Rating: Summary: Flawed, but still a nice collection Review: A nice collection of Radiohead's music videos from their two best albums: "The Bends" and "OK Computer". The songs easily get 5 stars from me, but the videos themselves range from brilliant to just average. Also, the DVD only contains about 35 minutes of material and zero extra features. - Paranoid Android: My favorite song off of "OK Computer" is also one of my all time favorite Radiohead videos. Glad to see the uncensored version made the cut. - Street Spirit (Fade Out): Pretty boring, actually, despite Jonathan Glazer's various speed tricks. - No Surprises: Such a simple premise; such a brilliant result. Thom Yorke's lazy eye makes this video even more effective and creepy. - Just: The video that had everyone talking back in 1995 (well, in Canada, anyways). If you're still trying to figure out what that guy is saying at the end, you're missing the point. - High and Dry: Some cool ideas, but sloppily put together. I actually prefer the UK version (just a black and white video of the band playing in the rain). - Karma Police: Another video with cool ideas, but it just doesn't work all that well. - Fake Plastic Trees: I remember back when people accused Radiohead of copying Pulp's "Common People" video (and vise versa). Good art direction, but otherwise pretty average.
Rating: Summary: Definitely worth buying... Every video a hit! Review: I just want to say that this video is the BEST music video video ever created. Radiohead has made music videos for seven of their songs. All of which are exceptional and awe-worthy. Paranoid Android - Stanley Donwood comes through with Robin to make a great cartoon which makes just as much sense as the song itself. Street Spirit - A great show of special effects with slow motion technology and good use of black and white. No Surprises - Great song, simple video (I can do that!). Just - Just the GREATEST video of all time! Nothing can top its originality and eliteness! High and Dry - A complex puzzle which leaves the viewer thinking. Karma Police - Meaningful video for a GREAT song. The video is another thinking one. Fake Plastic Trees - A great way to end a great casette. This song is the BEST and the video makes you want to be there. BUY THIS TAPE. It's definitely worth buying.... Every video is a hit!
Rating: Summary: RADIOHEAD LIVE AND IN COLOR RIGHT ON YOUR TELEVISION! Review: let me first off by saying that I am a "radiohead" junky. i love the band to death and listen to one of thier albums at least once a day. be it hail to the thief, kid a, ok computer, amnesiac.......i cant get enough. so anyway, i decided that i liked thier music so much it would be nice to own some of thier music videos. this dvd features 7 songs which is very nice. there is nothing extra besides the videos so if you are expecting a little something extra-it doesnt exist. that doesnt really matter though because the videos are why you are buying this dvd in the first place. each one is fairly interesting. i really enjoy paranoid android, karma police and no surprises the most because they are from ok computer. high and dry is also pretty interesting. all of the videos are well shot and the picture quality from the dvd is top notch. if you like radio head and you want something to watch while the music is playing i would recommend this. i just wished radiohead made some more music videos to accompany hail to the theif.
Rating: Summary: moody convergence Review: inspired, mind-opening visuals that nicely capture just some of the multitudinal influences/visions of this amazing band.
Rating: Summary: Let Down Review: Any serious or even semi-serious Radiohead listener knows that depression is a deep, complex, and many splendered thing. There is the relationship falling to parts around your feet depression of "Morning Bell", the suicidal depression of "Let down", there is the classic failure to fit in or live up to your own unattainable vision of personal perfection of "Creep" or the who the heck knows what is wrong with Thom this time but it is pretty black and incoherent depression of "Pyramid song". None of these beautiful depressions are available in these videos. If you are so foolish as to purchase these videos the depression you will likely experience will be nothing more impressive than the I just wasted money that I could have spent on some nice Bjork videos instead depression. Very similar to the feeling you might experience if you were to dispose of your money in some other artless way like dropping it into the office shredder. The only possible excuse for buying these videos is that you've already watched Meeting People is easy four hundred and fifty times and you simply must own everything that Radiohead has ever produced. Even so, I assert that a muddy brick on which you've written "I want to give birth to Thom's children" would look much better in your Radiohead shrine than this tripe. I'm serious: these videos push the envelope of modern boredom. Avoid them.

Rating: Summary: Fantastic Review: This DVD is an excellent value... i picked it up for only 14 bucks! Worth it alone for the very intriguing/moving street spirit video.
Rating: Summary: Simply awesome! Review: What can I say that hasn't already been said about Radiohead and the videos in this collection? The two-cents I'd like to add is directed towards the individuals who criticize this DVD for not having any additional material. When you think about it, this is a direct reissue of a VHS video that appeared in 1998 and unfortunately did not stay in print very long. Once it became unavailable, copies would appear on eBay and command fairly high bids, so with that being said, this DVD release is actually a damn good value! Sure I'd also like to have their other videos, but I'm just grateful that this original collection FINALLY saw the light of day on DVD. And on the other hand, there will always be purists who criticize reissues that ADD bonus material (the argument being that it detracts from the original "artwork"), so it really just goes to show that you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time!
Rating: Summary: Excellent videos but where are the rest? Review: This DVD collects the videos from The Bends and OK Computer. The collection is a pretty good value for the price and the videos it contains are for the most part excellent, but I'm not sure why they didn't include the Pablo Honey videos on the original VHS release or add the Amnesiac videos for the DVD release. Still, well worth owning as the content, picture quality and audio quality are all very good, but I hope there will be a part 2 in the future (and a concert DVD while they're at it!)
Rating: Summary: Brilliant - No filler Review: The cheeky title of this DVD says it all. If you are a fan of Radiohead, you already have some idea of what to expect. This no-frills DVD will not disappoint. I already had all of these "commercials" on my computer; however, the picture and sound quality on this DVD is so vastly superior to the compressed video format that there really is no comparison and is well worth every penny. There are no special features, no booklet, no additional artwork, no commentary--just these seven beautiful videos. I suppose there could possibly be an "Easter egg" hidden on the disc, but I didn't find any. The box that it comes in is itself is quite nice--collector-worthy--not your typical cheap plastic or cardboard.
