Summary: Well worth it!
Review: This DVD is definitely worth buying if you one or more of Rammstein's albums and you listen to them (it) frequently.
It rules.
I spent a night just watching the whole thing.
I had downloading videos online, but of course it's never the same. For $8.99, you get a lot of Rammstein material, including the "Making Of" mini-documentaries, which run from 10-20 minutes long each, not to mention the videos for your favorite singles.

Summary: Fukken Uber Alles
Review: This is the best DVD for any German band out there. I recently bought the North American version, and highly anticipated getting it. When I got it, I ripped open the package stuck in my PS2, and let myself get absorbed into the fascinating world of RAMMSTEIN! The live concerts vids are amazingly shot, the music videos are plentiful and assuring that Rammstein can execute with videos as well as with their albums. The achtung blitzkreig! part is quite informative on how the media has reacted to Rammstein coming and sucess. I highly anticipate the new album coming in August/September and the single in May 2004. For great Rammstein news go to herzeleid.com

Review: i got this dvd anout 2 days after it was released and found it that it was the last copy of 5 total.(LUCKY ME !) anyway, i was thrilled to have a complete collection of videos, even though i had already downloaded du hast, sonne, ich will, and mutter. i also was happy to see that there were live performences. i had only seen live aus berlin, and wanted to see how different crowds reacted at different times. overall, this KICKED ASS, and i would highly recommend buying it.

Summary: "Oh, my sweet Lord, it's RAMMSTEIN!"
Review: At long last, American Rammstein fans who aren't net-savvy enough to download videos have the whole R+ video catalog at their fingertips with "Lichtspielhaus." As a fairly new Rammstein fan, I was anticipating this DVD avidly because I'd never seen any of the videos, and it definitely did not disappoint. I'd heard about the various videos, most notably "Du Hast" and "Ich Will," but even the straight performance videos have a nice edge to them. In addition to the videos, there's also a couple of hours worth of "the making of" various videos and live clips from shows around the world. On the live menu, only the shows are listed, not the songs that will be performed, so it's a bit of a surprise bag. Fans will note that there is a clip from "Live Aus Berlin," which was released on DVD here a couple of years ago, but it's actually treated as more of a performance video, as the song performed is taken straight from the CD! And, being a red-blooded heterosexual woman, all the excellent shots of a shirtless, greased-up Till Lindemann automatically add stars to my rating, heh heh.

Diehard fans will do a bit of nitpicking--it was heavily rumored that "Lichtspielhaus" would contain the video for Rammstein's cover of Kraftwerk's "Das Modell," but it doesn't, nor does it contain a live video of the infamous stage working of "Buck Dich" that got Till and Flake Lorenz arrested a few years ago. I had some difficulty in getting to the section that allowed you to add English subtitles (a must if you want to view "the making of" section and don't speak German), but that was my only complaint. Otherwise, it's an excellent investment for Rammstein fans, not to mention a great value. Even if you've seen the videos over the net, you'll find "Lichtspielhaus" light years ahead in quality--and it'll keep your appetite whetted for the new CD that should come out this year.

Summary: very well done
Review: the way this dvd is presented is amazing. the menus alone are worth the price. the menus are actually worth looking at for some time. my only gripe is that scolling is quite slow from getting from menu to menu and picking a video to watch. i also wish that they had included the das modell video, even though it was never officially released. it also would have been nice to include the mtv performances along with the selection of live videos. and i also would have loved to see sonne played live, as that is my favorite rammstein song. but all together, this dvd is well worth the price and is the best dvd since marilyn mansons-guns god and goverment world tour dvd

Summary: The original Boy Gruppe does it again
Review: One of the best heavy Metal bands ever. These East German's have shown the world what true "non-sellout" rock is all about. Rammstein mix goth with techno and rock. This combination and the brash german language give it a wonderful sound and effect. The lyrcs are wicked and original. This dvd is a great buy and for the price, a great intoduction to any new R+ fans. Don't be shy just because you dont speak german. Many people love this music without understanding a bit of german. The DVD include subtitles in English, French, ect. Buy this DVD. One of the best bands ever!!!

Summary: Art at its finest.
Review: Picasso, Degas, watch out...Rammstein is right behind you! I STRONGLY recommend this DVD to ANY person who loves art, music or German! Being a German student myself, I have to say that listening to Rammstein and watching their interviews has helped me become more and more fluent. Lichtspielhaus is the one DVD where you'll find everything you wanted to know about each individual Rammstein music video, from the lips of the industrial masters themselves. You can find interviews, behind the scenes shots, and watch how the videos were made. Then, you can watch the video itself to see all the photographic perfection at work! The interviews have German, English, French, Spanish, and Japanese subtitles- a broad variety for anyone who isn't fluent in German or English. Again, don't waste another minute- get Lichtspielhaus!!!

Summary: Dieses ist ein großes DVD
Review: I was farly excited about the release of this dvd. The music videos are quite well done the live footage is awsom and to top it off they added more then 40 min of behind the scene makeing of
documentarys on the vidoes. If there was one thing that i didn't like was the lack of a 5.1 soundtrack, but not offering 5.1 was not the way to do business for these guys. the menue alows you to pick 5.1 in the options screen but after you select it your told it's not on the disc. The 5.1 could have been left out with out heveing it rubbed in your face. Anyway, this DVD is great.
after a videw of this dics all i could think of was "ich kann nicht warten, daß sie ihre folgende CD bilden"

Summary: Excellent.
Review: This DVD is a must-have if you like Rammstein. All of their music videos in outstanding video and audio quality. (I was particularly surprised by how well it sounded). The videos speak for themselves. Unfortunately they are rarely (if ever) broadcasted in the United States, but are in my opinion some of the best music videos ever produced. Even if you aren't a die-hard Rammstein fan, but like some of their songs, this DVD is worth getting, especially for the price. You will definitely have a greater respect and admiration for them after watching this DVD (and maybe inspire you to learn German!). Thankfully, however, there are english subtitles of the interview dialouge, but not the songs.
