Rating: Summary: Classic Journey Review: Thank You Steve Perry for this project. (See interview at melodicrock.com). It's wonderful to see clips from the past. Neal Schon displays great guitar work as always. Neal is one of the best guitarists around. (Check out his FRO!). Keyboardist Gregg Rollie sings and plays with perfection. Remember the way Gregg and Steve sang together? Jonathon Cain is good also. Aynsley Dunbar and Steve Smith carry the bands beat and do so very well. I give the edge to Aynsley. Ross Valory is the only bass player (Except for a stint with The Storm along with Gregg Rolie and Steve Smith). Now, let's place credit where it's due. Steve Perry is and always will be Journey. Steve Perry may had diffrences with the band, but he was the leader. (Sorry Steve Augeri, you are not Journey and don't belong). This DVD reminds me of how great Journey was. It's a shame that Steve Perry and Gregg Rolie are gone, and the direction the band has turned to to playing bubble gum music. As you watch and listen, you will agree that the early music is best, and of course there is Steve Perry. Without Steve Perry, JOURNEY is nothing but a memory.
Rating: Summary: Great video but where is the 5.1 Sound? Review: Stereo? What is up with that. I am sure that could have converted to 5.1 if they wanted to.....the video quality is ok.Great to see the videos anyway!
Rating: Summary: Thank you! Review: Alright JRNY fans! The wait is over! Awesome DVD! Awesome videos, nice and crisp and clear! BUY this DVD! You will not regret it! Yes, I love Perry too but remember (fans who can't let go of the past) there was a Journey before him and there is still a Journey! The spirit of Journey still lives! The only drawback to this DVD is it is missing "Chain Reaction", but it is supposed to be on Frontiers and Beyond when it comes out so hang in there!
Rating: Summary: The Neal afro was worth every cent Review: 5 star dvd...top quality in every aspect. The highlight, however, is the afro on Neal Schon during Wheel in the Sky....never saw a bigger one on a caucasian dude. I plan to buy several more of these dvds to give as gifts.
Rating: Summary: The Journey Continues... Review: This DVD absolutely ROCKS. Like others have said, the quality of the video and audio simply blows away anything you may have taped on VHS. It embraces Journey's rich history, including tracks from Infinity through Trial By Fire, really doing justice to their greatest hits with some killer live performances. This labor of love embodies everything I always loved about Journey, and I'm proud to own it. If you loved Journey or Steve Perry - or never got to see the boys live, don't wait. Buy it now. You'll be glad you did.

Rating: Summary: Journey DVD! Review: This is a must see DVD! It's almost to good to be true. Extremely good quality. Clear pictures and excellent sound combined with one of the GREATEST voices in Rock and Roll! Includes all the greatest hits with the exception of "Only the Young" and "Ask the Lonely". The "I'll Be Alright Without You" video has really cool lighting effects. Definetly blows my mind away! Cant wait for the Full concert videos of the Frontiers, Raised on Radio, and Escape concerts! Very satisfied with this DVD!!!! If you listen to Journey don't hesitate to buy this DVD!
Rating: Summary: Doesn't get any better than this! Review: Video and sound quality were excellent. Videos are complete from start to finish. I wish that they would release a DVD of Steve Perry's solo hits as well.
Rating: Summary: Worth waiting for! Review: Glittering sharp images, shimmering clear sound on the remastering, and magnificent music - it doesn't get any better than this. Steve Perry's glorious vocals blow me away every time, but this is a great showcase for a very under-rated band. Yes, there are tracks we might wish were on here too ("Chain Reaction", "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever") but with so many of their classic hits represented, it would be churlish to complain. Now we just need more of their back catalogue! I'm ready to buy!
Rating: Summary: Journey DVD Review: Finally some quality footage. I knew it had to be out there some where. Only one thing would have made it better, well maybe two things. It would have been great if Steve could have done some kind of introduction at the beginning, or better yet an INTERVIEW on DVD to go along with it. I was hoping to see some ROR footage that I have only seen glimpses or photos of, with Steve was wearing blue tails and black & white tails. But it's still an awesome DVD. In fact, I have bought 4 for gifts. I hope there will more to follow.
