Summary: best way to sample the "next generation" of hardcore....
Review: taken from the HELLFEST live concert, this dvd is the bomb. i think it's one of the best ways to sample some of the up-and-coming hardcore bands currently on the scene, like POISON THE WELL, SHAI HULUD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, and EIGHTEEN VISIONS. the sound is crystal clear, although mixed a little low; you really need to turn it up to hear everything. the picture is crisp, and they use an assortment of angles to keep in interesting. on a personal note, the best performance BY FAR is CONVERGE's "the saddest day"....the house lights come up, the whole room is singing along, it gives you CHILLS!! (point of note: close second is POISON THE WELL's "slice paper wrists"...equallly moving!)
