Summary: This video rules!!!
Review: While the video and audio may not be top quality, the fact that it's dedicated to Cliff makes it worth if for any Metallica fan. This is an important part of Metallica history that all fanz should own.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great view of Metallica's early days and Cliff's years
Review: This is a great "for what it's worth" metallica vid...sure LIve S*** is the ultimate live vid/cd but this was a look at Metallica back when they weren't so popular, back when they were still headlining for others! Great song choices!

Summary: METALLICA AT THEIR VERY BEST
Review: James, Dave, Lars, and, of course, the late great Cliff Burton himself. This was, in my view, the greatest line-up of any band. This video is a must for any hardcore Metallica fan.

Summary: outstanding
Review: This is metallica at its best with the best bass player ever ----- Cliff Burton its clips of Cliff at what he does best. It also has very early clips of the band before Kirk Hammet was in it... But its an over all look back at the band at their best with the best.

Summary: CLIFF!!
Review: CLIFF BURTON IS THE BEST BASS PLAYER OF ALL TIME. SOMETIMES I WONDER WHAT METALLICA WOULD SOUND LIKE TODAY IF CLIFF WERE STILL ALIVE. THIS VIDEO ALSO HAS A RARE PERFORMANCE FROM 1983 WITH THEN LEAD GUITARIST DAVE MUSTAINE, NOW FRONTMAN OF MEGADETH!

Summary: Definately Worth It....
Review: Excellent video, with mainly songs, live, of course, not bad footage considering how old it is and that most was taken on home video cameras. I've actually seen the video CD version of this, so it wasn't as good a qaulity as the VHS. If you like Metallica and like their old stuff, its definately worth it....! END

Summary: AWESOME!!!
Review: Excellent tribute to Cliff Burton. It contains some great footage from their first concerts, and in some places the video is quite bad because most of it was taken with home video cameras. The video contains some excellent solos by Cliff Burton and also a perspective into his life. Buy it. END

Summary: After I watched this I cried for 10 minutes.
Review: Thats how much I miss the old Metallica. If you love bass guitar then you must own this or else youre missing out on something great and even if youre not that interested in the bass guitar you will be after watching this. From his dramatic appearance to his virtuosic bass playing Cliff Burton was all about his own sense of style.Ive never heard anybody play the bass quite that good.Hell most guitarists these days dont pour half the heart and soul into their lead guitar playing than Cliff did with his bass playing. You must own this.Now.

Summary: This happened with Sabbath Live in 78
Review: Why must people complain about the quality of a legal bootleg recording. This aggravates me. This DVD is so beautiful and is the perfect look back on Cliff. And you people complain about quality. Just listen to what you're hearing. You'll be stunned. They guys playing LEAD BASS. No one ever did that before. And now you can see him performing and hear him soloing on excellent bootlegs that the band got hold of after his death and released as a tribute to them. How dare anyone insult anything with Cliff on it. That's blasphemy. I would pay anything for this. And you people complain because you couldn't get it at the same time as your britney spears cd. Well who cares about you. You are merely being a d**che and getting in the way of more people experiencing this. You are therefore slowing down civilization by tricking people into not buying this you filthy d**chbags.

Summary: Never Happy Endings...
Review: ...but you've still got the records when your heroes are gone. All of Metallica's 80s output is 5 star stuff; Metallica's cover versions alone wipe the floor with most bands' music(including Limp Bizkit, buddy) and this collection of (mostly) rough bootleg footage is no exception. I remember many teenage basement and rec room viewing parties when this came out, but I have one complaint: these guys have(deservedly) attained a private jet and personal chef level of success in the ensuing years, and they couldn't throw any bonus stuff on here? RIP Cliff
