but this show is much better than OK. His playing is better than ever as is his sense of showmanship. Great rhythym section he has, and great picture and sound on the DVDs. Some funny stuff at the end of the show. No downsides. BUY THIS DVD AND CRANK IT UP!!!!!!!!

Rating: Summary: A Great Show Review: Folks may disagree (perhaps rightly) with Ted's political views, but that debate belongs in another venue. As this DVD amply demonstrates, Ted is a highly capable guitar slinger and, what's more, he's one of the few guitar players since the peerless Jimi Hendrix to make feedback an integral part of his playing.Highly entertaining, and highly recommended, as is his Double Live Gonzo CD set.
Rating: Summary: No Tommy Aldridge Drumming Review: I am a huge Fan of Tommy Aldridge (former OZZY & Whitesnake) and his drumming on the "Full Bluntal.." CD. Having seen Ted opening for KISS I was blown away by the power Trio of Ted, Marco, and Tommy (Aldridge). Ted's songs where always Good but with this lineup playing up to his intensity, they where great. Compare the "Full Bluntal..." CD to any other Ted CD and they pale in pure rock energy. Unfortunatly the DVD bearing the same title does not have "Tommy Aldridge" but "Tommy Clufetos". The magic is gone and its just another back up band playing behind Ted Nugent not with him. Should have filmed DVD when they recorded the CD. Or not used same title for DVD. Saddly Disapointed to not see one of the greatest rock drummers ever, the one, only and irreplaceable, Tommy Aldridge.

Rating: Summary: Tribute to Derek St. Holmes Review: I was disappointed that this DVD didn't show more performances featuring the soulful lead vocal of Derek St. Holmes. Ted Nugent is a world-class guitarist who should be playing with a world-class lead vocalist. Instead, Nugent has chosen to perform the entire show as lead vocalist rather than share the stage with one of the most talented vocalists on the planet. If Derek St. Holmes could sing at least half of the songs at every concert, it would make for a much better show. St. Holmes is one of rock's great, unsung heroes (no pun intended) who deserves to be recognized by the world of rock as one of the all-time greats rather than being unceremoniously thrown out of the band by "alpha dog" Ted. Maybe this explains why Nugent hasn't had a hit since the seventies.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding..... Review: If it were possible to rate this DVD with a sixth star, I would do so. I received this release from "Amazon.com" just a few weeks ago and it has rarely left my DVD player...much better than expected.....or hoped for. Ted kicks so much ...watching this you realize just how phenomenal a guitarist he really is. Notice how with his picking hand he must mute his strings most of the time to keep his guitar from feeding back! This is due to his instrument being so hot. A true master at work! The hired guns that Ted has hooked up with are tremendous as well. Both drummer and bassplayer are monsters! My recommendtion is to buy this DVD immediately, put it into your machine and LEAN on the volumn knob. You won't regret the few paltry dollars spent! DO IT NOW!!!
Rating: Summary: Unfortunate politics of the biz....... Review: If Ted Nugent waved the flag for abortion, animal rights and other liberal causes, I'm sure Sam Graham would have refrained from describing Nugent's music as "tuneless rock songs" and "screeching vocals". But opinions are like (you know what...), and we all have one. Bias aside, Ted Nugent is one of the finest electric guitarists to ever live, and this DVD is ample proof. As for the "bells and whistles?" This DVD invites a look into the world of club Ted, rather we like it or not. The Nuge didn't make his career what it was by standing in place, politely plucking his Byrdland and announcing the next song with false enthusiasm. His bombast on and off stage carry over very well to this disc, and everything from the blues-drench wedding to the radio show provide a satisfying portrayal of the guitarist, activist, outdoorsman and all around American.
Rating: Summary: Motor City Madman Kills Again! Review: ted is playing better than ever...with a stripped down 3 piece band, he is rocking at his very best, with better than ever riffing, licks, leads, and TONE! Nuge fan's get this one!
