Rating: Summary: The Bargain of a Lifetime!!!! Review: Hmmm, let's see, 5 and a half hours of amazing performances, remastered in crystal clear sound by the Caveman, Kevin Shirley, and available to you for the price of a bookshelf! You'd have to be brain dead not to make this purchase. Heck, I'd buy it just for the 1970 footage at Albert Hall alone. Their version of "In My Time of Dying" from Earls Court makes one wish that entire concert would be released, as it's so easy to see why Zep bootleggers consider it the Holy Grail!! Never in my wildest dreams did I think that the footage would be this amazing and the sound would be so good. You too can be like the young Cameron Crowe, following Zep around the country with a birds eye view!

Rating: Summary: Buy One, Need the Other Review: What can I say that over 300 people have no already said. This is excellent. Works Great In Surround Sound, and is a Must have with the CD triple "HOW THE WEST WAS WON"... Get one of them, you need the other. Just wall to wall Brilliance. The Very Fact the Page was behind this certifies the quality. Unsurpassable in it's genre, and a great Piece to buy along with THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: This is truely a must have DVD. When I put this in my player and set up the surround 5.1 and listened to 'Going to California' I was floored at how good it sounded. You'll swear that you are there in the front row. I paid $22 for this and would have easily paid double that amount. You don't have to be a die hard fan to enjoy this, but if you are, you'll be thrilled at what you see and hear.
Rating: Summary: Interesting up to a point, but not worth thirty bucks Review: Led Zeppelin was really two bands in one: the meticulous, highly polished studio band (at least from their third album forward), and the rather rough-around-the-edges live act (thankfully Zep didn't try to reduplicate their records in concert and were fond of improvisation; most bands, needless to say, can't or won't do this). This video features what are presumably typical live shows throughout various stages of the band's career. Evidently they favored no-frills stage presentations and freak-out jams which, unfortunately, showed a tendency to be overlong and self-indulgent. Page (with his throwaway virtuosity), and Plant (who occasionally is painful to watch) mug and preen throughout the film; Jones and Bonham, who consituted one of the solidest and fattest "bottoms" in all of rock remain thorougly-grounded in the music and the music only. So at least the rhythm section of Led Zep has nothing to be embarrassed about all these years later. Most Zeppelin fans don't want to hear any criticism of their idols, but personally I really don't see much of a difference between this film and the frequently-disparaged THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME. Both are interesting up to a point; both feature excesses that would come to be parodied so majestically in SPINAL TAP; both are perhaps to be sampled in pieces rather than to watch all the way through. All that, said, I love the music of Led Zeppelin and received a lot of pleasure from this film. But it sure as heck ain't worth thirty bucks.
Rating: Summary: Inspirational Review: Dont be dumb and not buy this dvd if you love Led Zeppelin. Obviously, Led did not have a lot of spotlight on television in their days and of course today. This dvd is this source and only thing so Led Zeppelin out there. If you really want to witness the greatest rock band of all time, get this. Of course they are the best ever of the 70's. This 2 disc DvD set offers the explosive energy Led Zeppelin had. They weren't your poppy type of band and didn't like the whole televsion media thing anyway their style was to make magic on stage and that is what makes a band great ;is their live preformances or actually whats makes this band great. Their music was epical, magical, and inspirating. Their music always was great for gettin HIGH and jam to espcially if you went to their concerts. Led Zeppelin really had some king of magic on its own and everyone in that group had extrodinary talent. No band ever will be better than Led Zeppelin not even today. I mean there is no greater footage of Led Zeppelin stuff anywhere so you might as well get this. And don't worry about the movie "The Song Remains The Same" its a waste of money, you can still apreciate it but this DvD gives you more and better preformances. There's nothing about the DvD that you wont regret you'll get your moneys worth. So buy it, you'll really dig it.
Rating: Summary: The Greatest DVD ever Review: This DVD is a must for all Led Zeppelin fans. It has great concert footage of them. Buy this DVD right now.
Rating: Summary: great video Review: i loved this video... Jimmy page is a great guitarist the video is truly amazing if you like music whut so ever you'll like it..buy it
Rating: Summary: THEY ARE THE GODS OF ROCK!!! Review: The greatest band of all time brought to you live. What more can you ask for? This is a must have DVD to add to your collection. Their raw and unbelievable performances show all wannabe rockers what a real band sounds like! Plant's vocals are incredible. Along with one of the all-time greats, Jimmy Page shows how a guitar was supposed to be played. Don't miss out on John Bohnam's reckless abandon on the drums. And don't forget about John Paul Jones. There will never be another band like this. If you never had the privilage of seeing them live, make sure you don't miss out on these performances! Put it in, sit back, and prepare to be amazed! It simply doesn't get any better than this.
