Summary: As good as we've got so far
Review: I also owned the VHS prior to owning the DVD, but I must say the DVD is definately an improvement, especially with the audio. I thought the picture was fine as well, I dont know what that other guy was complaining about. The performance is great, although I thought Noel's guitar tone was a little thin, and there are clips of interviews thrown in between songs which gets really annoying but this is still a great video and essential for all Oasis fans, although it's not quite as cool as the now out of print "Live By The Sea." I think that needs to be released on DVD.

Summary: Good energy, but sound could be better
Review: I expected the sound to really be first rate on this new release. Unfortunately, the mix was not that great for 5.1 sound. Check out Sessions disk for the best production and sound on DVD.

Summary: I have to disagree with everyone.
Review: I'm sorry, but I think this DVD was terrible. I often watch recordings of concerts, and I can't think of any other that was this bad. Even the front cover was lame. But well, I thought, maybe the concert is good. It was not! First of all, it was boring. I like Oasis's music, but having seen two recordings of their concerts, I think they're probably one of the most boring bands live. I mean, I know it's not all about entertaining the crowd and more about the music, but when the lead singer stands most of the time with his hands behind his back and leaning forward to reach the microphone, it gets a bit boring. Not to mention, it looks stupid. Then the sound quality. I don't know what the real concert was like, but the sound quality for this DVD was really bad in my opinion. I could hardly hear Liam or whatever his name is singing, I could only hear the fans. When I go to concerts, and there's no way to lower the voices of people around me, I hear less of the fans singing than I did in this DVD. I was pretty bored and irritated about halfway through this DVD and I don't think I ever finished watching it because it was that horrible. I never plan to watch it again, and I think I might sell it pretty soon. Really cheap, because I think that's what it's worth.

The only thing that was remotely interesting was the slight changes in some of the lyrics. However, I'd still give it 0 stars if I could.

Summary: True Fan Movie Review
Review: If you are looking for a video that has a ton of great songs and a lot of behind the scenes talks with the Gallagher brothers, I strongly suggest this video. This video was filmed when Oasis was the biggest band in the UK and their energy in this video is great. I recomend this movie to anyone who wants a good music selection and interviews.

Summary: What ever happened to Rock and Roll
Review: It seems as if when Oasis left the stage at Knebworth, guitar rock and britpop in general began to die. Shortly after, other than Urban Hymns, the quality of music on the air waves pretty much became intolerable. What started as the 2nd best generation of music with Nirvana belting out Smells like Teen Sprit died at the conclusion of I Am The Walrus. This video showcases one of the best bands at the height of Britpop. This video is truly amazing. If nothing else the video is worth the Swamp Song and Acquiesce when Liam and the rest of the crowd belt out I don't know what it is that makes me feel alive. All of the songs are good, even the acoustic of morning glory. I would have liked to have seen the entire Maine Road show, I have it on CD, instead of cutting to Earls Court. Oasis is truly one of the top bands of the 90's and my favorite. Stacked up against The Rolling Stones or Beatles they have fared well thier first 4 albums. Not to mention the B-Sides Acquiensce, Masterplan, Talk Tonight, Fade Away, and Round are Way. They hopefully will be able to improve on everything else. Also it would be nice if they released Live by the Sea on DVD and the Edinburgh show from 2000.
