Review: I love Avril and this dvd/cd did not disapoint. My sister bought it for me for xmas and I was sooo happy. The concert is way cool than she put on some footage of her and her boys acting crazy, i never realized how hot all the guys in her band were. You also get all her music videos (including Knockin On Heavens Door, which might make you cry the first time you see it) Anyway all fans need to buy this and if you're only casually into Avril you should also, it will make you fall in love with her and her music. Also the bonus cd is great, you get I think 3 new songs and covers and her best songs done live. ROCK ON!

Review: First off I hesitated buying this DVD, thinking, when am I actually going to watch this? But the Avril Lavigne dvd surprised me. So give it a chance, even if your not a huge fan you'll like it. The concert footage is the part to actually watch, if you missed her on the Try to Shut me Up tour,the footage makes up for it.

Summary: She sure got lucky
Review: Okay, she has one cd out and we've already got a live dvd. I'm not a fan, but I saw this dvd so I'll give an honest review. She can sing, there's no doubt there. Obviously she has more talent than Britney Spears, but then again, A.C., the noise band on Earache Records has more talent than Britney Spears. The biggest problem with this dvd is the video editing on the concert. Way too many camera angle changes every half second, just like a lot of live dvds these days. Too much MTV style editing. It gets really annoying and makes it harder to seem like a live concert.
As far as I know, her whole 1 album is performed live as well as a few cover tunes.
Then there's a 40 minute behind the scenes thingy which is mostly her and the band skateboarding. That gets boring quick. There are also all her videos. Yeah, all 5 of them. The dvd also comes with an audio cd with about 6 live songs on it.
The fans should be pleased with this dvd, but the skeptical should probably stay away. She's said in the past she's influenced by punk, but somehow I get the feeling she's never even heard of bands like Lawnmower Deth, The Meatmen, GG Allin, Dayglo Abortions or The Exploited.

Review: I am a 46 year old male, I`ve been to well over 100 major rock concerts in my life. I enjoyed the DVD, I think Avril`s live performance is much better than her studio album. I saw two of her European shows when I was on vacation in the spring, they were also very good. I don`t understand much of the negativity I read about her. Keep in mind she was only 18 during this tour.I think she has a great stage presence for her age. She actually sings all the words to her songs, unlike some young pop/rock singers. And her band is also pretty good.

Review: This DVD is worth every penny of your money...it's so cheap!. How many Singer/song writters as huge as Avril Lavigne would release a DVD this good? Not many...most bands or solo singers release music DVD's for a simple cash in. Here's what you get! 16 songs performed Live (yes actually live NO Miming here), A 40min Documentary, outtakes, fan club information, a photo gallery and five music videos. What a bargain...but wait there's more a six track audio cd featuring four previously unreleashed tracks. It doesn't get any better than this. To the people who have written bad reviews and slagged Avril off...why the hell are you reviewing Avril Lavigne if you don't like her music? You must be losers with nothing better to do with your time. Avril isn't a rock star but she's not a pop star either, she's an alternative artist like Michelle Branch or Alex Parks. She co-writes her songs, sings live, and the band actually play their own instruments. If i wanted to listen to the same sound as heard on her debut cd "Let Go" guess what i'd listen to the cd. Of course her voice sound's different live because she's actually singing LIVE! I hate to burst that bubble that you've been living in but every Artist in the world has they're cd's twiked before release.(Name me a band or a singer who doesn't?) The fact is Avril has never sold out and she never will. Thirteen million album sales in America alone prove that her fans don't really care what the doubters think. Avril is here to stay...if you don't like her then don't listen to her. Oh! And I'm 25 looks like you're Editor was wrong...People 25 and over do listen to this type of music...oh well you can't be right all of the time. Review: I think Avril is great, I saw her show live from this "Try to shut me up tour" from the front row at Nassau Colliseum in New York this past May. As a recovering, now former Britney Spears fan it's great to see a show where the artist can sing and energize a crowd the way Avril can. this DVD captures her live performance very well and it's a great way to revisit the memory of her live performance anytime I want to. She is blunt and rough around the edges, but that only adds to her appeal, I think. Avril is who she is and does not apologize for it, but I must say Avril you will get a pot belly from drinking all that beer. :0)

Review: Whoever said Avril can't sing was not listening to this DVD. I was blown away by how powerful Avril's voice is live, and she really displays her range on this DVD. From fast songs to ballads, she not only sings wonderfully but also puts emotion into everything she's singing. The concert is awesome--she does a few covers including Green Day's "Basketcase" which I loved, plus all of the songs from her album "Let Go." It's great to see her in her element--onstage. The behind-the-scenes look at Avril and her band on tour, is extremely entertaining. This girl is not embarrassed about anything--from burping to swearing to picking her nose--it's all there for the world to see. She obviously had a lot of fun on this tour, and I loved seeing things like her trip to Japan, the making of her first video "Complicated", skateboarding, singing on a subway before she was famous--even a look at her bedroom and all the fan mail she gets! This DVD shows what it's like to be Avril Lavigne--from backstage antics to onstage talent--she hides nothing.

Review: avril has one of the worst voices i have ever heard. yeah she sounds good on her cd but only because of the people who mixed and produced it. she can't hold a tune. avril is all about being real, but this dvd shows how fake she is because she had to have her voice fixed up so much for her cd. and she has the same look on her face all the time, so she's even boring to watch. it boggles my mind why they would pick avril, of all people, to release a live dvd. even a lot of her fans think she sounds bad live.
