Review: This DVD is simply a treasure! I find it difficult to express in words what I feel about this "journey through emotions". It is close to a religious experience. Anyone who has a heart for this planet and its fate should lend an ear to John Denver's message. It cannot be expressed with more eloquence, beauty, sincerity, and poignancy. A true gem!

Review: This is John Denver at his best, a must for any fan in what ever format you buy it. Turn of the lights put the video on, and listen to the master at his best, The Star is Dead, but it will never stop shining, i guarente that once you have watched this video, you will want to buy others, "The Flower That Shattered The Stone" (CD) is a must for John Denver Fans. Review: This is the first DVD I have purchased and am delighted with the quality. With 36 tracks you might expect to buzz it on once or twice but I can honestly say that every track had my complete attention. This is a must for any John Denver fan and makes an excellent addition to any collection of this global citizen who performed in Edinburgh, Scotland on many occassions.

Review: This video is 113 minutes long and pure entertainment! It includes interviews with John, along with scenic wildlife footage, and his performance of 24 songs. He really sings from his heart and each song is well done. If you've never seen John in concert, this will give you a taste of his joy for life put into words and song. If you have seen John in concert, you'll definitely want to own this to remember him and hear him perform again and again! END

In what is really a simple stage production he captures the hearts and attention of the audience and gives those who were left to view via video the intimate feeling of actually being there in person and enjoying the show.A versatile performer, this program amply demonstrates his truly monumental talent. Summary: Twenty years in the making.
Review: This video is for fans who have listened to John Denver since the early seventies, as well as newer fans who may have started listening after his tragic death. There was so much more to him than "Rocky Mountain High" and "Country Roads" and this video brings it all out. His voice seemed stronger than ever and the short interviews give a quick and heartfelt insight to what he was all about. I can't wait for the DVD.

Review: This video is wonderful! It is so good to see John in his latter years-- doing what he loves most -- singing for us. His obvious enjoyment of the live audience adds to the beautiful performances. Having this video is very special to me...as I feel it would be to anyone who deeply appreciates John. I have had friends tell me that by sharing this video with others, others have come to a better understanding and appreciation of John's music and message. The music is interspersed with clips of John speaking about the importance of preserving Earth--the environemtn--its creatures...and includes a poignant clip where John's eyes well up with tears as he shares of his dream to always have natural waterways and the beauty of the Earth to share with his children...and they with their children. Again, the music is wonderful--the message powerful and most needed--and the memories precious. I highly recommend this video. Christine Smith

Review: This video shows you John Denver top forma as the artist, musician, humanist and environmentally concerned person. Great concert, a must for all JD fans and all those people who only know one or two of his songs and don't even know there is so much more to him.

Summary: Better off with VHS
Review: Usually, DVDs have "extras"... they don't, in this case. Some songs are actually CUT from the VHS. The only "extra" is the lyrics option... It was a marvelous concert, worth 10 stars out of five, I was priviledged enough to actually be in the audience, but this release is no where near "all that it could be..."
