Rating: Summary: a kick @$$ video Review: if any one would like tyo mail go ahea
Rating: Summary: total disappointment Review: if you like Alanis, this dvd will make you nervous. instead of taking one live show and record it with AC-3, they took all the shows and make a big salad of it, there are a lot of ducumentry chapters and when a song start its jump from one performance to another every 10 seconds. thats why the sound changed all the time. dont make the mistake i did and buy this title. you better take the Paris Concert (with alanis) she makes there only 3 songs but its great.
Rating: Summary: Great Musical Documentary Review: It has its ups and downs. If you want the music, buy the CD; you'll be happier. The concert footage is taken from many venues, and while most of them have good sound quality, the sound in some of the venues is dismal. The only other negative is that the camera action is just a little too abrupt. She is a jack rabbit on stage as it is without camera action adding to it.But it is a great musical documentary. If that's what you're after, by all means buy it. The video shows an amazing young girl who writes from the heart and sings with resounding emotion and an artist who truly enjoys music as an art form and not just for a paycheck.
Rating: Summary: all alanis fans should own this video Review: Jagged Little Pill, Live is now looking back at her in tour singing songs from jagged Little Pill. Watch as the dazzling Alanis Morissette bounces around the stage having a really good time. Take a look backstage with her band members. Hear songs like No Pressure Over Capuccino and Can't Not that aren't on jagged Little Pill. You really should own this movie if you are a true Alanis Nadine Morissette fan!!! have fun= )
Rating: Summary: Wonderful! Alanis Morissette is simply the best! Review: Many of today's artists release a concert video/DVD, yet Alanis Morissette has added her own special touch to this one. Containing all of her beloved songs off of "Jagged Little Pill", this video not only features Alanis and her tight band perform to an adoring audience, but also how she coped with the recent celebrity and adoration of her music. The live performances are incredibly strong, especially the heart-tugging "Mary Jane". This video is not only great for the performances, but it also sheds light on this amazing and talented Canadian singer/songwriter.

Rating: Summary: If you are an Alanis fan, THIS DVD is A MUST ! Review: ok, if you are a fan and have a dvd-rom, you don't have any choice, this is my best dvd out of 50.
Rating: Summary: Where's the Quality Control People? Review: OK, there's plenty of Alanis here, mostly not performing in concert form. But the sound is terrible throughout most of the recordings and the video is not that much better. In general, considering these are recent events, the audio/video quality seems more in line with the late 60's. I like Alanis, but this is a rip-off.
Rating: Summary: come off it Review: Okay, you want to hear the music straight through? Listen to the CD. Sure she sounds brillant live, but this video lets you kinda travel along with her at the early stage of her adult success. Show you what she was doing, I only wish it had more of her talking and showing who she really is. Clips to different shows is a peek into her life. It is an awesome view!!!
