Rating: Summary: Live Aus Berlin -- the best live show I've ever seen Review: Live Aus Berlin (LAB for short) is by far the best live show I have ever seen. Rammstein fans will not be disappointed. If you are unfamiliar with Rammstein live, imagine the musical intesity of metallica, the live stage precision of N*sync, and the pyrotechincs and costuming of musical theatre. Yet, for all this, Rammstein is distinctly German. The songs are taken from Sehnsucht and Herzeleid, but the highlight of the show is a stunning performance of the single, Wilder Wein. During this beuatiful ballad, all three guitarist step onstage dressed in oversized sombreros as each strums the haunting melody. It is unlike anything I have ever seen, both humorous and eerie. The only downside is that the vesion I own had the song Buch Dich (Bend Over) cut from the show. However, an extensive interview with scenes from Ramstein's videos and other live performances made up for this minor setback. All in all, I highly reccommend this DVD for any fan of Industrial/Heavy Metal music. Rammstein shows their appreciation for their fans by putting on one helluva show.
Rating: Summary: Great Show Review: I love Rammstein. and I was glad to see them in concert since they never perform anywhere near me.
Rating: Summary: Rammstein = Good, Amazon.com Editorial Review = BAD Review: I have been a huge fan of Rammstein (And Megaherz, they deserve mentioning, if you like Rammstein check them out) since the album Sehnsucht came out. Ever since i first heard their music i was blown away by the sheer power of it. I bought the VHS of Live Aus Berlin when it came out and their visual performance is appropriate for the music which contains such a roller-coaster ride of mixed emotions. The DVD is even better than the VHS of course because everyone knows the quality is higher but the added bonus features are very nice too. I dont however see why they had to censor Buck Dich, it was a comical gag and was not meant to be taken seriously. I mean they preformed it that way live in Europe and never had and problems as far as people complaining about it being "dirty and homosexual" but when they preform it in USA they get arrested for it, and the song gets edited from the DVD but its still on the vhs? . How pointless is that, i mean if you dont want to see it you can just push a button and then - WOW - you are on the next song. But aside from that it is still a worth while purchase if you like Rammstein even the slightest. However, the "Official amazon review" that is at the beginning of this page is, in a word - pathetic. I mean of the 2 song titles the guy tried to translate he got neither of them right. "Du Hast" means "You Have" NOT "You Hate", and "Heirate Mich" means "Marry Me" How could anyone mistake that for "Worship Me"? (obviously no research was done for this article). So since the reviewer didnt know exactly what they are saying he just assumed for the worst, and made their lyrics sound even more fitting to his relating of Rammstein to the little angry kids at Columbine and Nazis. Get better reviewers Amazon.com, geesh.
Rating: Summary: I like Rammstein!!! Review: I just recently started listening to Rammstein because of the cover to Depeche Mode's "Stripped" (Sensucht Cd). The music is very much harder than other bands I frequent (Project Pitchfork) but I enjoy there image and music. Live Aus Berlin DVD is AWESOME!!!!
Rating: Summary: Nothing else like them !!!!!!!!! Review: I have been listening to this band since my teenage son introduced me to them about 5 years ago, and have not stopped listening since. I finally bought the video live aus berlin recently and it is AWESOME, INCREDIBLE, EXCEPTIONAL, and every good adjective that there is. THEIR IS NO OTHER BAND LIKE THEM. Now if I can only find some more videos I'll be extremely happy. Thank you Rammstein.

Rating: Summary: I wish I could have been there Review: We have got quite a collection of DVD movies and a couple of music consert dvds but truthfully my sons and I have watched this DVD at least 75 times. We did see them live in Madison,WI but they were not headlining and their show was only a little over an hour. One word---Pyrotechnics.
Rating: Summary: Caution: Contents May Cause Burns. Review: These RammenDaddies are hot! Literally. This DVD is choice selections of Herzeleid, Sehnsucht and then some. Live Aus Berlin DVD or VHS lets you know what you've been missing if you've never been to a Rammstein concert before. If you have, you're making plans for the next show and when is it ! After descending onstage from an iron child's playground swing, the lead singer pans his arm across in a "Yes, I'm talking to you" sweep of the crowd. Drummer Doom drives the beat hard and strong while Oliver, Richard, Paul and Flake (pronounced Flah-keh) keep melody and choral tone. Flames shoot up, out, sparklers and explosions flare at the Rammstein Construction Site and the microphones burn. Really. Machinery drops, crashing the stage and the ground rumbles, as the foremen direct the show. A highlight of this three-ring performance is Buck Dich, in its creme de la creme vaudevillian style. The lead singer walks out to center stage with that Buster Keaton glint in his eye and acts out the frustration of the couple struggle with the keyboardist. No leash can hold him and when Flake breaks away, abgehacht, the singer then turns to the crowd. What follows is like sitting in the front row of a Gallagher performance cross cut with takes from the Broadway musical Hair. When the singer finishes his song, he exits stage right trailing a garden hose behind him that has been snaked up the back leg of his knickers. During the final set, Flake sails in a rubber raft on a sea of fans who handle him around and back to the stage where he takes his bows. After the final song, Seemann, Rammstein crawls off the stage on hands and knees. There is none like them. I was crushed when I bought the DVD and Buck Dich was not featured. This was one of three reasons for my purchase. The other was Laichzeit and the clarity of the 'pause' feature of my DVD player. However; the DVD holds extras, an interview, multicamera views of three songs performed and a bonus track. This doesn't replace Buck Dich, but, we all have our crosses to bear. The interview has subtitles in three languages. Watch the whole thing from start to finish or pick and choose your favorite parts. I opted for purchasing the DVD and the VHS for the complete experience.
