Summary: A great concert - worth owning on DVD
Review: Well, firstly let me deal with the criticisms. I don't have the best sound system running with my DVD player, so I don't know about the whole missing channels thing. I do know that the sound is infinitely better than the copy I had taped from the Pay-Per-View special.

The concert is simply phenomenal. Once again, Prince shows why his live shows continue to sell out regularly. My only criticism of this disc would be that the direction and editing gave me a headache. I don't know who's idea it was to have microsecond angle changes during exciting portions of the concert, but it doesn't work. Just leave the camera on the performers!

Anyway, simply put - BUY IT! It's a great concert!

Summary: A True Musical Genius
Review: What Can I say? This DVD showcases the still growing talent of Prince. He continues to prove himself as an artist and performer. This DVD captures the guitar solos up close with amazing footage. The special guests/performers just add to the awesome event. Prince digs deep for some obscure and rare songs not performed in years. The camera footage is just awesome of the performances.

Summary: Amazing
Review: What more can a person ask for? Prince plays drums, keyboard, piano, and guitar. To watch him perform with Lenny Kravitz is fantastic. Prince plays the guitar like a true ARTIST. This DVD is a definite must buy.

Summary: It's not Sign O' The Times...
Review: When comparing this DVD to his previous work (such as the LoveSexy & Sign O' The Times laserdiscs), I find this performance uninspired. The above two mentioned videos had not only incredible bands backing this under appreciated artist, but also seemed to have a fire lit under the artist. Prince seems to have only made this performance for financial reasons, not artistic ones. (It was a pay per view concert on new years eve.) However, when comparing it to the garbage we come across on MTV, VH-1, & BET these days, I find that it's a worthy purchase, even for non-Prince fans. The duet between Prince & Lenny Kravitz is worth the price of admission alone. Image continues it's strong record of great audio transfers with both a dolby digital 5.1 & dts version on the disc. Bring on the full length DVDs of "LoveSexy", "Sign O' The Times", and "Under The Cherry Moon"...

Summary: very average i got spoiled by Sign O The TImes
Review: while Prince is one of my all time favorites this Show didn't do it for me.the band wasn't happening&Prince just wasn't with the Groove.even my Jam She's Always in My Hair was boring.it was cool with him&Lenny doing there thing.Larry Graham was alright but overall this is far below Sign O The Times. The Band was not happening&the Greatest hits just didn't move me this time.but i heard he has a new band&album coming so we shall see.
