Summary: Makes a great companion piece to the "Up In Smoke Tour" DVD
Review: This DVD was great because it chronicled some 'behind-the-scenes' moments of Death Row Records, starting out with Dre, Snoop, and climaxing with the late great Tupac Shakur, including an unforgettable performance of "Dear Mama"...some of the videos are hard to watch if you have any respect for women...(especially sistas) and in one video there is even someone trying to impersonate Tupac, and that to me was not cool. Other than that, I'd say that this is worth the purchase if you love hip-hop music, and get nostaligic every once in a while.

Summary: Great Rap DVD
Review: This is a great DVD showing the rappers from death row records. It shows you Dr. Dre and Snoop (snoop lays it down in this DVD).

Summary: Nobody can enjoy this
Review: This is so bad that I don't even know where to start.
I'm a big fan of DEATH ROW's EARLY WORKS, Tupac is myfav. rapper of all time and I love Snoop & Dogg Pound

The songs are cut short, some are only 20 seconds long and when they aren't playing short videoclips they have 3 haters who's riding around the city talking....
Plus the fact that they disrespect TUPAC by having Suge's friend THA REALEST who also appeared on CHRONIC 2001 STILL SMOKIN rappin and tryin to be Pac
I am truly surprised that some people has written that they like this item, I believe that SUGE paid them to say this or something however any normal Human being will not enjoy this.

THIS IS THE PROOF THAT DEATH ROW WILL NEVER RISE AGAIN

Summary: TOO GANGSTA FOE T.V.
Review: This review is gonna be a LOT like the others, but what do you expect? It's a DVD executively produced by Marion "Suge" Knight! Although it doesn't fully fufill it's promises, "Death Row Uncut" is not a bad DVD. It's right to boast of live performances, as may have seen it has 2Pac performing at Club 662 in Las Vegas and him, Snoop and Tha Dogg Pound (not altogether) at The House Of Blues. There's also 2Pac & Suge on the beach behind the scenes for "Toss It Up". 'Pac also performs "California Love" & Dear Mama" live. And DJ Quik performs the MC Eiht diss, "Dollars and Sense". A few things that I'm bitter about is that throughout the video, four Suge-paid haters drive around (with no place to go, being told by Suge) to remember Death Row from Suge's point of view. The problem with that is obviously Suge is still jealous of having two of Death Row's best artists leave. It's wierd because the four haters diss them throughout the whole video and at the same time, they play their videos. He also includes the home addresses to Dr. Dre's & Snoop Dogg's home addresses. Also, the four haters go on an escapade trying to find a tranvestite that Dre "had sex with". The video also says the music videos are uncut. Truth is, all of them are not. Some of them are, but other favorites like "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang" & "Gin and Juice" aren't, which is odd. A lot of them get cut off too. Tha Dogg Pound's "NY, NY" gets cut off before the first verse ends. "To Live And Die In L.A." also gets cut off before the second verse. So, the video has its fair share of problems, (again, it's Death Row product, so you can't blame 'em), but there is some good [stuff] here.

Summary: Strange DVD
Review: This video is just strange. I dont even know where to start. First off--the video and sound quality are way sub-par. Plus-the music videos they show are censored and usually cut off. Another thing is-half way through the tape it turns into a p o r n basically. Its also silly that they spend the entire video dissing Dre and Snoop, dispite the fact that if it wasn't for Dre and Snoop there would be no Death Row video in the first place. Its just a very strange release. There are a lot of cool stuff for those who were hardcore death row fans (before they fell off). There are rare videos and footage from Snoop, 2 Pac, Dogg Pound, Dre, DPG, etc. So what it boils down to is that if youre a rap fan that wants to remember Death Row's glory days, then buy this video. Just dont get your hopes up too high.

Summary: DEATH ROW STILL JEALOUS
Review: This video sucked because its just Snoop and Dres former record label still trying to bleed money from them. The vid is nothing new and Im on Snoops side that Death Row need to find new talent. As far as im concerned, Death Row are just a joke now since Snoop and Dre left, and the company may as well give up, judging by this and their latest music releases.

Summary: Classic footage and videos, brings back golden memories.
Review: With the once-powerful Death Row Records having more or less dropped out of sight in the past few years, it was basically improbable that a video such as this would never be released, so sure enough 'Death Row Uncut' is put out just when the label and its incarcerated CEO Suge Knight's infamy is soaring to nose-bleeding heights. This album brings back the violent world of the early and mid-'90s West Coast rap scene in true and unbrideled form, and anyone that was a fan of the ghetto gangsta lifestyle they glorified or the head-bobbing lowrider G-Funk that it originated should be dying to get their hands on this video. It contains not only a virtual timeline of all the top artists' videos, but some priceless behind-the-scenes footage, home video recordings, some serious real gangsta stuff here, and rare live performances, most notably of tha Dogg Pound and 2Pac. All the songs on here are excellent (except for MAYBE the Lady of Rage's 'Afro Puffs', which I'm not too crazy about) and it even has a few never-before-seen X-rated versions of 2Pac's 'How Do U Want It?', DJ Quik's 'Mo P---y', and Daz Dillinger and Kurupt's 'Because of You Girl'. Spotty, but interesting to watch. One of my favorite parts, is on the set of the 'Toss It Up' video in between takes in which Suge, 2Pac, K-Ci and JoJo, and many others, are cohorting, laughing, making jokes, all of them as drunk and high as could be. It is fun to see all of them together, being friends, smiling, particularly Pac. The last half of this video has some touching and intimate moments with the late rapper, the best of which is him performing 'Dear Mama' at the crowded Death Row Mother's Day dinner at the Bevery Hills Ritz Hotel. The way he introduces the song is touching and heartfelt, something every fan or non-fan should see. Also, it's true, most of the videos are the edited versions, but that is simply because those were initially filmed without cursing anyways. The ones that were filmed both ways, like Dr. Dre and Ice Cube's 'Natural Born Killaz', are featured unedited here. And, yes, the video does takes some cold shots at Dre and Snoop. But rightfully so. I mean, look, if you had practically made somebody's career, looked out for them wherever an' whenever, then even laid down millions of dollars to provide them with the best defense attornies possible, and just when the time came that you needed them most, they turned their backs on you, how would YOU feel? Man, I'd be livid. Hell yes, this video is worth your hard-earned loot, but why did I give it 4 stars? I would have really loved to see some of the earlier 2Pac videos on here, particularly 'Trapped' and 'Brenda's Got a Baby', even though they were before he signed with Death Row, and I'm sure his mother has the rightful ownership of them anyways. But still this is well-worth your money and time. Fans of Death Row won't be disappointed at all.
