Rating: Summary: decent but mediocre Review: I have been an S.O.D. fan since 1987 and for those of us who didn't get a chance to catch "Live at Budokan" VHS this is a real treat. The first part of the DVD is fine,it's the bonus material that's lame. First, you have to learn a code,(which is 485799 for anyone who needs it)then you rush to put it in thinking, "Alright bonus S.O.D.!" only to find out it's the same concert on the first half of the DVD only unedited. To top that I found no picture gallery either, The concert just repeats itself at the end of every viewing. If you're looking to find a bunch of extra material you won't find it here. You're better off just saving a few bucks and buying the video.
Rating: Summary: They should be up for a Grammy Review: If I had a voice like Billy Milano's, I would sound just like him. This DVD is a must have for any music lover. If your child likes N'Sync or the Backstreet Boys, they will love you forever if you get them this DVD. All of the classic S.O.D. songs are here. There are the classic peace songs such as "F the Middle East" and "Speak English or Die." The sympathetic love song "Kill Yourself." There is even the USA for Africa left over song "Aren't you Hungry?" How that song never ended up on that album is beyond me. And of course, there are the Ballads. You cannot say Monster Ballad without mentioning S.O.D. They are all here: Ballad of Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobein, Frank Sinatra, INXS, and even Walter Payton. There is even a secret code to unlock a one hour concert video filmed on their Bigger than the Devil tour...

Rating: Summary: You'll laugh so hard, your sides will ache... Review: This DVD features a live S.O.D. show inter-cut with tons and tons of backstage/interview/candid footage. I love S.O.D.'s music and the live concert stuff was great; but the real reason to buy this video is for the hilarious behind-the-scenes stuff. Every time I've watched the video I've had a big, goofy smile plastered on my face the entire time. The commentary track is laugh-out-loud funny too. Sgt.D says "buy this DVD now!" (and make sure you pay attention to the FBI warning).
Rating: Summary: I wish I had a band that was big in Japan, too Review: This DVD is the reason you should get a DVD player, or at least run out and buy a PlayStation 2. The boys in SOD have put together a blur of video montages over studio tracks, intermixed with parts of two live performances, albeit with somewhat lower than average audio quality. Add to that a bunch of hilarious tour footage, celebrity appearances, Billy Milano antics, and other miscellaneous interview stuff, and this is one piece of heavy-duty entertainment. If that wasn't enough, this DVD has a commentary track, where Scott Ian jokes around and tells insane stories behind all of the live clips. There's also some bonus performance material that requires a secret code you can get on their Web site. If you don't know much about SOD, this is an excellent overview, and if you are a diehard fan, it's essential. My only two complaints: it's impossible to find this DVD in stores, despite the fact that the morons at Nuclear Blast will tell you it's available everywhere (I guess they have it here at Amazon.com though), and why can't I tour Japan or Brazil and have masses of hot chicks chasing me at the airport?

Rating: Summary: You're Fired! Review: This is a must have for any S.O.D fan. In addition to their blistering live show, the backstage goings-on are included: featuring a wasabi eating contest, Milano making fun of Lilker, Scott Ian making fun of Norweigan death metal, Karoke Mercyful Fate, an appearance of Just Shoot Me's 'Kevin', and Milano's constant utterings of 'You're Fired!' Get this DVD!
Rating: Summary: kill yourself, the movie Review: This movie is definitly a must have for any s.o.d. fan. It contains all of the bands classics performed live and tons of hilarious backstage footage. The only problem with the live footage is that the sound quality is very poor and it makes them look horrible live. The backstage footage makes up for it though
