Rating: Summary: Concert vises DVD Review: The concert will always be the best but I have to admit I enjoy watching the dvd as much as I did watching the show. It was such a great show and now I can relive it over and over with the DVD.
Rating: Summary: Do You Believe In Life After Love? Review: Well, Cher is absolutely amazing! She got up on that stage and belted out the perfect notes for 16 songs. Not even Brittany can do that! I would recommend this to anyone who is or isn't a Cher Fan! Once you see it, you'll just want to keep on watching it over and over again. Once you buy it, you'll never look back!
Rating: Summary: She is what she is... Review: Not bad if you're a diehard fan. However Cher relies on arena special effects, over-the-top drag queen type costumes and makeup, and other performers instead of her own talent. And just what happened to any mention of Sonny in this career-type retrospective concert? You remember that funny little man don't you Cher?

Rating: Summary: Cher Turns Back Time Review: Cher might not be the best singer, actress, or beauty in the world - but she is certainly one of the great entertainers of her generation (or any generation for that matter). This concert, originally aired on HBO, is the essence of Cher and chronicles her four-decade career. Through multiple costume changes, Cher recreates her various past incarnations -- from the long-haired Cher of the 70s to disco diva of the 80s to soft-rock balladeer of the early 90s to her lastest "comeback" as a techno-pop wonder with "Believe." Some may say this is a bold move (can you imagine a 50+ year old Madonna prancing around in a wedding dress singing "Like a Virgin"?) but would we expect anything different? From her outlandish costumes to her self-mocking chats with the audience - Cher, after all these years, has perfected her act.All of her musical hits are included in this concert along with a cover versions of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and Mark Cohn's "Walking in Memphis" (a rousing version which Cher obviously has great fondness for but did not achieve success with). Extras on the DVD include a biography, photo gallery, costume designs, and the film-snippets that were used on the big screen at the concert (a nice addition since they are hard to see during the concert and often drowned out by the crowd's cheers). Having seen actually seen this concert live, it is nice to have it on DVD to relive a very entertaining evening with Cher.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: I thought it was a big disappointment. My mom was even very disappointed and she loves Cher as long as I can remember. The dancers seemed way out of place. They seemed like they were doing their own show, had nothing to do with Cher. I also thought she took way to long to change her clothes, which most were horrible. Then you were stuck watching these dancers. During one changing they had clips of her movies on a big screen which I also found stupid. You go to a concert to hear her music not see clips of her movies. I could go on but I'll just say I thought it was a terrible show. I give her credit to still go out there at her age, but I think she should hang it up now and go out gracefully. I suggest to all Cher fans to rent this video first and then decide if you really want to buy it.
Rating: Summary: Every Cher fan should own this.... Review: An incredible show! Cher is absolutely incredible and at her best here. Every Cher fan should own a copy. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Cher IS strong enough and I Believe! What a survivor! Review: Three words: FAB-U-LOUS! I have never had the opportunity to see her in concert, but I watched her on television on "Sonny & Cher" and later, "Cher." I always admired her honesty, tenacity, energy and ability to poke fun at herself. This DVD is awesome in the amount of energy that was captured and the level of fun and playfulness that is communicated to the audience and viewer. She is incredibly talented and her Bob Mackie designs, as well as her own, as always, are pure Cher sexiness. Her musical director, Paul Mirkovich keeps the music hopping and full tilt. He is a major cutie himself. He does a great job on a duet of "After All" with Cher. She is multi-talented and has succesfully moved into other artistic endeavors with her usual high energy and self-discipline. What a woman! The look on her face when the music comes up for her last song "Believe" says it all. She is a giant talent and a survivor. Until this DVD is released as a soundtrack, this one terrific audio/visual extravaganza! If it doesn't get your foot tapping or you dancing around and singing along, you should check and see if you still have a pulse.
Rating: Summary: Cher is #1 in L.V. Review: This show is so good that it would have been a blast in 5:1. Oh well, maybe someday. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: I BELIEVE IN YOU CHER Review: This DVD is awesome! That's all there is to say. If you love CHER--this is the thing to buy!
