Rating: Summary: great buy Review: I love this band, so naturally I was excited to buy this DVD. I have been dissapointed with a lot of music DVD's in the past but not this one. I am a tough critic. This DVD is spectacular. It is worth every cent. The videos themselves are great with live interviews. I highly reccomend this DVD and the Live Aus Berlin DVD to any fan of Rammstein. You wont regret this buy. Also the live footage of the concets alone is well worht the price of this Disc. Buy it Today and support Rammstein.
Rating: Summary: A must-have for RAMMS+EIN fans. Review: Like the title says, if you are a fan of RAMMS+EIN, small or big fan, this is a definite must-have in your collection. The only music video i saw from them was Du hast back in '98. Back in 2003, I became a big RAMMS+EIN fan. I had all of the cds they have in stores here. Then a friend let me borrow the Family Values Tour '98 tape. She had told me RAMMS+EIN was on it. I had never seen them perform, so I borrowed it. It is also a must have. It was a good beginning look for RAMMS+EIN since I had never seen them perform live. After watching that, I searched online and found Live aus Berlin. I had the cd, (it was the first RAMMS+EIN cd I bought, a good beginning cd for new listeners). I always wondered what kind of performance they did based on the cd. I knew immediately I had to get it. The first day, it blew my mind away. I still believe today it is the best concert DVD I have and will ever see. When I saw the music videos they had shown on the Live aus Berlin DVD interview, I definitely wanted to see all of their videos. Finally this year, they have released a DVD with not just ALL of their music videos, but even more good concert footage including songs performed from Mutter. I really enjoy watching how the made a few of the videos on the DVD. The DVD menus are definitely awesome. Trust me, if you even think RAMMS+EIN's music is ok, and if you don't have a friend who has this DVD, go out and buy it. It is suprisingly very cheap for its importance. Ever since I have bought it, I have watched it about everyday since. Like I said, it is a must-have. Here is a listing of RAMMS+EIN cd's and DVD's I have gotten in order, (which is a good way to enjoy their music if you haven't yet). Live aus Berlin-cd, Mutter-cd, Sehnsucht-cd, Herzeleid-cd, Family Values Tour '98-DVD or VHS, Live aus Berlin-DVD or VHS, Lichtspielhaus-DVD- a good topper to the collection. ENJOY!
Rating: Summary: The Greatest Band on Earth Review: I have been a big fan of Rammstein for many years now. I was like a little child on Christmas morning when I recieved this dvd. Living in the U.S. it's hard to come buy the bands video's and such. This dvd has it all. If you are a Rammstein fan you know exactley what I mean. It is a very beautiful thing.
Rating: Summary: Essential to any fan Review: This is one of the best produced music dvds you can find. A+ all around, and the best part is that it's dirt cheap! Rammstein is one of the very few worthy mainstream artists around. No one can touch them. It's about time that a band becomes big in America simply because they are good! And they don't even sing in English. They stand in stark contrast to all the nu metal feces that the mindless masses gobble without a thought, with their early 90's style Martial Industrial Metal shaded with Gothic melodrama. They're also one of the most visually stunning and theatrical bands since KISS. There may be hope yet.
Rating: Summary: No 5.1 Review: I am a fan of Rammstein, Live Aus Berlin is about the greatest music DVD produced. Lichtspielhaus is nice, great songs and content as you would expect. But, I was dissapointed that 5.1 dolby digital is not active. 5.1 is listed in the menu, once you figure out how to find it. After selecting 5.1, a menu screen appears which indicates 5.1 is not available. That's too bad, Live Aus Berlin has one of the best 5.1 mixes I have heard. Lichtspielhaus should carry on the quality and entertainment level these guys are capable of. Can't beat the price though!
Rating: Summary: ICH LEIBE RAMMSTEIN!!!! Review: This is by far the coolest music DVD out there. I bought it the first day it was released, and I couldn't wait 'till I got home to watch it. I was beyond impressed by the content in this dvd! I just knew they could put out a kick ass dvd such as this!! The videos were totally great. Being a typical girl, I loved the du reisch so gut video, because I got to see all the guys shirtless! Oh baby!! Anyway, the other content like Achtung Blitzkrieg was awesome, showing how the band became one of the world's powerhouses in the music industry. It also contains a great line, "OH MY SWEET LORD, IT'S RAMMSTEIN!!" There isn't a better way to announce that at the MTV Video Awards. It was awesome how Flake (my favorite member) talked about The Ramones! Other stuff included were live shows, and making of the videos. I'm telling you, if you like Rammstein as much as I do, you would quit listening to played out crap on the radio and go for the real deal, in which a band shows themselves as freaky, creating unusual stage shows and pyrotechnics. Who do you think I'm talking about?? RAMMSTEIN!! Hands down, this dvd is the absolute best!! Drive your ass down to the store and snap it up! I guarantee you won't be disappointed!!!
Rating: Summary: Best DVD ever!! Review: I am a huge fan of Rammstein and I love this DVD! The menu is a little slow, but the rest of the DVD more than makes up for it! A must have for Rammstein fans!
Rating: Summary: Perfect for the Rammstein fan Review: I've loved Rammstein for years and like many fans find them a bit ellusive. Interviews are hard to come by, the band doesn't divulge their personal information, and for the most part they're clothed in secrecy. "Lichtspielhaus" lets you see another side of the band that you don't normally see. In their making the videos section, you see senses of humor come out from the band members. You see them tease each other, make jokes, and otherwise act like the opposite of the robotic, stoic creatures they appear to be normally. Interviews are a real mouthful and too lengthy...it seems impossible for a German to give a simple yes or no answer, and the DVD menu is a real challenge to navigate. Other than that, this is the DVD Rammstein fans have been waiting for.
Rating: Summary: Lichtspielhaus has the flavor of "Berlin" and.......... Review: Lichtspielhaus has the flavor of "Berlin" and everything else that makes Rammstein great. Their music never get repetitive and the displays in show rival that of even "Berlin". Buy it and love it, of course if your new to rammstein i suggest checking out "Berlin" before moving on to Lichtspielhaus. Its just some advice because if you didnt understand there actions in "Berlin" you will never understand Lichtspielhaus.
Rating: Summary: best way to spend 12 bucks Review: I have always loved Rammstein, they are my favorite band. I have had all the music videos downloaded fromthe internet, but due to a bad computer they came out 'choppy' and had advetizments on it. Lichtspeilhaus eliminates all those problems and allows you to see them on your larger tv screen with a much better sound system. The videos all are a work of art, and the "Links 2,3,4" live version played at the Velredome is awsome A must buy for any true Rammstein Fans
