Summary: Well Produced
Review: This DVD was definitely worth the wait. I was very well filmed and the sound is excellent, although I haven't heard it yet on a good sound system. I can take or leave the "fans rule" section. It was funny for about 5 minutes, but after that, all the idiotic comments from the weirdos just got kind of annoying. It also takes away from the flow of the concert when they insert clips of this nonsense in between songs during the concert part of the disc. They should have given them a little less camera time and Paul Bostaph a little more. True, he's no Dave Lombardo, but the man's been playing his @$$ off for ten years with the band now, so they could have at least given him a chance to say something. You never see him or hear him outside of the actual concert footage. That's my only complaint about the disc though. I guess instead of whining I can always just fast forward or skip over the parts I don't like. If only we could do that with all of the things in life we don't like.

Review: This Dvd Kicks ASS. Slayer Rules! SLAYER F'ing RULES!!!!!.
The only thing i didnt like about this dvd is that after every 2 songs they would cut to a 2 min clip of fans talking about how cool slayer is. They should have kept that part in the fans rule section of the DVD. And also the "Bloodline" Video is Sweet.

Summary: Damn Right Slayer (Minus the 80s guys)
Review: This captures the best of slayer live (The best of may be different to people) but it is a good live slayer DVD non the less. The only draw back is the interview with the stupid people trapped in the 80s still. A few arnt trapped but are high on crack or something.
None the less, this is Slayer. If your into Slayer, or maybe like a few albums, Id pick this up. Even if your not a fan of everything, this may change your mind.

Summary: Great Concert, Not too Good Extras
Review: This concert isn't too different from the one on Live Intrustion, of course they're playing different songs, they're older, etc. I thought their playing was great, though Paul's drums did get a little off beat at times, but who cares? It's Slayer.

Ok, on to the extras. Bloodline video was great, even though I have already seen it, it's still good. Picture Galliers, good. Only thing I didn't like too much was "Fans Rule." I agree with cooljames on this one, I too felt like the smartest Slayer fan out there after watching it. The first time I watched it I had to just stop it because it was getting rather annoying. Especially the idiot with messed up teeth and his companion that cussed every 5 words.

Because this is Slayer, and it is their first DVD. I rate this is a 5/5.

Summary: Old school fans won't get their money's worth
Review: This is a "new Slayer" heavy selection of tracks, but it's still nice to have a great sounding show on DVD. The extras are barely watchable. The Bloodline video is kind of typical, and the Fans Rule really makes you wonder why you feel like the smartest guy at the shows (because you are - by leaps and bounds). It features burnout after burnout talking about how great Slayer is (which they are), but after hearing from the suicidal guy with a thumb for a head and the guy whose reason for liking Slayer is that they make him feel like - (he thrashes his head around like he's in the back seat of a dune buggy), I think I'll just watch Reign in Blood over and over.

Remember when Jerry Garcia died and everyone who followed the Dead around for years suddenly had nothing to do? What will Slayer fans do when they stop playing live shows? They can't keep this up forever, I'm going to miss them horribly.

Summary: All I have to say is one word...Slayer
Review: I've waited since February 11th 2003 to get this damn thing. When I finally got it in June...needless to say I wasn't disappointed. The concert is predictable; they always play the same damn songs for some reason but it was still played well. The Post Mortem, R.I.B., Hell Awaits combo was just plain awesome and Here Comes the Pain live is just earth-shattering. They all played well, except for the usuals: Tom's voice and Paul's drumming. Paul's a great drummer, but he is absolutely no match against Dave (find the Hultsfred 2002 concerts).

It doesn't have a whole lot of extras. The Bloodline video I've seen before; it's not the greatest song but the blood is still cool. The Fans Rule thing was hilarious. I never knew how f*ckin stupid some of these so called "Slayer fans" are. I can't relate to these people one bit. The lack of Slayer fans who can actually type, read, write and speak clearly really goes against my reputation as a dedicated Slayer fan, and of Slayer themselves.

The one thing I just can't get off my nerve is the drum break in Angel of Death; Paul skipped a bunch of beats, he just can't take it. That just really annoys me. Tom's really gotta concentrate on his voice too. I'll give him credit cause he's over 40 and playing bass, but he could do better.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty good concert. Although with Dave back for the time being, I'd rather see a DVD with a bunch of rarely-played gems such as Praise of Death, Kill Again, Live Undead, Circle of Beliefs, and of course the many other great songs. It's not like Slayer has any "hits" or anything, there's no need for Mandatory Suicide and Stain of Mind. I'll just wait for the delux box set to hear Dave live.

Summary: Reaffirms the faith
Review: Slayer are back!! After two less-than-impressive offerings, this is just what the doctor ordered.

Everybody knows that Slayer can hack it both on and off stage. Similarly, everyone knows that Slayer possesses one of the strongest back catalogues of songs anywhere, and could probably have played for about four hours without having to play a single weak tune. And, finally, everybody knows that Tom Araya is not only the best vocalist in thrash, but also the best frontman. All of this is, of course, true. Slayer could not have gotten it wrong even if they had tried really, really hard. And, of course, they are not that kind of people. Instead, they try very, very hard to get it right, and the result is an unqualified triumph.

Having said that, I have a few quibbles. Why are they still playing comparatively weak stuff like "Mandatory suicide" and, especially, "Captor of sin" when they are not playing gems like "Divine intervention", "Jesus saves"/"Altar of sacrifice" or even "Kill again"? Why play "Stain of mind" instead of the vastly superior "Bitter peace"? And what is that sad wimp Kirk Hammett doing in the Fans Rule section?? Finally, it would have been nice with a few more people in the Fans Rule part who had managed to graduate from high school. Though my favorites, the guy who eats a beercan and the chick who fancied doing both Kerry and Jeff in a cemetary, were both quite "interesting", it made us Slayer fans look a bit out of the loop. And next time, give Paul Bostaph at least one line. He's been in the band for ten years now, and deserves at least that much.

Don't let that put you off, though. Musically (almost) flawless, visually interesting and with great extra material (the Fans Rule part is roughly an hour of zaniness), this is a textbook release. Watch and learn!!

Summary: South of Heaven
Review: Slayer is my favorite metal band beside Pantera and seeing this dvd is awesome. South of Heaven and raining blood are great on this. The only problem are the ltyrics sound like thyre slurred half the time and the documentary is really weird and unnessecary, but the Dvd itself is still great.

Summary: SLAAAAAAAAYER!
Review: This DVD is amazing it shows Slayer at their best in an all out awesome concert. Slayer plays 19 songs in their live concert, with classics such as "Dead Skin Mask", "Hell Awaits", "Raining Blood", "Chemical Warfare", "South of Heaven", and "Die By the Sword" being played excellently. Their is also an abundance of new soon to be classics such as "Disciple", "New Faith", "Here Comes the Pain", and "Stain of Mind" being played. Basically with this DVD you get one of the best bands ever playing 19 of their all time best songs, a music video of Bloodline, and interviews with their always crazy Slaytanic fans. Buy this or be a pathetic rap-rock loser. SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYER!!!

Summary: Slaytanic!
Review: The fans in this dvd, except some of the hot girls, all are driveling slobbering idiots, I've listened to this music since 1985 and I'm not 300 pounds or retarded, but other than the fan section of the dvd, the concert is shot from mostly above, but with some different angles, I like Slayer enough to give it a 5, the sound is great.
