Rating: Summary: Janet Jackson Will Bring You In, and Turn You On! Review: Janet Jackson gives audiences an electrifying performance as she brings an end to her "All For You" tour in Honolulu, Hawaii. Jackson, 37, sings 26 hit songs. Some of which are from her current and four previous albums: Control, Rhythm Nation, Janet, and Valvet Rope. In her "All For You" tour, Jackson's fifth album includes songs like: All For You, You Ain't Right, Someone To Call My Lover, Trust A Try, and more. There is one song in this high caliber celebrity performance, "Would You Mind," is where Jackson selects a member from the audience to go up on stage with her. This is as close anybody can get to Jackson, and there is a part where the fan (a male) is straped to a table as Jackson performs her musically seductive role that will make you hot under the collar! Are you ready for Janet Jackson? If you are, this is the DVD you have been looking for.
Rating: Summary: WOULD U MIND? Review: This is Janet so of course I had to give this 5 stars and its worth it. If you saw the concert you know its amazing. If you haven't read on. The concert starts off with janet running around the beach and under the waterfall topless and then she enters the stage fully clothed, amazing how does she do it. She plays the songs "If, That's the way love goes, All for you", and more of the classics and the new ones but nothing compares to the stage performance of "Would you mind". She has way out done her performance of "Rope Burn". In "Would you mind" she of course gets a guy out the audience and she puts him on this table specially made for a person that moves around and that's all I can tell you about it. The features are even better. It has a photo gallery, rehearsel, and a series of performances of "Would you mind" around the United States. The only bad thing I have about the DVD is that the crowd in Hawaii were not as wild as the New York crowd. The crowd had their burst of excitement but not full shouting like the New York crowd. The DVD is worth the money, the concert also last way over 2 hours long.
Rating: Summary: Just Simply Janet--A Rare Gem---A must have Review: I love every minute of the show, the old songs brought back memories and the new songs were just as great. There are couple additives on the cd such as an interview with the lovely Miss Jackson, photos and "Would Mine" moments where you know guys got a rare threat of having their fantasy come true for couple minutes on stage with Janet. Janet songs were awesome and can't wait for the "Damito Jo" tour. She has never dissapointed her "true" fans and she will always have one in me. Get the new album and support my girl Janet, cause she is the only one left in the bunch of 80' 90' diva(Whitney???--still love her, Mariah--a voice to behold, Anita Baker--A diva that never GOT that DUE recognition she deserves) So, that sums it up, get Damita Jo and screw the FCC. BUYYYYYY ITTTT
Rating: Summary: Hawai + Janet = Hot! Review: Being an owner of everything Janet, this of course was a must buy for me. And I can honestly say I was not dissapointed....UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR! This DVD has it all! Great concert and great extra's (which don't come with every concert DVD that's made). From beginning to end this concert is majorly entertaining. Favourite songs like 'Got till its gone', 'Rythm Nation', 'Love will never do', 'Nasty' etc are all there. Plus excellent new songs like 'Trust' (great costumes), 'All for U' and Son of a gun' (with a nice surprise performance by Missy E. and taped images of Carly Simon). With a new set of dancers and a band that clearly knows what its doing, this musical experience is a winner and one of the best concert DVD's out there.
Rating: Summary: Skip this one Review: The negatives out way the positives here. My wife could not sit through the whole thing. She got too board. I found myself wanting to turn it off too, but sat watching, hoping it would get better. After what seems like hours and hours it got better near the ending which was done very well, but there are far too many mundane, routine moments in this video that leave you hoping for more. Janet's voice is hard to hear in this video. Most of the songs are so obviously prerecorded with Janet lip-syncing to them. There isn't much of a live feeling to this video. The sound quality is good, except for Janet's faint voice. The various camera views are constantly moving, and distract from the concert. You rarely get a good close-up shot of Janet, her band, or the dancers. The technical quality of the video itself is REALLY BAD. I viewed this video on a large home movie screen using a high quality DLP projector. I could see the DVD compression artifacts almost constantly in this video. This is not so in Velvet Rope. They should fire the people responsible for the total lack of video quality in this piece. I suppose that would be the HBO guys? Anyway, don't get this video and watch it on a large screen, use a really small screen so you can't see all the horrible DVD compression artifacts present in this video. Also, the color is REALLY BAD, especially in the intro scene where Janet is on the beach. The whole video is blurry and looks like it was shot with really cheap equipment. I highly recommend getting the Velvet Rope video instead; unless you are a real die hard Janet fan you will probably NOT enjoy this video. Velvet Rope is full of energy, never boring, high quality, the camera shots are well done, and you can clearly hear Janet's voice.
Rating: Summary: This Janet DVD is ALL FOR YOU! Review: I have watched this DVD by Janet over and over since I bought it, I love the energy that she brings to the show and I think it's fare to say that she is without doubt a better artist that Michael Jackson - my favourite performances at this concert are "If" and "Rhythm Nation" - I think Janet's dancing is absolutely amazing and I so wish I could dance like that!. I think you'll enjoy this DVD and I think you should order it NOW!.
Rating: Summary: Velvet Rope is better Review: I attended both tours and own both of the HBO shows and I can honestly say Velvet Rope is a much better tour. All For You is only better because of the bright colours onstage and Janet dressed up more girly, but Velvet Rope was all about the music and art, not the stripping and changing backstage.
Rating: Summary: Totally Agree With The Reviewer From Santa Clara, California Review: It was quite boring! Other than watching Janet change costumes, there really wasn't anything that kept my attention on this one. Get the Velet Rope concert from Madison Square Garden instead. It was much more exciting and electric!

She sings very beautifully too! My favs are "Trust a Try", "Would You Mind" (Janet takes a man from the audience and does a little bit nasty things to him, a little bit erotic). I have to say this is much better than that first live DVD! Much better!
Rating: Summary: oh boy Review: In comparison to her other concerts, this one is the lowest most boring thing I ever seen done by Janet. I couldn't even watch the whole concet. Too boring!
