Summary: Thanks For The Reviews Everyone
Review: All these great reviews made me go out and get this great DVD. It is true, the video quality is the best of any concert DVD I have seen. The audio quality is right up there but still doesn't beat the open natural quality of the Ringo Starr and the All-Star's DVD which is probably the best sounding concert DVD that I have heard. Of course NOTHING (so far) beats the ELP - Brain Salad Surgery DVD-A even when experienced in "lowly" Dolby 5.1 The detailing of this disk is so good that it is a completely different experience from the CD version.

Summary: Thank god for this dvd.
Review: OK, you have to like Pink Floyd in order to like this DVD, but the overall production is great, the music sounds terrific, its a fact that Roger does not sing as much as he used to but backups are great and the rendition of Comfortably Numb is the icing on the cake.

Highpoint: The special feature movie about the concert's rehearsal. Thats my major interest in a music DVD. Behind the scenes stuff and this one has it.

Summary: Great Show, Great DVD
Review: What more can be said after the previous reviewers hit the mark. Simply if you are a Pink Floyd fan then you are also a Roger Waters fan whether you know it or not. I had the great honor of seeing Mr. Waters' first show at The Garden in NY. This DVD is a must for any fan. Since Pink Floyd has released two live recordings over the last twelve years, sadly sans Roger, it's only right and proper that Mr. Waters release a live recording of HIS music backed by a great band. I have been a big fan since '72 high school. This DVD is a true representation of the show I saw. They perform these pieces as well as his former band members did, I saw Pink Floyd in '88 and '94. Also some great work from "Pro & Cons" and "Amused to Death" etc. Thank you very much for this DVD Mr. Waters, your show was breath taking as is this DVD. Listen to the samples folks! One important thing is the way this show was filmed, no jerky jumping around that is common in todays videos. The camera focuses at the right time on each band member for a proper amount of time. Ms. Kissoon sent chills down my spine on "Mother". As mentioned by everyone else the band is just fantastic that is really what I think, oh by the way Rog is Pink. Buy this DVD an enjoy history for a lifetime. Thanks Rog and company.

Summary: Best Concert I have on DVD.
Review: Damn, I don't know where to start with this DVD. Although the extra documentary lasts 18 minutes, the concert has it all.

Summary: Something Missing
Review: This DVD was pretty much a disappointment to me. I love Pink Floyd, but I cant compare this to Floyd. Sure the music was there but not the electricity.

Summary: Staking Claim To The Echoes of Classic Pink Floyd
Review: This DVD is the missing historical Floydian link. The one that connects Waters tangibly to his understated role in his body of work as Mr Pink Floyd- classic period. Post Syd's cult Floyd and before Gilmour's tribute karoke pop band's successful financial live re-marketing of the classic Floyd back catalogue. Those who bought the audio version of this only get half the story. It is a different experience in this gendre altogether. The visuals are complimentary to the narrative being as it were Waters political concepts of the human condition. Waters work predicted a September 11th type event, Nosty style before the rest. Particularly on Amused To Death tracks featured. Amused To Death being the unloved but critically acclaimed classic cousin of The Wall and DSOM. The human condition surely is chilling as Waters work continually reminds us all- prophet like. Those who dislike hard realism, (with just a dash of fantasy here and there), should steer well clear.

However he is human! Meaning in this case that he is no singer! Vocal assistance are rendered by the star studded members of his band.

Turns out Shine on You Crazy Diamond is completely in context and here Waters makes it the BIG tribute to that tragic shooting star of early Floyd- Syd Barrett, as was his original inent his co-founding member of the Floyd.

Beware of imitations this DVD indicates that Mr Pink Floyd is up for it again, commercially, and one cannot wait for the European Tour and album releases promised this year by him. Now that Dave Gilmour has knocked on the head any future 'new' Floyd product his time for public rehabilation may have come

Summary: inspiring!
Review: To put it simply, Rogers is a musical genius! this guy delivers tons of amazing tunes, and this dvd puts it to work on 6 channels and a monitor. (dd)
Sound quality is very good, but not perfect. a better job could have been done mixing & seperating channels, as avoiding the noticable hiss.
Still, a top notch music dvd, rated top 3 by me.(with Eagels and BeeGees)

Review: I can't even begin to tell you how cool this DVD is to a Roger Waters fan. The sound is phenomenal!
And how cool it is to see this musical genius interacting with people laughing and joking and
BS'ing on the "Gearing Up" section of the CD.
He seems truly happy and there is even a quick shot of his wife and new child.
A definate must have for any Floyd fan and eternal thanks go out to Roger for putting this together
for his massive fan base! THANK YOU!!!!
