Summary: A great look at one of music's best kept secrets
Review: This outsider's look in directed by Todd Phillips is a great introduction for people unfamiliar with the group up to the largest fans. The movie shows backstage, and onstage antics of the band from late 1997 until summer 1998 highlighting such events New Years, one of the Europe club tours, and one of the many summer festivals. In addition to showing the movie Bittersweet Motel, it includes some great uncut live performances of songs taped at the War Memorial in Rochestor, NY (12/11/97 specifically). These songs come through in great DTS or Dolby 5.1 sound, and the shots are great.

Summary: Trey's ever swelling ego
Review: Fun overall. Nice to see the guy's backstage personnas. Wish there were more with Page and Mike ( other band members) than just Trey trey trey...... Wish it were longer... This DVD is making me buy my first DVD player ...

Summary: If you're looking for a Phish show...look elsewhere
Review: The DVD wasn't bad if you wanted to know every little background detail about the band that they could squeeze into 2 hours. I found myself saying play some... music already. When they did it was only a 30sec to 2 minute tease. Bottom line if you are looking for a Phish concert on DVD, this is not it.

Summary: A Must have for Any True Music Fan!
Review: What can I say? Plain and simple: Amazing! If you like Phish you are gonna like them a lot more after you see this. If you just like Rock music and good Jammin' then you will not regret buying this movie. It is true that there seems to be too much of Trey and not so much about Page, Mike and Fish; but the concert footage is incredible, and the back stage stuff is very funny. I think the director did a great job putting this film together. Great to see the boys playing live during the Hiatus.

Summary: Great Insight into "The Most Important Band of the 90's"
Review: What can I say, I love Phish, so it's gonna be pretty tough for me not to like this flick. Even if they were Urinating in my ears I'd prolly still enjoy this movie. I just wish it was a little longer, with a bit more focus on Mike, Page and Fish. I had a friend over when it came in the mail so we popped it in. He was an instant convert, he left that night with my Phish Book, and a few of my Phish CD's. I was a bit disappointed that the image wasn't anamorphic, but I still would have bought this had I known.

Review: JUST AWESOME! GREAT DWD JAM AT MSG! I EVEN GOT MY DAD WHO IS NOT A PHISH PHAN TO PURCHASE THIS AND EVEN LOVES THE JAMMIN BY THE BOYZ, PROBABLY NOT SO MUCH OF THE PART WHEN THEY SHOW THE LOT SCENES THOUGH :) WISH THEY WOULD PUT A COLLECTION OF SHOWS OUT ON DVD. MUST HAVE FOR ANY MUSIC PHAN!

Summary: Great Fun, Brings Back Memories from Seeing Live Phish
Review: Look, this is a lot of fun (no "ph" sorry). I get the sneaking suspicion that Trey knows any documentary - um - rockumentary, is going to come across a little Tap-ish. And that's part of the fun. I really wish they'd provided a "play songs only" option for the DVD.

Summary: Great Video
Review: I Have been a Phish fan since about 1987, and all I have to say is that this video is a must for any Phishhead.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Good enough, I suppose.
Review: Mike telling Trey that he played too many notes the night before is almost worth the price of the DVD.

Summary: Intimate Look at Phish
Review: I have been a Phish fan for only a couple years, and I really enjoyed this documentary. Actually, I watched it 3 times the first day. It gives a unique perspective on the band and their interactions with each other. My favorite parts were where they were just sitting around goofing off with each other. I think you have to have some prior interest in Phish to enjoy the documentary. I showed it to some friends who don't follow the band, and they weren't all that excited. All in all, a good documentary with funny scenes and good music.
