Summary: best concert movie this person has ever seen...
Review: I was really blown away by this. What a warm tribute to a remarkable person. Outstanding music being played by outstanding musicians who were just playing for the love of music and their friend George. Lots of poigniant moments, like Ringo singing "Photograph" ("all I have is a photograph of you"), Clapton playing/singing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", McCartney singing "All Things Must Pass", Billy Preston singing "Isn't It a Pity" in gospel style, and much more. It inspired me to blow the dust off my 6-string and try to play along.

Caution: May produce chills and tears.

Review: I received a lot of music DVD's for Christmas and this is hands down the best of the lot. If you are a fan of Harrison's music (or a fan of Clapton's, McCartney, Petty...etc...) you will not be disappointed. Excellent video and sound. Highlight for me is "While My Guitar Gently Sleeps" and "Isn't It A Pity" but every song is a gem.

Summary: WHILE OUR HEARTS GENTLY WEEP.......
Review: George Harrison- Spriitualist,Musician, but most of all Humanitarian. The world is a lot lonlier with out him. To say a musical genius is an understatement. The Beatles-need i say more. Humanitarian just look around. This concert is an incredible celebration of the life (and humor) of George Harrsion. The artists that got together to celebrate the wonderful (but extermly sad) event are at the top of their game. They all gathered to pay homage to the quiet one George Harrison. His music is timeless and will always span the test of time. This concert was a celebration of life, but one cant be hepled to be moved to tears to here by the heartfelt renedrings of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, My Sweet Lord, Or I'll see ypu in my dreams. To see Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr take the stage for the 1st time in more than 30 years and the smiles on their faces....so see Eric Clapton almost cry...and George Harrisons son..the EXACT likeness of him....this is a concert for the ages and a MUST Have for any one who truly apprieciates music.. Just as George said.."give me love give me love..give me peace on earth" GOD SPEED GEORGE......OM...PEACE...AMEN....

Summary: Remembering George
Review: A great DVD from start to finish. Many of George's friends pay tribute to the late great beatle guitarist and song writer. Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Eric Clapton to name a few. A great addition to anyone's collection. It's a 2 disc set, The first disc is the complete concert and the second is the show as it appeared on television.

Summary: This is one fantastic show!
Review: First, the quality of the audio and video are suburb, as is the editing and camera work. Listen to it at home with surround-sound and you're practically there. Enough about those technical accomplishments. This destined-to-be-a-classic concert brings together some of our era's most talented musicians in tribute to an often under-rated musician/singer/songwriter/humanitarian. George had to let John and Paul take the credit and spotlight when he was a Beatle, but on the night of this concert the focus was only on George and all that he did and all that he meant to this band of fellow musicians. Take one look at George's son Dhani and you'll be startled by the physical similarity! Kudos to George's widow Olivia and to best buddy Eric Clapton for putting together this outstanding tribute and top quality concert! The highlight for me is Billy Preston singing "My Sweet Lord" in the gospel style and with the chorus that great song so deserves.

Summary: Wonderful show!!! Bless the Harrison family
Review: I thought that this was a great concert that brought many of his Friends together... One question though... Where was Bob Dylan? I liked My Sweet Lord By Billy Preston and Something sung By Paul McCartney... He seemed to struggle a little bit on Something, but I see this concert as part of the healing process for all of them and even us who miss George as much as they do...

I think that George would be proud of his son for helping keep the memory of George alive... His son seemed emotional toward the end, but this is the ultimate rememberance of a man who passed on too soon.... We miss you George!

Review: This DVD is absolutely wonderful. I only miss a couple of songs that are really great and were not sung:"Long, long" and "Think for yourself".

Summary: Legendary Performance
Review: This may well be the finest live performance ever put out on DVD or film for that matter. The moving and brilliant display is enhanced by high quality sound, exceptional camera work and editing. Eric Clapton is astonishing. He is well supported by a cast of legendary musicians who were all friends of George. This is a must for any lover of music. It is a classic.

Summary: Very moving, incredible musicianship
Review: I was fortunate enough to see the show at the Royal Albert Hall, and it was the most moving concert I've experienced. I can't believe how well it's been captured here. It says so much to see such a talented and diverse group of friends work so hard to pull this one night only show together, and for all the right reasons. You can tell they are incredibly inspired and moved by what they're doing, and it clearly helped them deal with a loss.
And the performances, out of this world! Billy Preston on "Isn't It A Pity", Clapton/McCartney/Starr on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", a Wilbury's tune, the Eastern music, and the Pythons too. There will never be another show like this. There was a lot of talent, and many egos on that stage, but they all kept it in check by remembering what was important. Don't pass this up!
