Rating: Summary: A little Too Raw, But Worth Your Money Review: The concert is excellent, the sound is superb. The extras are a little frustating.Maiden deserves a better production than this DVD ended up having, but still is one of the best Live DVDs around. thumbs up!

Rating: Summary: A Great Concert Vid, from a class act!! Review: What can I say but, this is a brilliant live concert DVD from one of the world's greatest bands! The song lineup is fabulous, the sound & picture quality really good and the band rocks! Unlike other reviewers I have seen here, I DID NOT have a problem with the film editing- it was fast, but not annoying and simply kept things going at a good steady pace. I recommend this DVD to all lovers of real metal- Up The Irons!!
Rating: Summary: UP THE IRONS - MAIDEN AT ITS BEST! Review: First things first: Steve needs to stick to playing bass and leave film editing to someone a little less spastic! Guitarcam? C'mon - and the wicked howl from Bruce during Wrathchild missed the edit cut save for a 1/100 billionth of a second. That being said, Iron Maiden prove once again that they still carry the battle standard of heavy metal excellence. Age? Changing music scene? Rap? None of it has stopped these guys - they still have the same energy as they did when I saw them a million years ago during the Piece of Mind (w/Twisted Sister) tour. And another thing, when these guys do a tour, THEY DO A TOUR! Tons of dates - not the "selected city" tour that lesser acts do playing to their demographic only. I can't wait for their upcoming new studio album! UP THE IRONS!!
Rating: Summary: maidenesque Review: I love Iron Maiden and this DVD is excellent. The editing stinks, but I can never get enough Maiden Live. I own practically every Maiden tour on video or DVD. I must say that the most recent shows by Maiden, the vocals aren't loud enough and they play the songs faster than they used to. Aerosmith said they listened to their own shows and found that they were playing their songs faster and faster. They corrected it on Little South of Sanity. Maiden should do the same and let a professional edit their concerts. Iron Maiden is the best song writing band ever and best live act ever. I hope they don't quit, because Metal is back! UP THE IRONS! UP THE HAMMERS!
Rating: Summary: Best Live DVD ever! Review: Very good sound, very good DVD! There's nothing more to add...
Rating: Summary: BLinding fast edition makes this DVD unwatchable! Review: The sound is great and the image also is. But watching this DVD back-to-back may be a real pain in the a...You simply are not allowed to focus your eyes more than one second in each scene. It seems it was made on purpose, maybe to compete with the horrible Chritina Aguillera videos... I sold my copy of this one, even loving Iron Maiden. This DVD is unwatchable.
Rating: Summary: Crazy edition - stick to music, Steve! Review: Man, I was going nuts watching this DVD. I bought it full of hope, I love Maiden, I knew Rock Rio had an attendance of 250000 people, I knew Bruce was in top form, and all of the band. From the moment the show begins, we see this is truth. Their energy is blistering, their perfomance is fantastic, Bruce is singing like never. But the edition..... My God, what was Steve Harris thinking???!! He destroyed the whole DVD, trying to put takes from all the cameras into every single minute of the songs! It's simply annoying! We all know Iron Maiden is your babe, Steve. So, as his Dad, you should look after it more properly and give the edition job to someone who knows how to do it...
Rating: Summary: The best live Iron Maiden recording ever Review: If you like Iron Maiden, this about as good as it gets! The performances are great, the instruments are huge and energetic without losing clarity, and Bruce's singing is dead on the whole night. You can just see and feel how excited they are to be playing this show. This surely redeems the last 3 live albums they've done, which were recorded near the end of Bruce's first run with the band, and to ME sounded a little garbled and hasty. There's just some magic to the way some recordings come together, and this is one has it! This leaves all 4 of their live albums I've heard in the dust, (yes...even Live After Death!) I say this is the one to get.
Rating: Summary: Stellar! Review: Anybody else reading these reviews think that these folks are just a little too picky? I mean my gosh, what's not to like? You get Maiden playing in front of 250,000 people! It sounds MASSIVE in DTS, it looks incredibly clear & sharp & it's got a great setlist. I too was impressed with Bruce's versions of "Sign Of The Cross" & "The Clansman"; they sound SO much better with him singing! Now if we could get them to re-record "Man On The Edge" & "Lord Of The Flies". Seems a lot of people on here are trying to review this without the benefit of surround sound which to me would seem to be impossible because you can't possibly experience this without it! It's LOUD; almost as loud as being there I would think. Personally, I wouldn't put too much faith in the negative aspects shown in other reviews. It's awesome & don't let anyone tell you otherwise! One of the best I own! The Wolf
