Rating: Summary: Triumph : "Live At The US Festival" Review: It's 1983, and the US festival was one of the biggest and badest shows to ever be assembled. Triumph was just one of the many bands that kicked ass during these two days of Metal and Rock mayhem....Triumph was in very solid form on this particular day, and it shows throughout the set. The song list is nothing but the best of Triumph, and the live performance is near flawless. I loved Triumph in the early 80's, and this is one show you don't want to miss. 500,000 screaming fans, and tons of excellent event footage makes this DVD a must for any Rock or Metal fan alive... Buy it while it lasts because I have a strong feeling this wont be around forever... UP THE IRONS!!!
Rating: Summary: highly recommended Review: little needs to be written about the greatness of this live concert footage from this awesome canadian rock band.pick this up along with their cd's.five stars.
Rating: Summary: One hour of magic power Review: Man,let me tell you,I have seen triumph live and this is one smokin set.Rik Emmit, both musically and vocally is on another planet.Powerful performance, great DTS sound on both concert and remixed videos(crowd noise on follow your heart notwithstanding).Be aware,on never surrender and the end of fight the good fight the base pedals cut in and I had to run to turn down the sub.I like to listen to my music at concert levels ,so that may have something to do with it.Pity the group that had to follow this set.Classic,5 Stars!
Rating: Summary: This is Real Rock-n-Roll Review: My parents made me sit down & watch this dvd, I thought it was going to be boring, but it rocked from the start of the show. no one was lip syncing, they played they're own instruments, it was awesome. I wish they were still around I'd go see them. music today sucks, I would definetly reccomend this dvd.... thanks.

Rating: Summary: A great piece of rock history. Review: This DVD features Triumph at the infamous "US Festival" in 1983. The line-up for that day was incredible, featuring other rock acts such as Motley Crue, Ozzy, Judas Priest, Scorpions, and Van Halen. Obviously, Triumph was not intimidated by the other big-name acts, delivering a smoking set of material played with depth and precision. Triumph was touring their most recent release at the time, the fine "Never Surrender." My favorite Triumph album is the prior "Allied Forces," and several cuts from each make the performance. Also included are the Triumph classics "Lay It On The Line" and "Rock and Roll Machine." I saw this tour in Texas, also in 1983, and both were outstanding performances. The difference is with this DVD you are on the front row and the 5.1 sound is magnificent. The included 80's videos and other various concert footage is a nice bonus, although, to me, it illustrates how Triumph got off the track of playing killer hard rock and venturing into commercial pop and ballads. I can't help but wonder if this was a main factor in the break-up of the band. Comments from Rik at the time have him sounding less than thrilled. Also included are recent interviews with drummer/vocalist Gil Moore and bassist/keyboardist Mike Levine. Wish they could have gotten Rik Emmitt in there, too, for his overall perspective. Too bad there is much animosity between the two camps. Overall this DVD is fantastic. For $16.99 here on Amazon, it's a no-question buy for fans of the band. I only wish it was longer. Maybe with all the great reviews from fans, a little more magic power will come through and a Triumph reunion might at least be discussed.
