Rating: Summary: And now, would you please put your hands together for... Review: ...our boy Alfred! I love this movie! I bought it a week after I went to his concert in 2000 at Meadowbrook. I love all of the songs, and the music videos. Oh, and he doesn't have to look like how he did in the 80's! He's one happenin' dude!
Rating: Summary: WEIRD AL RULES! Review: Weird Al's stage antics are hilarious in this concert in San Rafael CA. I've been a Weird Al fan for years-I just wish he still looked like he did in the 80s
Rating: Summary: What are you waiting for ?????? Review: This DVD is just the BEST ...Now to tell you what you'll get. Al LIVE in concert with all the frills costumes and accordion solos, plus bonus material and videos 'It's All About The Pentiums' and The Saga Begins'. There is a really nice selection of original Al works(non-parodies). I read another review stating that "Al's vocals were lip-synched". I don't know what recreational pharmaceuticals that reviewer was using while viewing the concert, but he most certainly is NOT lip-synching. Al is WAY too spontaneous a performer for that. If you run the subtitles while watching you can see he is just that good. For someone like me, who has not had the pleasure of seeing Al perform live, this has been a great DVD that gets played over and over.
Rating: Summary: better than a movie Review: The good thing about this is that it isn't a movie. Their are no boring scenes and it has a lot of special features. It makes me wanna go see him in concert.

Rating: Summary: Al's Concert Has Its Ups & Downs Review: I've been a follower and fan of 'Weird Al' Yankovic's works ever since I was a mere young'n. I've all of his original studio albums on CD and love most of the tracks on 'em. His music videos tend to be quite amusing if not outright hilarious. I've seen him in concert a couple times, and liked most of his televised concert performances. Unfortunately, I didn't find his 'Weird Al' Yankovic Live!© video concert all that big a deal. For one thing, the stage he was on looked really small and cramped. With the kinds of antics Al and his band were up to during the performance, the boys needed more room to roam than what they had. And a few of the songs, most notably Like A Surgeon©, were played in a real wimpy, quasi-acoustic manner. The way I see it, if they ain't gonna play the music as it was originally supposed to be played, they shouldn't play it at all. This concert is also the first time I really had a long look at Al's now-clean-shaven face. I used to wonder why he kept that goofy mustache, as I thought it made him look downright dorky. Well, playing an accordion doesn't exactly help to quell the Spaz Factor either, but let's not get off the track here. But now that I've taken a real good look at him sans those banded woolybears above his upper lip, I think he looks even more bizarre than ever before! Now he resembles an anorexic, psychotic Tiny Tim. Al's gone from 'Weird' to 'Needs To Be Committed'! Finally, there's this one quirk that pops up every time I see The Weird One do a 'live' show and/or concert. The only thing is, I don't know if the quirk is his-- or mine! In every Al concert I've witnessed, he appears to lip-synch the very first tune in the set, to the studio rendition of the song in question. Now I said he APPEARS to do this to me; I don't know if this is actually true. It's just somethin' I've observed. Well, I seem to be observing it, anyway. ... On the upside, as always Al puts a lotta energy and gusto into his stage performances here, featuring a smattering of those trademark high kicks and quasi-contortionist maneuvers that give you some idea of how limber he is. His energy and constant happy-go-lucky attitude are just a few things I wish most 'serious' artists would do more often in their concert videos. He'll even don the proper outfits for some of his tracks, including the Devo™esque Dare To Be Stupid©, Fat©, Bedrock Anthem©, Amish Paradise©, The NIN-cop Germs©, and several other numbers. You can tell he's truly havin' fun on the stage, and he ain't afraid to show it and share the fun with the crowd! Some of the audience members can even be seen holding their lit Bic™s up in the air! As for the bonus music videos, I liked All About The Pentiums© the most out of the two. I also love the tune itself-you can really get'cher groove-on to it about as much as you can to the original version! The Saga Begins© video is all right, but nothing extraordinary. It's basically just a whimsical synopsis of Star Wars® Episode I© sung to the tune of Don McLean's legendary magnum opus American Pie©. Personally, I find Al's retelling of Episode I's events to be more entertaining than watching the actual movie! Maybe George Lucas should consider adding Yankovic to his writing staff for the next installment, hmm? C'mon George, don't miss the boat, now! 'Late
Rating: Summary: "Weird Al" Yankovic in concert is the best Review: If you like his albums, if you like his music videos then you will LOVE the "Weird Al" Yankovic: Live video, "Weird Al" is the best when he's in concert, so if you've never been to a "Weird Al" concert you need to go, but the video is the second best thing (next to actually being at the concert). So I'd recomend the video to anyone.
Rating: Summary: A GREAT performance! Review: I really love Weird Al, so I'm probably biased here, but I just plain enjoyed the heck out of this DVD. My 6 year old son is a budding Al fan and he liked it too. Weird Al just looks like he is having so much fun on stage, and the songs are of course great. If you like Al, you will like this DVD.

Rating: Summary: Weird Al Live! Review: An incredible recording of one of "Weird Al"'s best tours ever. Contains new songs as well as some old favorites. If you are an Al fan who does not own this you need to have your head examined. The only place that you can hear the infamous Yoda chant.
