Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: This documentary came out when Madonna was at her peak, fame wise. Everyone was interested in her, whether they liked her or not. She was the heavyweight of celebrities. She's still up there. But its alittle different from 1990. For example, its like saying The Beatles were more popular in the 1970s than 1965 (think about it).Anyway, this is a great documentary - very well made. Its not dated yet at all. The music is fabulous. The black and white footage alternating with the in-color concert footage was innovative. It packed a bigger wallop in the movie theatre, but it doesn't lose too much on the small screen. I watch it again now and then. Why? Because I still enjoy it! WAY!
Rating: Summary: GOOD MOVIE Review: This film shows the real madonna. A spoiled brat but what's wrong with being selfish. If madonna or any one else for that matter was not selfish where would we all be right now? The movie was great and is worth every penny you would spend on it.
Rating: Summary: Ridiculous Review: This films shows that Madonna is a talentless spoiled brat. Her singing is as hideous as her personality. Why anyone would watch this movie or listen to that voice is difficult to fathom.
Rating: Summary: a legend in action! Review: a very intersting point of view on the most brilliant, multytalntet women around. funny, clever, immotional, don't dare to missit!
Rating: Summary: Madonna....need I say More? Review: YOU have the Entertainment, you have the People, You have Everything! A True Representation of Madonna...Her Work, Her Life and Her Relations...Great For all Madonna Fans! A Great Recommendation...
Rating: Summary: Madonna at her best. Review: Madonna is great as herself. This is such an interesting background look at the lives of those who bring us these great shows on stage. If only the music parts of the film weren't so boring. It really took from what was going on. You start getting interested and then a music performance pops on. It's like watching a really, really interesting show, then it breaking for commerical. Huge Madonna fans won't mind them, but others will. Over all, the behind the scenes stuff is great, but if you want the show, they should have sold it by it's self.
Rating: Summary: Man oh man. What a great ride. Review: Although this film does not show it's viewers all of the true aspects of Madonna's stage life. It's really fun playing the part of a virtual roadie.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic--best rockumentary ever Review: I watched this straight throught twice to catch every word--and I rarely watch any movie twice, let alone back to back viewings. Madonna is smart, savvy, talented, and hard working. I wish I'd known how much she puts into her shows, because after seeing this I would love have to seen her blond ambition tour. Unlike other rock stars who are just dragged from a limo and poured on the stage for their sets, then leave, Madonna puts on a full scale performance, with lights, costumes, drama, and great singing. The physical and emotional stress of doing this on a world tour, is evident from this movie. Madonna shows many facets--her vulnerability, her having to be tough, the respect she commands as a star and the lack of respect she gets because she's a woman--there's nobody like her. The family visits are interesting, and best of all, Warren Beatty, like a aging vampire shrinking from the lights, hanging around complaining and sparring with Madonna. This is simply fascinating, and I really admire Madonna now.
Rating: Summary: Would be Better if All Music Review: Madonna gave me the impression that she was an airhead slut She talked about things that nobody wanted to know... not that anybody cares what Madonna thinks anyway. Her opinions are demented, and she has no class. Her music is good, but come on, how can a person be so shallow?
Rating: Summary: What a Terrible Movie Review: Giving this movie one star is generous. I'd give it no stars if it was an option. I am a big fan of Madoona, but this movie is the worst piece of you know what I've ever seen. A "real life" documentary? Yeah right!
