Rating: Summary: Epileptics beware! Review: First the good: simply put, Iron Maiden prove with this concert that they are the best metal band in the world. It is crystal clear that all six members are giving it their all. Bruce seems particularly enthused, as does the audience, which makes the viewer almost feel like he/she is actually at a Maiden concert.
Now the bad: Steve Harris got a bit carried away with the editing. There are WAAAAYYYY too many camera changes and many of them occur at the most inopportune of moments. Example: if Adrian is soloing, keep the camera on him. If Nicko comes down with a killer cymbal crash, let the viewer see it for crying out loud!
On another note, "Sanctuary" does not belong on Maiden's setlist. 'What, no Aces High?' was the first thing I thought to myself after hearing the entire Rock in Rio concert on the 2-disc live album (which has EXCELLENT sound quality).
