Summary: Itchin' For An Incident?
Review: If you have been waiting for a excellent String Cheese DVD then this is it. A introduction to the band like Evolution it is not. A ski video reminiscing about home like Waiting For The Snow To Fall it is not. What it is, is a chunk of live Cheese (some damn good cheese) you can shelf and pick up whenever you are itchin' for an incident.

Featuring SCI live in Denver in 2002, Live At The Fillmore showcases the band in top form. From the minute Billy takes of his shoes to the last notes of Rollover, this DVD delivers. The set-list while (in my opinion) not the best I've heard, still includes solid bluegrass mixed in with the bands rockin'/jammy sound. Special features are limited but who needs them when you get special guests Bill Kruetzman (The Dead) and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs and members of Kentucky Thunder joining the band on stage?

All in all, cheese fans can't go wrong purchasing this one. It blows all the other Cheese DVD's out of the water, pirate style! If you are new to String Cheese, I suggest CD's first(Carnival '99 and some On The Road albums - 7/5/02 and 3/22/03 are stellar) and if you like what you hear, check this out when you get the chance.

Summary: Great DVD
Review: The previous reviewer went into good detail about this DVD, so I won't say too much here, but know that this is a great set of discs. The first set is good particularly if you like bluegrass (which I don't much), but that's just a preference issue. The set really picks up after the Skaggs session, ending powerfully. The second set really takes off however, from Rivertrance all the way through the encore. It was fun to see Billy Kreutzman jam w/ Travis and the boys during Land's End. The video quality of these discs is superior, particularly in comparison to Phish's Vegas disc. The sound is outstanding and the camera work is great. This is really a well put-together DVD. If you like good jamming, Cheese or otherwise, or are just itchin' for an Incident, get it...you'll love it.

Summary: Best... DVD... EVER!
Review: This is a definate must-have for any cheese fan, or for any jam fan for that matter. The only thing that could have improved this DVD would have been a bit less bluegrass (roughly half of the first set) or an appearance by K-Dub. Otherwise, this is a stellar collection of songs that had me up and dancin' in an empty room. Highlights: Birdland jam, Rivertrance, Land's End (as heard on "A String Cheese Incident") and its accompianing jams, and of course, Rollover. "Drums" will have any percussionist in awe, and Kang's picking on Rollover is second to none. Again, BUY THIS DVD!
