Rating: Summary: not the best image Review: the band is hot, ronnie sounds great, and the song line up is awesome.....but what is up with the picture quality? not to mention the delayed camera shots. (especialy during the drum solo) that is very annoying to me!! i just hope that they release "live from the spectrum" on the "last in line tour" now that one is pro shot. bottom line here?......it's very worth picking up (if your a real fan of dio) but keep your eye out for "live from the spectrum"
Rating: Summary: EXCELENT CONCERT, EXCELENT SOUND, VERY POOR VIDEO QUALITY Review: THE CONCERT IS EXCELENT, THE SONGS ARE GREAT (VERY GOOD SET LIST), THE SOUND IS VERY GOOD, BUT THE VIDEO QUALITY IS VERY BAD, THAT'S WHY I GIVE 3 STARS.BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF IT IS A PROBLEM OF MY DVD OR IF THE COMPANY EDITED THIS DVD WITH THAT POOR VIDEO QUALITY. PLEASE IF SOMEONE WANT TO CONTACT ME AND TELL ME I WOULD APPRECIATE THAT VERY MUCH.IT IS A SHAME THAT IN THE YEAR 2003 THIS DVD HAS A VIDEO QUALITY OF A TAPE OF 20 YEARS AGO.
Rating: Summary: Very good! Review: THis DVD comes close to perfection. Great edtiting, great lightning, perfect sound, amazing performance by the band, amazing voice by Dio even after all these years! The set list is also very well chosen. I enjoyed it from the first minute until the last. Doug Aldrich's ability on guitar is breathtaking. The guy can really play the tunes the way they were first written. He gives his personal touch to the solos of the old songs, but always within the original structure of the solo. It's a pity that he left Dio for, of all possible bands, to Whitesnake and his sell out singer, David Coverdale.. As for the interview, it's really nothing much, but a good bonus anyway.
Rating: Summary: Dio still has "IT" Review: This DVD is a "must buy" to all the rock fans out there. Dio still has what it takes and delivers the songs with his powerful voice perfectly. He sounds almost like the time when he recorded "Holy Diver". Powered by the guitar of Doug Aldrich, he is a perfect replacement for Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) for this concert. This concert was awesome and full of energy and the first thing that came to my mind was "Holy Mackerel". But as the concert progressed, I was cursing "Holy ..." as the video quality was really bad. The picture was not clear and the image was somewhat foggy. Imagine waking up at two in the morning and watching a rock concert in the woods. Then came Doug Aldrich guitar playing techniques and mastery, "Holy Ravioli", he really saved the day. But this is a good DVD to keep considering the fact that it has everything from "Holy Diver" to "Holy Ravioli". I recommend a buy.
Rating: Summary: Great Band, Great Songs, but... Review: This DVD Sounds great, the video "Push" sounds incredible, the live performance sounds cool but I don't agree with the video image (specially the live performance). First of all, I don't like the widescreen DVDs but if you watch the live concert you can see a VHS. The DVD it's pretty cool but the image it's like a VHS but the music it's great; Ronnie sings like a twenty year old singer, Doug plays at his best, Jimmy and Scott play incredible and Simon Wright's solo it's one of the best chapters on the DVD. My favorite songs: "Rainbow in the dark", "Don't talk to strangers", "Heaven and hell", "Killing the Dragon" and "Holy diver". If you like Dio, Black Sabbath or something like that, buy this DVD but the only problem is the live performance image, it's like VHS (of course, original VHS).

Rating: Summary: dio on his best - ultimate collection -great sound quality! Review: This is the ultimate live collection you can get from "one of the cornestones of heavy music and from dio! must have for all dios fan and this time all the people who like hard rock and heavy metal. dio started his performance with his new meterial "killing the dragon " , "push" but also with his greatest songs " children of the sea , heaven and hell "( black sabbath ) rainbow meterial as " man of the silver mountain, and his meterial as " holy diver " " rainbow in the dark", we rock , dont talk to strangers , stand up and shout , "megica`s epic and havier songs and more .... you cant find them ,all, on any of his "best " or " greatest hits... ( you can find them now , not live in his 2003 last collection ( in two cd`s) . The good thing is that you can get those" best songs" ,now live in "evil or divine" , with perfect sound quality.( the picture quality is average and this great band filmed on "small" stage with minimum efects or scenery . see the opposite on " iron maiden in reo " that have better quality picture but but have not clear sound as this dvd present for your ears ,or the same on the live performance of queensryche that also got a perfect sound on their live new dvd evolusion and also made their live concert in small hall with not to much crowd...). - this dvd worth the price in all the meanings / the band sound good together , with good guitarist , good drumer and "rainbows" bass guitarist who worked together with dio in the period he was in rainbow / you can use dolby digital 5.1 or dts or even streo 6 ch - you will enjoy listen to it ,you will get plenty from it- & paying "not much". buy it!
Rating: Summary: Excellent show! Review: This live concert DVD was awesome! Dio's voice never sounded better, and it includes a very interesting interview of his opinions on several subjects. Ya, he's older, but male voices gain quality through time. He sounds as perfect as he ever has, and he still looks good too. I've always liked Dio, but some of his albumns have left me disappointed, but this one really gave me a new appreciated perspective about him, as a person, and a singer. Jimmy Bain is the only original player left, but the drummer is very good. The guitar player is good, but seems to maintaing a disturbing grin on his face. I highly recommend getting this DVD. My favorite songs on it, are: Killing the Dragon, Push, Fever Dreams, and Rainbow in the Dark. GET THIS ONE, you will not be disappointed! -Brian
