Summary: The Next Best Thing To Being There!
Review: I was fortunate enough to see Cher's Farewell Tour concert twice. This DVD is a wonderful representation of the concert. I found it quite interesting to see the extra footage what goes on behind the stage before the curtain opens and how many other people are involved in the production of this outstanding concert! This DVD is worth the money and a must for any Cher fan!

Summary: An amazing emotional concert.
Review: My husband is the real Cher fan of the family, so I bought this DVD for him. However, I enjoyed this concert at least as much as he did. They do this incredible thing of showing her singing side by side with herself of 40 years ago. I had a huge emotional reaction to several of the older clips that were shown, alternating between laughter and tears. Cher is shown singing with Sonny, including the reunion on the late night talk show. This concert is one of the best concerts that we have seen on DVD.

In her Farewell Tour, she is going out like she came in: funny, beautiful, flashy, sexy and energetic. Thank you, Cher, for forty wonderful years. We will miss you.

Summary: Don't expect too much...
Review: I was expecting very much from that DVD - after all it's a production made by Cher, and she, as we all know, cares about her shows like anyone else. Her concerts ara always an amazing demonstration of fantastic effects, which are subdued that they stay only a bonus to great music. How is it this time? Unfortunately not that good. Of course the quality of picture and sound is great, but if we're talking about the content-related part of disc, it's worse. The first part of show is boring. Unfortunately it is not my mistake - viewer often looks at counter because he's curious how much time he spent watching this. Despite artist efforts, it is not what people expect from her. The second half of the disc pulls out the whole concert from this boredom. The better songs begin. They're played better, more dynamic and theylook much better. We'll even see a classic Cher costume! As I said, the DVD has a huge content-related lacks - where are such big hits (and great songs of course) as ""Love and Understanding", "One by One", "Walking in Memphis", "The Music's No Good Without You", "Song for The Lonley" or "You Take It All"? As you can see 1/3 of the material is to change for other, better tracks. Now lets get to Cher image - it also leaves a lot to be desired. If in "Strong Enough" clip or even on the cover of this DVD she looks good, during the show she often (but not always!) looks... well, not so good. I like Cher very much but, unfortunately, I can't tell much good about this disc... what a pity! At the end I can only add that if you're interested in buying Cher DVD, you should choose the previous one - "Live In Concert" recorded in Las Vegas. As a matter of fact I didn't watch the Las Vegas DVD, but I saw the same show on HBO. Even in TV it looked much better than the newest concert. Unfortunately I don't know if the version that is in sale is different from the one I've seen on TV, so I advise you to check it out first, because someone could recklessly make this amazing show same average as he did with "The Farewell Tour". Great climat, much great hits, beautiful visualisations, amazing sound (even on TV!) and of course Cher, who looks much better than in "The Farewell...". Unfortunately I have to admit that I probably won't watch this DVD very often...

Oh, and one more! Don't get me wrong - this disc is not that bad, I just expected much more...

Summary: This Cherest Show should be rated 5 x 4 times = 20 stars!
Review: YES, I'm not exaggerating here - this is a show the Ultimate Diva herself had put in a lot of effort with her co-tour conceiver Dorianna Sanchez, dancers, choreographer, producers yet she's so generous to "cher" it with us, with "love and humanity".

Get this copy in the glittering shifting hologram-cover edition, you wanna appreciate Cher you better be flamboyant enough to put up with her status.

Probably the most entertaining show alive to date took place in Miami! P/S: The show won an Emmy this year 2003.

Summary: A truly great DVD
Review: After reading the various reviews on this DVD I decided to part with some well-earned cash. Boy, was it ever worth it! This DVD really rocks! How this lady does it I will never know. Each and every song is a true masterpiece and performed by a fine, fine entertainer. But it's not just Cher's performance that amazes. Her dancers, her costumes, the set design, the lighting, the sound, in fact absolutely everything ooze class and quality. I HIGHLY recommend this DVD - it is quite brilliant.

Summary: Need I say more??
Review: This was an excellent concert. If you were there live and in person you would have felt the energy not to mention Cyndi Lauper's opening performances which just added to the spectacle. I don't know what "Linda James from St. Louis, Missouri" was talking about....it must be a St. Louis thing (err...dullsville). But anyway a concert to remember and a DVD to enjoy.
