Description:
Designed for maximal versatility, Samsung's 17-inch-diagonal LTM-1775W LCD monitor (also available in a 15-inch model) has an internal TV tuner and external jacks to let you view virtually any source, including HDTV (from an external set-top ATSC decoder), DVD, VCR, and satellite. Because it's fully digital, it can also be used as a high-resolution WXGA (1,280 x 768) PC monitor. This widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) set offers compatibility with 1080i, 480p, or 720p high-definition signals. PC PIP (picture-in-picture) lets you watch a video while continuing to work on the PC. Stereo speakers are driven with 3 watts each and deliver Virtual Dolby simulated surround sound. Rear-panel connections include one S-video input, one progressive-scan audio/video input (for DVD or DTV), one RF video input (for use with older VCRs or cable boxes), and one PC audio/composite-video input. A .128-inch headphone jack affords private listening from any source. The monitor features VESA (75 mm) standard mounting holes and can be mounted on a stand or on the wall.
