Rating: Summary: AWESOME DVD (dts).... A Must Have! Review: I wasn't a huge Eagles fan until now. The first time through, this DVD gave me goose bumps on every cut. The audio is the best I've heard and if you have a dts decoder, you must buy this DVD. There is hardly a day that goes by without me listening to at least a few cuts....I just don't get tired of it. Buy it and enjoy!!
Rating: Summary: AWESOME! Review: This DVD is a must! The music is great, the sound is awesome and the memories are even better. This was my first DVD purchase to take home with my new home theater system, not really understanding all the THX, DTS, 5.1, AC-3 lingo I just wanted something to show off my system and man, does this work! It's a show that you'll never get tired of...the more you see it the better it gets.
Rating: Summary: The Eagles in concert & at their best! Review: If you like the 70s music of the Eagles or the 90s sounds of Don Henley or Joe Walsh, this DVD is an anthology of The Eagles greatist hits. From their first big seller "Take It Easy to the 90s hard-hitting "Get Over It," this superb video concert of the band, together again, will not disappoint. The flamenco guitar intro to "Hotel California" is my favorite, but if you were alive in the 70s, you will know every song. Concert footage makes up the bulk of this visual album, but the lead-in tracks tell the story of how the band "really never broke up, we just took a 14-year vacation."
Rating: Summary: This DTS DVD is simply AWESOME Review: I have to agree with most every positive comment in this review section. I'm not one with "sensitive" listening skills but the DTS track "Seven Bridges" (which by the way doesn't have any live video with it) is an awesome listening experience. Too bad the whole disc wasn't like that track. Even so, this is a masterfully created disc. Can't believe it wasn't in the $ 25 range. You won't be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: A nice concert and a well done DVD with excellent DTS audio Review: If you're an Eagle's fan and you've got the equipment to play this DVD, then you're really missing out if you don't have this disc. The emersive qualities of this DVD will make you feel like you're right there.
Rating: Summary: What more can you ask for? Review: I've enjoyed the eagles in the early seventies and have been playing their songs since then. I'm glad I bought this DVD copy which is an excellent addition to my collection. What more can you ask for...Excellent quality both audio and video which is really worth your money.
Rating: Summary: Powerful, moving, bring a tear to a grown mans' eye concert Review: The Eagles started making their brand of musical magic soon after I entered the U.S. Air Force. Their stories in song got me through a 24-year military career, a couple of failed marriages, the loss of several friends and loved ones, and more than a few long nights in some unsavory far away (& near) places. Very few artists' can stand the test of time in the entertainment business. The "Hell Freezes Over" reunion of the Eagles is definitely the "icing on the cake." God bless you guys and thanks for all the memories. Buddy West
Rating: Summary: " BEST OF MY LOVE " IS MISSING IN THIS DVD Review: I love Eagles since 1972, their songs, drums, guitars, bass guitar, pianos playing are great ! Timothy's bass guitar playing is fantastic particularly in the titles of NEW YORK MINUTES and HELP ME THROUGH THE NIGHT. The DTS copy sounds better than the other one. The acoustic guitars do not sound enough, a pity ! Even I increase the volume of front and rear speakers, the guitars solos still sound weak. I miss the song " Best Of My Love " which is not included in this title. Anyone who doesn't buy this DTS DVD will be sorry for their lives !
Rating: Summary: A must buy...but not a DTS "demonstration" dvd! Review: A really enjoyable concert! It is nice to see and hear the Eagles again! My only complaint, however, is that alot of the guitar solos are mixed too low on this dvd. On Hotel California, the lead guitars are almost absent and the base line is way too loud! Anybody else notice this? I would still recommend this dvd...but it is not the best DTS demonstration...except for the last cut "Seven Bridges"...which is DTS perfect! If anyone else has experienced the above problem with hearing the lead guitar solos..drop me a line!
Rating: Summary: DTS is the only way!! Review: The Eagles did us all a service by doing this one in DTS. Dolby can keep their AC 3. The Eagles are great!!
