Rating: Summary: Elvis Aloha From Hawaii Review: This is the way an Elvis DVD must sound like! Yes Guys: it's truly Dolby Digital 5.1. Aloha from Hawaii is simply the best sounding Elvis DVD I own. (If only the >That's The Way It Is< DVD would have that Sound! The >That's The Way It Is< documentation is the best Elvis ever captured on film, and the sound of the DVD is a big crime.) Aloha from Hawaii is a must for every Elvis fan anyway. For the last time he looks really great again after losing weight. It's obvious that Elvis is on some kind of medication during the Concert, he's not moving a lot at all, but hey: the man doesn't need to. He's getting more and more relaxed from Song to Song, his voice is great and the Gig has lots of strong moments. >My Way< sounds wonderful and >An American Trilogy< blew me away. If the Concert would only be 3 hours longer! When it's over, I always have the feeling that Elvis was just getting warm and started to feel comfortable on Stage. Aloha from Hawaii is the last great filmed TV performance of Elvis. After that the magic got more and more lost. He's not half as good (and himself) as he is in >That's The Way It Is <, but he's great anyway. Everybody who loves this man like I do: GET THIS DVD! It's worth it! Michael Kiske
Rating: Summary: THIS WAS ELVIS AT HIS VERY BEST!!! Review: I HAVE READ A LOT ON HOW HE FELT BEFORE THIS PERFORMANCE. THE POSITIVE SIDE IS THAT NO OTHER DVD IN SOUND AND VIDEO CAN TOUCH IT! IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND! WHO EVER RE-MASTERED THIS DVD KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING! ITS ELVIS AT HIS VERY BEST! HE'S VERY NERVOUS BUT DOES SETTLE DOWN AFTER AWHILE! IF YOUR GOING TO BUY ONE ELVIS CONCERT? THIS IS THE BOMB!
Rating: Summary: ELVIS PRESLEY IN TOP FORM! Review: Elvis Preley, one of the biggest legends of all time. He is remembered for his extraordinary voice, ecentric style, and dynamic showmanship. Here in a 1973 television special,we see the King in his prime. The video shows excellent glimpses and shots at what the man did best: perform. The beauty of the "Elvis Concert" is shown, and sure other critiques have been made on the 'Aloha' concert, that Elvis' moves weren't that dynamic, Elvis seemed tired: "Hey he was probably nervous-he performed for over one billon people"! The show is excellent for anyone who is a fan, music lover, or a person who digs pop-culture. Be sure not to miss Elvis at his last pinnacle, "Aloha From Hawaii. Some points that stand out are: -See See Rider -Suspicious Minds -Something -American Trilogy -My Way -Fever -Elvis' 'American Eagle Jumpsuit'

Rating: Summary: WOW!!! Review: What a powerful performance! I'd suggest this over any other Elvis Presley DVD. Too bad they're all sold out at Amazon. Still looking for a copy? Try musiccdvideo.com - they have Aloha from Hawaii & '68 Comeback Special for only $20 brand new! Check it Out.
Rating: Summary: Very good DVD Review: This DVD is very good. It was not in stock though so I had to find it somewhere else instead of letting one of those auction fools rip me off. I still had to pay $10 more than I would at CDNow.com. The sound and quality of the video is great though.
Rating: Summary: Great Concert....Terrible DVD Review: This is Elvis at his height of Fame! But the DVD is just the concert and we fans desire more. Some extra's and interviews would be nice but there are none on this DVD. I really hope Elvis Presley Enterprise rerelease this loaded with extra's. Thats why I gave it a 3 instead of a 5.
Rating: Summary: elvis-Aloha From Hawaii Review: pure brilliant the king at his best elvis looks fantastic in that jump suit
Rating: Summary: A Great Dvd But............................................. Review: I give it 4 star's because of one they cut 3 song's out, there seem's to be distortion in 3 of the song's and mine had a really bad glitch during "Big Hunk Of Love". Other then that this is a really good dvd of the king at the pinacle of success. Aloha has always been my favorite performance and it show's him at his best. This dvd practically put's you right there in the audience, the sound is awsome. Hopefully when EPE re-releases it later this year they put the three song's back in and make it a complete performance. Bottom line is it's a great dvd save for the point's I made. If your an Elvis fan like I am you can over look it and go out and by it.
