Summary: Dire!
Review: 'Jon Bon' must have caved into the accountants or something on this very, very, ordinary offering. The accountants said' 'lets do all your old songs with a bunch of acoustic guitars and see if we can sell it to all those Bon Jovi fans (read suckers) and make a bunch of money.'
Did they actually watch this after they filmed it?
The band looks like they are about to fall asleep near the end and I nearly did too!
Come on Jon, if you want to do an acoustic album, do it, but with some new material. These songs just don't work in an acoustic setting...why didn't you plug-in?
Dire, dire, dire.....

Summary: Not the Bon Jovi I remember
Review: As someone who thought the CD was horrible, yet had seen them do a one hour accoustic set last summer in Minneapolis that was fantastic, I approached this DVD with some trepidation. I ended up enjoying it very much! Most of the songs hold up very well to these reinterpretations, and I think the ballads are much better because they are not so over-the-top. Its a little weird to hear toned-down versions of their anthem-rock hits, but from a purely musical perspective, they did a very good job. Doesn't hurt to have the guys from Southside Johnny helping them out!

Overall, if you are expecting the usual Bon Jovi, you will be sorely disappointed. But if you are open to a different style, its very good. They would never have achieved the level of fame they have with this, but its fun.

Summary: Bon Jovi at thier finest.
Review: Bought this DVD the day it came out, but just writing a review cause I saw so many negative comments.

Great DVD - I was at the Friday night taping @ The Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ and can tell you that watching this brings back more memories then I thought possible. This was the last show of 12 concerts I have seen him at, and obviously the most intimate. I think there were only 3000 seats each night.

Anyhow, if you liked the "This Left Feels Right" album, this is a must have.

Summary: Amazing...

Summary: Awesome DVD
Review: Great intimate, acoustic performance of the songs their latest CD, including some songs not on the album. Also includes two great new songs, Last Man Standing and Thief of Hearts, and a excellent cover of Dr. Hook's "Sylvia's Mother. Whether Bon Jovi is rockin' out electrically or crooning acoustically, always a show to see.

Summary: with a twist,and how!
Review: I believe, in the beginning it is neccessary to mention that yes,I am a Bon Jovi fan,and have been one for about 15 years now...
Thus ive enjoyed all the band's incarnations, from red pixie boots to the new jersey era, both huge arena gigs and intimate settings etc .
The DVD is amazing...the sound and picture are crystal clear, and with surround sound, the experience is even better..
I must disagree with some of my predecesors..Jon's voice is amazing..it soars, yet draws you in with its intimacy...not surprising that during its my life, many people in the audience are sobbing...from a simple, cheery rock tune,he has turned it into a bittersweet manifesto.
I also feel the need to mention that yes,Jon's voice is distorted on wanted dead or alive...but he actually is using some kind of filter[??],to make it that way and of course, during the chorus, kicks in like the Jon many are used to and who dont wish to accept the changes.
To sum up...the guys are oozing charisma as always..and due to the accoustic nature of the show,we see Jon as a guy who has not only amazing stage presence but an amazing voice..not muffled by crazy guitar solos and fireworks etc etc.
The dvd offers up a ton of cool additional features, and playing poker with the guys?Doesnt get better.

Summary: Ballads?!
Review: I don't know about you, but to me Bon Jovi's always been a guy that puts a lot of energy into his songs, to the point of forcing you to sing along until you're breathless. If you've enjoyed doing that as much as I have, and love Bon Jovi for being one of the few artists to achieve this successfully, you will be almost disgusted by some of these songs - sure the ladies will go all swooney. OK, maybe that's a bit harsh. I'll be the first to acknowledge that I'm not the Die Hard Fan most of you are, who owns 10 Bon Jovi CD's and calls them "My Favorite", but hear me out.
I've always thought it would have been a, well, breathless, experience to witness "Bad Medicine" live, but take that singing-yourself-breathless out of it and what have you got left? Something that, in my mind, should be left to other artists. The ballads never were my favorite, but if they were yours you should prabably ignore this review, and you'll LOVE this DVD (read up on the other reviews that deals with this). I haven't watched the bonus disc yet (there's some stuff that true fans will love), and this surely isn't all there is to say for the DVD, but to me personally it's the most sapient characteristic.
