Summary: The Dark Side of Pink Floyd
Review: I have watched this concert many times, I do not remember how many times. Listen it in a dark room with your beer next to you and feel it!

Summary: very artistic
Review: Great in an altered or even unaltered state! As Pink Floyd draws you into it's realm, the borderline-stardom bandmembers show you a little of what they're about.

Summary: A very mystical mood setting trip something like time travel
Review: I was very impressed in that the music had no paticular guidlines to define it by.I seemed to be drawn away from reality into another world and having seen the video it conjured up emotions of past experiences such as I had while in an altered state;Except I was straight. The musicians seemed to draw from within some spiritual realm and the music flowed from them completely naturally. I believe that is what touched me and left me with a strange feeling of awe, of some grandios thing that I had taken part in.The place where the video was shot... I mean all those people dying in an instant .. Death can come in an instant..their lifes flashing before their eyes and in someway released by this out-flow of music so naturally played as if they were totally there when it happened.too much to say and too little time herb

Summary: GOOD VERSION OF EARLY FAVORITES
Review: THIS EARLY FLOYD VIDEO GRABS THE ESSENCE OF THE BAND BEFORE SOME OF IT'S SKYROCKETING FAME. EXCELLENT VERSIONS OF ECHOES,ONE OF THESE DAYS...,AND SET THE CONTROLS...;HOWEVER,THE EXCERPTS OF DARK SIDE OF THE MOON STUDIO RECORDING SESSIONS ARE TOO BROKEN UP AND MAKE YOU CRAVE FULL- VERSION RECORDINGS! STILL A MUST FOR ANY DIEHARD FLOYD FAN. (THE BAND SHOWN IN IT'S EARLY(YOUNG!)STAGES WITH YOUTHFUL ,LONG-HAIRED MEMBERS GIVES YOU THE THRILL OF FOND MEMORIES OF OUR OWN CRAZED ADOLESCENCE. THANK YOU FLOYD!

Summary: Pompeii Kicks ***
Review: This video is an awesome look at Pink Floyd in their pre-Dark Side era. Fans of Meddle will enjoy this video since it includes live versions of Echoes and One of These Days. It rocks.

Summary: A must-have for fans of Pink Floyd.
Review: This video shows the band playing a concert to an empty coliseum in the ancient Italian city of Pompeii, mixed with clips of the band recording "Dark Side of the Moon" and interviews. Most of the songs performed come from the "Meddle" album, including "Echoes". I have watched it many times and it is fantastic.

Summary: This is Awesome
Review: One of the top from Pink Floyd. The portrayal of the band in this lost artifact is great!! the style that it shows from David Gilmour is excellent. This is one of the best. The Beastie Boys even stole the idea from them in their video.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Nothing short of excellent !!!
Review: Pink Floyd's "Live At Pompeii" video is absolutely brilliant. The mysterious background of the Pompeii amplitheater is the perfect background for the Floyd's dreamy sounds of "Echoes" & "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun". The candid interviews add an interesting touch of the groups interaction with each other & the recording industry.

Summary: This is how Floyd should be
Review: This is a great experiment with live concert recording and a movie where the only person at the show is you. A very good look at what floyd is about and how they did it. It is sort of like a bunch of music videos wraped into one until you look at the Directors Cut witch is all the good behind the sceenes stuf. A must have for any floyd fan!
