Rating: Summary: Bruce's Rock & Roll Religious Revival Show Review: For inspiration, for sweat, for a hard-working and tight band, for the very inner grit of what classic, stripped down rock and roll is all about, tap your feet and raise your glass to this wonderful concert keepsake. Concert video's are a wonderful way to relive the magic created onstage, and Springsteen shows exactly why his reputation has been EARNED over so many years and so very many shows. Kudos to the sparse stage providing excellent camera sight lines. Good sonics with that usual Springsteen 'sound', just like we've come to recognize. A nice selection of songs, but with such a huge catalog, some of your favorites may have been left out. The interaction among the band, the "Preacher Bruce" fervor, the solid musicianship all combine to make an excellent DVD review of the Springsteen concert experience. Recommended for both the hardcore and as an introduction for the novice. Stuff this in someone's stocking!
Rating: Summary: Always the Boss Review: What a joy in this age of homogenized and computerized music to be able to see something with genuine soul and enjoyment. The E Steet Band never sounded better. Having been to a few Bruce concerts over the years, the last tour was without a doubt the best, and this DVD captures it all. When you see how much fun the band is having, you have no choice but to "go along for the ride". As said by the Boss, "I cannot promise you life everlasting, but I can promise you life right now".Say amen somebody.
Rating: Summary: You have to get this! Review: Simply put, this is the greatest concert footage of all time. The Reunion Tour marked the best performaces that the E Street Band, because they are all much better musicians than they used to be. The great part of this video is that i captures how talented these musicians are. This collection proves what i have believed for a long time. There is no better live band than Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Roy Bittan is absolutely amazing on piano, and he gets my vote for the most talented musician in the band. What makes this collection better than the live material on Live 1975/85 is that the band is simply a whole lot better than they used to be. The three guitar arrangement of Bruce, Steve and Nils works well. Danny Federici is outstanding on accordian and organ. Roy is unbelievable. Max, Clarence, and Garry are all improved over previous recordings. Even Patti makes a solid contribution on songs like Mansion on the Hill. This is the best collection that Bruce has ever put out. Period. The band played better than they ever did before. The sound on this live collection is also a whole lot better than it was on Live 1975/85. Bruce's voice comes through a lot clearer, and you really can pick out each instument in the mix. If you are a Springsteen fan, you absolutely must have this DVD.
Rating: Summary: Bruce & The ES Band Are Better Than Ever! Review: A monumental chronicle; one that deserves a place in any music lover's collection and a mandatory addition for the devoted. The band has never sounded so good, especially with the addition of a 3rd guitar! The playing is strong and self-assured. I'm waiting for this man to return my breath. Deserves at least six stars. This DVD begs to be played on HDTV and a monster sound system. Trust me, inside the case is a label instructing you to turn off your player's Dolby compression. Grab onto something!

Rating: Summary: As close as you can get to being there Review: I got this DVD the first day it came out. It's incredible. Beautifully filmed, a great selection of songs, great audio...I went to four of the shows on this tour, including the last one (at which this DVD was filmed), and this comes very close to capturing what it's like to be at a Springsteen concert. If you don't have a DVD player, here's your reason for getting one.
Rating: Summary: The best concert video ever Review: To give you some historical perspective first, I joined the Bruce bandwagon around 1975 - relatively late by some standards. I first heard Bruce in concert in 1978 on a radio broadcast of a full show from the Darkness tour. I saw him in Largo, MD for the River Tour in 1980, the Born in the USA Tour in 1984, the two album tour in 1992 and the reunion tour in Philadelphia in 1999. This DVD is worth every penny for any fan of rock and roll music and is required for every Bruce fan. The sound and picture are absolutely perfect. After viewing several bootleg videos from the 70's and 80's, it is awesome to see real camera work, hear clean sound and see Bruce at his best. He has not lost a thing. In fact, of the concerts I've seen, the Philly concert in September 1999 and these NYC concerts on the DVD are the best. My TV is 32 inches, but if you are considering buying a surround sound system or a big screen TV - now is the time. This is a DVD I'll play over and over (unlike any other music video or any video for that matter). All of the standard songs are terrific but, strange as this may sound, I liked Land of Hope and Dreams the best. It, along with 41 Shots, shows Bruce still has the writing ability and his music continues to grow with the times. I'd stack Hope and Dreams up there with his best tunes. It was a treat to see some of the Tracks tunes (The Promise, My Love Will Not Let You Down, Don't Look Back) and they were excellent; though Rendezvous (featured at the Philly show) and Loose Ends (two of the best Tracks tunes that would have worked on a number of his albums) would have been nice additions. Which brings me to a small request to Bruce: When are discs three and four from the tour going to be released? Thank you Bruce for giving back to the fans.
Rating: Summary: Simply Awesome Review: A must have for the devoted fan and the yet to be converted!!!!
Rating: Summary: Music video on steroids! Review: How many bands 26 years later still claim all of their original members(ok, all the origianl members from the "Born To Run" album and forward)? none other than Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. The original E Streeters like "Little Steve", "The Big Man," "The Proffesor," Max Weinberg, Dan Federici, Neils Lofgren, Gary Talent, and of course The Boss man himself were the same crew who originally performed Thunder Road on Febuary 5 1975 (my birthday). Last year I bought a DVD player with the anticipation that their tour would be an upcoming feature for home viewing. Even After attending 5 shows between 1999 and 2000(3 at the garden and 2 in Jersey), I missed a few B-sides which Bruce and band have graciously thrown into the video lineup(one of which includes Jungleland). You also get a little "NYC Seranade" and the "E-Street Shuffle." B-sides the special throw ins, the MSG DVD, half of which is from the HBO special, promises to be twice as good.
