Review: I love Motley Crue and it was a real joy to find out that they finally put a DVD out with *all* of their videos on it(including the hidden 'easter egg' videos for Public Enemy #1,Take Me To The Top and Shout At The Devil '97..
Speaking of which,to pass on what I learned in here,*here's* how you access these hidden videos:
1.)Take Me To The Top:
On the Main Page,place the cursor on 'set-up',press your DVD remote in the following sequence: Up,Up,Down,Up,Down,Left then Right and you'll be able to see this video.
2.)Public Enemy #1:
On Page 2 of 'Choose a damn video' place your cursor on track 7 (which is Looks That Kill),then push the cursor Down,Right,Up,Left,Up,Right then down and you'll be able to see this video..
and for
3,)Shout At The Devil '97:
Go to 'extra crap',then go to 'discography' for 'Generation Swine',place the cursor on 'next',then push Up,Up then Up and when the pentagram appears,push that and you can see this video.)
I've always loved Motley Crue. I dug it when they took up with John Corabi for the self-titled 'Motley Crue' album and the 'Quaternary' E.P. back in 1994 and dug what they did with 'Generation Swine' in '97 when Vince returned. Motley is as great visually as they are on record and as a live band,and it's *Awesome* to have this DVD putting all the videos on one DVD.
The interview with Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee is also really cool..
It was a trip to find out that Motley made videos for two of my all-time Corabi-era Crue songs with Misunderstood (a clean and an uncensored version) and for Smoke The Sky. The Crue Rocks. You won't be disappointed if you're either a casual fan of the Crue or even a diehard. Very well-recommended music DVD!!

Summary: I am really starting to get annoyed with Amazon.com
Review: Amazon is really starting to annoy me. In the past couple months I have ordered video collections from Motley Crue, Joan Jett, and The Human League. I have ordered movies such as The Final Countdown and Deadly Invasion. All of them are given release dates and you get the option to pre-order (which I have done in all of these cases) only to look at my order the day after the release date to see Amazon say that it "might be out of print" or "have trouble getting more in stock". It is getting ridiculous. If you can't get the merchandise, don't offer the damn thing for pre-order and then leave people hanging for months with no word. And no, Amazon does NOT let you know if they are unable to obtain a title, you have to contact their customer support to get any information.

Summary: Motley Whue?
Review: Aside from the fact that I think I have a defective copy of this (it freezes up), this is about what I had hoped for, and can't really see much else that 'could' have been added. The easter eggs mentioned around here somewhere do actually work and the first one mentioned as "Shout '97" is actually a crudely filmed "Take Me To The Top". One thing about the old footage for "Take" and "Public", not only are they crudely made but the music differs from what is on either Leathur or Too Fast, go figure. Mick really tears it up on these songs.The videos themselves, as someone mentioned here, do seem to vary in sound qualities and volumes unfortunately. Aside from that, they are quite fun to look back on and some of them seem quite eerie since it was probably 'in the actual eras' of when I'd seen them last. Like Looks That Kill, I must have seen that 50 times back in the day... fast forward 20 years and seeing it today honestly makes me feel 20 years younger:) Being a movie buff now, etc., educated, etc., it's odd to see how cheap and cheesy a lot of the sets were for the older vids. And some vids which were fun back in the day haven't aged well. "Smokin in the Boys Room" is laughably bad and not in a good way, while Home Sweet Home is just about the best vid ever. Quite a toss up package. Well, the extras are nice ... and actually long. Nikki and Tommy sit in for 50plus minutes of looking back and commenting about the videos, sadly they don't seem to remember much, but it's good to see them together. I still can't say enough about the Corabi era. The videos here only serve to highlight how absolutely perfect he fit with this band. Great look, heavy style, and just a new direction. Yes, we all know Vince is Motley, etc etc etc, but I think what bothers me about the Corabi stuff is actually how good it is and how little everyone cared (the public). I wasn't a big fan of the greatest hits artwork and am not any happier that this greatest hits video dvd sports that same exaggerated look. When I think of how much great imagery this band has conjuered up over the years, this aspect could have been much much better. Although, upon opening the clear case I was greeted with some great band photos, pity that couldn't have been on the OUTSIDE! Aside from me having to exchange my copy of this, my biggest gripe would have to be something that could have been simply rectified: Put the dang videos 'in order'! I can't see any reason NOT to!

Review: Dear Motley Fans, First of all, i write this with respect to those of you who have stuck with the Crue. As far as the volume problem, do you have a remote control? The hidden Features are great, thanks to those who passed them on. As for complaining about the footage from "Take me to the top", and "public enemy" how many of you own a copy of Motley's Uncensored? This is the same footage that the band cracked on! Note to Mr. Smith of Fontana, CA Under Extra crap select Playlist, and you can have any order you like.
Now that i got that off my chest...This DVD absolutely rocks! Thanks to Nikki and Tommy for gettin together on this. Definately the BEST Rock and Roll DVD Produced so far!!!!

Summary: Sound is Terrible !!
Review: Great idea for all the videos and hidden stuff...but the sound is terrible no matter what format you try. I have a high end system and would only expect the best from Motley. I feel ripped off in the sound department. I see many others are having this problem as well. Maybe Motley should come up with a way to get us a better version. Show proof of purchase and send it back to them for a good one. Sure they won't with all the cost involved.

Review: I didn't think I was going to be so into Motley Crue like I am today. I always thought of them as the hair metal band from the eighties. But after listening to the Dr. Feelgood album - it all changed-That album is incredible. Anyway, I picked up the greatest hits DVD two weeks ago and serves as a perfect addition to anyone's Motley Crue collection. It has all their videos and bonus features like uncensored version of some videos as well as interviews. I'm telling you this DVD is perfect for those that can appreciate Motley Crue. I Highly recommend it !!

Summary: Enjoyable
Review: I had trouble on my DVD player getting "Take Me To The Top" & "Public Enemy #1" but found out it was my DVD player, not the disc. The videos are very entertaining and the interview with Nikki Sixx & Tommy Lee is insightful and shows how down-to-earth the guys are. If you don't like Motley Crue, this video won't change that, but if you do like them, you'll like this collection spanning their career.
