Summary: I'll try to split the difference here.
Review: First off, I want to refer you to the first review posted for this video. Now read a few of the other, more positve reviews. My intent is to define a middle ground. I totally understand the first reviewers complaints. It's produced and edited like "home video meets survelliance footage." It's a hodge-podge of whatever video they had, basically. A clear lack of experience in the editing room is evident througout

I think the people who made this were very close to the band. Specifically, Miguel and such folks. Thusly, they may not have been comfortable asking Brad's dad the tough and compelling questions. Or maybe they just weren't experienced enough in interviewing. Don't forget they were probably staying pretty mentally altered at the time they made this, it being after Brad's death.

Here's the kicker: none of that matters. The typical Sublime fan is just overjoyed to have something to look at having to do with Sublime. All we have is what we had in April of 1996, so at some point I think Sublime fans collectively went into kind of a hoarding mode; grabbing any bootleg, any video snippet and anything with Brad's voice on it just to make sure you always have it. You want every piece of anything that's out there.

So, there's my little story of the two halves. I wish a better job were done on it, and if it were anyone else I wouldn't spend my hard-earned twenty dollars it. But it's not anyone else. It's Brad. It's the band. It's Sublime.

Summary: Buy this dvd
Review: I love this, i got it when it came out and still watch it everyday. we're ordering one for my cousin and decided to write a review. Also if u have a computer with a dvd player u can listen to 3 shows from the dvd as audio, 1 complete and 2 incomplete, doesn't sound like much but the sound on them is so much better than any "bootleg" out of them.

Summary: Incredibly dissapointed
Review: Like the title suggests, this DVD is supposed to show a little more about the band through the stories of those involved in its creation, touring, recording process, etc. What you get is amateurish video of characters that rarely make sense and seldom entertain or give any insight into what the band was about. Why was Brad's father interviewed for only 3 minutes at the beginning of the video? Why not get some stories about their obviously strained relationship? There was a story about how Brad literally gave the shirt off his back to a friend, but that story lasted 10 seconds. Bud and Eric could not have looked less interested in being involved in this project. All concert footage IS CUT OFF half way through a song! I get the feeling that the folks that wrote the 5 star reviews are somehow related to the director because I don't know how anyone could be happy with this DVD.

Review: this dvd was so good, by far my favorite music dvd i own.i watch this a few times a week. also if u have a computer with a dvd player put it in there and they put on 1 full show and 2 incompletes (audio shows), they are these 3 shows: 12-95 Asbury Park,8-20-95 Wulitzer Park North Towanda Ny, and 8-17-95 Warped tour Camden NJ, also these 3 shows are ones with vid clips on the actual dvd . My fav part in the whole dvd is when brad was to drunk to play its so funny.

Summary: Stories lie's
Review: This was a great documentatie. But one thing that I noticed was at the begining of the film. They edited some parts of the movie when there was a mention of a different label. That was the only thing that I did not like. Other than that. I have this on DVD and VHS. I would have to say this is a real good film. I would also recommend if you can get your hands on it the behind the music on sublime. I am a hudge sublime fan. I have over 150 rare recordings. I own all the bootlegs as well. I have hours of sublime video as well.......www.phatchild.com
