Review: A must have for Britney fans. I just wish this had - 'I've just begun' too. Ok, this DVD has a lot and I shouldn't be too greedy but all the same...they could've just added that one song and a couple of remixes to make it the ultimate gift for a Britney fan.
She's a great performer and this DVD will give us fans just what we want.

Summary: Britney is IN THE ZONE
Review: Her new DVD is packed with stuff fans may have missed on TV , like :

1. The ABC Special "In The Zone" with performances from New York City and behind the scenes footage.
2. MTV's Spankin' New Music Week on TRL. This is Britney's first performance on the show & she sang "Me Against The Music" and "Boom Boom" with special guest , Ying Yang Twins!
3. The UnCut music video of "Me Against The Music". This video features the one and only , Madonna!!
4. MTV's Making The Video for the racy "Toxic" clip.
5. The UnCut music video for the "Toxic" clip. This was banned from daytime rotation for a short while.
6. An interview with Ms. Spears. She talks about making "In The Zone" and the "Onyx Hotel Tour".
7. A photo gallery of new Britney photos.

The only thing I felt she left out was MTV's Making The Video for her clip "Me Against The Music" with the lovely Madonna. The CD features :

1. "Don't Hang Up" (unreleased song)
2. "The Answer" (unreleased song)
3. "Toxic" (a very cool dance remix)
4. "Me Against The Music" (this is a remix of the original version , the one Britney recorded before she asked Madonna to be on the song. it sounds very different , but it's cool. it's nothing compared to the version with Madonna.)

Anyway , if you missed any of these performances , shows , etc. This would be a good DVD to own.

Summary: Ideal Collection For Britney Fans
Review: Britney's new DVD is well worth the money. With:

~ The November, 2003 ABC special that aired on the eve of the release of 'In The Zone'
~ Britney's TRL performance from November, 2003 that kicked off Spankin' New Music week
~ The first two music videos from the latest CD
~ The Making the Video segment dedicated to Toxic from MTV
~ A new interview with Britney about the Onyx Hotel concept, her spirituality, the concept for Toxic, etc.
~ A Photo Gallery
~ 2 songs not included on the American version of 'In The Zone' and a remix of Toxic and another of Me Against the Music

And much more, Britney's new DVD is an essential for her fans. With this DVD you get to see Britney experiment more with her ideas, thoughts, and feelings and meet her family and friends and experience the whirlwind that has been her life for the past few months.

The ABC Special is entertaining and showcases Britney's talents well. Her cabaret version of Baby One More Time is very new and different and not bad at all. I think it was even the same version she sang on her Onyx Hotel tour. Her renditions of Toxic and Breathe on Me are very racy (...), but hey, this is the new Britney and the real Britney. She also brings back Boys and I'm A Slave 4 U from her previous 2001 album, Britney, and concludes the programs with Me Against the Music. The program also includes segments that introduce you to Britney's family, her friends, the infamous Madonna kiss, Britney working on Everytime, Britney's childhood dreams and work, Britney finally experiencing freedom in Central Park, Britney accepting her Woman of the Year Award, Britney talking about her more adult themes on 'In the Zone' and a little bit of Britney's Southern accent escaping to her dismay.

I really enjoyed Britney's music videos for Toxic and Me Against the Music so I'm happy to have those on the DVD as with the Making the Video for Toxic, of which I missed most of when it was on MTV.

The TRL performance is really nothing that special but it doesn't hurt to have it.

The CD is worth it. The only song out of the 4 that I didn't enjoy that much was the remix of Me Against the Music. I liked the original better. I love the remix for Toxic though.

And I really liked the interview added. I liked to listen to Britney's ideas and her more creative side. I'm happy to see Britney in control now.

I recommend this DVD to Britney's fans and really to most people, especially those who aren't big fans of Britney or who want to know more about her because maybe they'll take her more seriously after experiencing the real Britney. And maybe if they don't appreciate her they'll at least know she's no longer the fake star she once was but a brave new girl who is in control.

Summary: Britney Still Rules And This DVD Proves It!
Review: Being the massive Britney Spears fan that I am, I knew straight away that I had to own this DVD. It was just released in the UK two days ago, and I bought it on the day it was release, which was also two days after one of the greatest nights of my life. You see, on Saturday May 1st 2004 I travelled to Manchester in England to see Britney Spears live on part of her Onyx Hotel Tour that is currently sweeping the world! My voice is gradually returning, but losing it (along with my head) was worth it just to see her up close! Currently on a Spears-high, this DVD was my most essential purchase for quite a few weeks, and I am very happy with it, not only because it contains so many brilliant features, but because it is a perfect addition to any true fans' collection!

People have complained that all the material on this DVD has already been on TV countless times before, but not everyone lives in America (I don't), so most of the stuff on here was new to me. The DVD cover is the same as the multi-platinum No.1 album "In The Zone," and this instantly makes the two sort of companions to each other. The first feature on the DVD is probably the best of the lot. It's the ABC Television Special - "Britney Spears: In The Zone" which was broadcast across America on the eve of the release of Britney's fourth album. In an intimate setting Britney performs to some of her biggest fans. She sings "Toxic," "Breathe On Me," "Boys/I'm A Slave 4 U," "(I Got That) Boom Boom," "Everytime," "...Baby One More Time" and "Me Against The Music." Seven great songs there, seven great performances. Woven in-between these performances are some brilliant clips of Britney during the recording process of the album. The best one for me is where Britney is in a Taxi and feeling free for the first time in a while - you can see tears in her eyes too. Very sweet!

After this fantastic feature, we move on to MTV's "Spankin New Music Week On TRL" Times Square Performance. This is yet another brilliant feature because we get to see one of Britney's first public performances of 2003 after her year-long hiatus. She sings "Me Against The Music" and "(I Got That) Boom Boom" featuring Ying Yang Twins Live. Both performances are brilliant and her pants are so cool! And her hat! After this, we move onto the full-length video to "Me Against The Music" featuring Madonna. This really is one of Britney's greatest music videos to date and was very pricey too! Two icons duetting on one spectacular, dance-tastic smash hit is a feast for the eyes! Everyone has seen this video a million times, though!

We then move onto a really cool feature, which is MTV's "Making The Video" for "Toxic." This has been shown before, but it's nice to finally own it for yourself. We see the brilliant production of Britney's true comeback song and we also see a really funny and charismatic superstar at the centre. The best bits are when Britney watches her old "Making The Video" series from years past, and when she breaks the plunger that she uses to climb up the wall, especially when she claims, "I am SO strong!" She's so sweet. Then of course we get the full video to "Toxic," which is absolutely spectacular! If this doesn't win multiple VMA's in August/September later on this year, there's something wrong! This is the song that has rightfully put Britney back on top in 2004 as the world's biggest superstar! A massive No.1 all over the world and one of the biggest radio hits of the past year has made this already an anthemic, classic pop tune. We then get "In The Personal Zone" which is a fantastic documentary in which Britney reveals all on Inspiration, Spirituality, ABC Special, Onyx Hotel Tour, TRL Performance and Toxic. We also get a really sexy photo gallery of Britney!

Also includes along with this DVD is a four-track Bonus CD. I have the UK Region 2 DVD version of this, so the two main songs I have are "I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)" and "Girls And Boys." However, as an American purchaser you get "The Answer" and "Don't Hang Up," which are two brilliant songs (the former R'n'B, the latter Dance) that feature on my version of the In The Zone album! Very confusing indeed, but there's also two fantastic remixes included! These are "Toxic (Lenny Bertoldo's Radio Mix)" and "Me Against The Music (Bloodshy & Avant's Chix Mix)." I personally prefer the Toxic remix, but the remix of Me Against The Music isn't bad either!

OVERALL GRADE: 10/10

In the past we've received some brilliant Britney Spears DVD's. We've had "Time Out With Britney" and "Live And More!" which were both superb. We then had the rather disappointing "Britney: The Videos," followed by the amazing "Britney Spears: Live From Las Vegas" and "Crossroads." Of course, there was the brilliant DVD included with the book Stages that followed Britney around on the Mexican leg of her Dream Within A Dream Tour of 2002. I have to say though, that "In The Zone" is the best DVD/video that Britney has released to date! I suggest that if you're a big Britney fan you buy this straight away, you won't regret it!

Summary: wow!
Review: wow! wow! wow! This girl shocked me! I dont know what made me buy this dvd, I'm not a Britney fan, though not a hater to! I just listen to her music while one the radio but nothing more! Now when I saw this dvd I'm in love with her! Her ABC performance is GREAT, the videos rock! A very good selection of videos to add to this dvd! Its her best dvd since Live In Las Vegas, if you consider yourself a dvd collector you must have this dvd, if you're a Britney fan, you MUST have two! :) Its just amazing, even people say she cant sing live, well she CAN do a hot show!

Tha audio cd will surprise you too! The songs are good, and the remixes (especially toxic!) are HOT! I would dare to say that the remix for Toxic, is as good or even better than the original!

Summary: Britney at her best.
Review: First of all I have to admit that I never thought that I was gonna buy a Britney DVD. I liked some of her songs and found her pretty and all that but nothing more, but when "Me against the music" came out, I simply found it excellent. So I bought the cd and then this DVD.
This DVD contains the videos "Me against the music" (feat. Madonna) and "Toxic", which to me is Britney's best song and video. The rhythm is perfect. Besides the videos you can find: "Toxic, making the video", Mtv's special performances, making the album "In the zone" and an ABC special. And finally besides the DVD you can get a bonus CD containing few songs and remixes.
You won't be sorry with this DVD even though you're not a Britney's fan. I can say this because it happened to me.
