Summary: It's a Great Complete Concert; but It's Much More Than That
Review: This DVD & CD Will Sell Like Hotcakes by Word of Mouth!
Avril Lavigne's - My World (DVD & CD) gives US what we want.
Many other artists DVD's out there today imply deceptively there is concert and documentary on the disc. You open the plastic with frustration. You start the DVD and you do not to hear a full concert. You see bits of a concert and mostly documentary and random interviews. People you should just never interrupt a song what are you thinking. But there is no game here in Avril Lavigne's DVD+CD.
Avril Lavigne's DVD & CD is very generous and it's what you want and what you meant to by. A Continuous concert of a bout 16 songs from her first Album and more.
We decided to take a ride to the country for a Fourth of July party. My son now 10, got Avril's first album unto our car CD. I'm 42 yr old Santana Fan and my wife is 39yr old Alanis Morissette Fan. I first liked the melody. Then the rhythms and then I was touched by the words. My wife had the same experience.
Dear Avril on behalf of my family; thanks for the second gift in Avril Lavigne - My World

Summary: AWESOME!!!
Review: This DVD totally rocks because it was actually filmed at the concert I attended. (Which is fortunate for me because my video camera died when the show began.) The DVD is packed with lots of Behind-The-Scenes Footage, and extra/rare songs. This is a must-have for any Avril fan, and also would make a great Christmas present. Thanks!!!

Summary: A Great DVD (And CD Too)
Review: This DVD is awsome. Avril is very talented, and preformed great live. It was also wonderful seeing her preform in my city, because seeing the concert again was great. There are also music videos, along with a 6-track bonus CD. In addition, there is a 40 minute behind-the-scenes thing. So again, I recommened this DVD, and if you are an Avril fan, I would get get a copy quick before the more dedicated fans snatch um' up ;)

Summary: ok
Review: A product is produced and the production is really kind of poor. The purpose of this product is to showcase someone's talents and her talents are kind of poor. Some of the songs done are great songs and thats where the 3 stars come into play. Now if you want me to just rate the DVD product I would have to give it 5 stars as the DVD works and is a wonderful invention. Other then that this product is another recording industry deception. The playing is sub par, the singing is sub par, the theatrics again sub par. The only reason this girl has a recording contract is because they needed a Britney Spears for the teen grunge pop genre. I would have given it less starts, but the DVD works and some of the actual songs used to be good before being torn apart by Avril.

Summary: Awesome
Review: First of all, I'd like to point out that this is a product, don't write reviews about what you think it'll be like, or whether or not you like the artist, ok, that's really not rating the product.

Secondly, I'm gonna go over the whole dvd & what it consists. The DVD part of My World consists of a her live performance Try To Shut Me Up Tour in Buffalo NY. She plays 16 songs in this order:
1. Sk8er Boi
2. Nobody's Fool
3. Mobile
4. Anything But Ordinary
5. Losing Grip
6. Naked
7. Too Much to Ask
8. I Don't Give
9. Basket Case(Green Day cover)
10. My World
11. I'm With You
12. Complicated
13. Unwanted
14. Tomorrow
15. Knockin' On Heavens Door
16. Thing's I'll Never Say

She plays Mobile, Naked & Thing's I'll Never Say on electric guitar & Tomorrow on acoustic. Evan solos while Avril sings on Knockin' On Heavens Door, & they both play acoustic for Tomorrow & Avril obviously sings it. Avril's Cut is the behind-scenes featurette with features of Sk8er Boi, Japan, Losing Grip, Fuel, Complicated & more. Outtakes is a bunch of funny things they do, like going on a Roller Coaster with a crazy guy, brushing Avril's teeth, etc. 5 Music Videos including: Complicated, Sk8er Boi, I'm With You, Losing Grip & Knockin' On Heavens Door. A Photo Gallery consisting 28 photos, live pictures from her performances, very nifty. Gear includes pics of her shirts, keychains, a poster, etc. & message about joining her club, that's it.

Third & last, it's the 6 song CD consisting of her performances of: Fuel(on MTV icon), Basket Case(live), Unwanted(live), Sk8er Boi(live), Knockin' On Heavens Door(live) & includes the song Why, which is featured on the Complicated single.

It's a great buy, any Avril fans should enjoy it! As you know she doesn't lip synch any of her songs, she is awesome live, they edited the performance a bit, like the screening part & it's amazing the effects they added, it's truly an awesome performance. I felt like I was there, Thing's I'll Never Say was an awesome way to end the performance, probably the best song she performed, & my favourite off the album. GO & GET IT NOW!! I command you too. No I don't, it's great, buy it.

Summary: Super...
Review: The sheer talent and energy displayed by Miss Avril and her backup band in the concert section is well worth the money for this DVD. If you're an Avril fan, you'll love it. If you're not a fan..., you will be once you watch this thing.

The behind the scenes footage has it's moments, some funny stuff, some not so funny. The extras are all meant for the teen demographic. But, you'll get hooked on the concert. The girl and the band can really rock. And when this little lady starts belting out sustained notes... wow... what a voice.

Summary: Better and Better!
Review: The live performance part of this DVD really shows off Avril's style. It seems clear that the editing was kept to minimum and this has enhanced the live quality of the performance. The 5.1 surround is great and also so adds to the live feel. The backstage piece also works well and it would seem that Avril is not afraid let her fans see the real backstage antics of the band. Road tours are always tiring and hard on the performers and you can see a little of this also. Liked the Japan clip but am wondering how it ended up on the North American Tour! The DVD also has five videos on it with Knocking on Heavens Door as the only new one. The CD is also a nice added bonus and makes for a great listen. This is the perfect fan collection thanks Avril!

Summary: Don't Understand
Review: I don't understand why there are so many people out there that hate Avril. The girl has talent and this DVD displays the talent and the energy she has. If she is able to keep up and develop her talent, she might be the next Alanis Morissette. The concert footage was excellent for any age group and so is her music. I recently started to hear her music and decided to purchase the DVD and I am glad I did. The outakes are funny and gives the viewer an idea on how youthfull she is. Can't wait for her next CD and tour. Stop putting talents down. If you don't like the music or style, don't listen to it, but I think that anyone that gets the DVD will be pleasantly surprise and hooked with her music.

Summary: She had a good song for the first 18 seconds
Review: Your time is better spent listening to nightwish, Anekke for the Gathering or any other female (not from the manufactured pop catagorie).

This ijit sucks. Like those who buy her stick.
