Summary: What can I say-she's a rock and roll Goddess!
Review: I beleive that this video is a must have for any serious Stevie fan. Just popping this tape into the VCR and seeing the opening scene of Stevie's plane flying over Red Rocks and the effect of her voice echoing through the mountains is enough to give me goosebumps. This is one of my favorite videos ever. The visual effects/settings are out of this world. A definite must have for anyone who has ever said "Wow!" over Stevie.

Summary: Horrible picture and sound quality kills this DVD!
Review: I can't believe the reviews I have read on this DVD! Although its a nice return to the 1980's and Nick's old hits...the horrible sound quality and blurry picture quality make this product a waste of money! If you want to see Nicks sing her heart out in clear Dolby Digital 5.1....get the new 2004 release of Fleetwood Mac live in Boston...this DVD is as bad as anything I have ever seen. The only reason it deserves one star is for her live performance of "Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You". She sings a powerful version of that beautiful, rare track that overshadows the poor picture and sound of the rest of this disc.
Basically folks...skip this loser of a product and go for the new digitally recorded concert of her with Fleetwood Mac!

Summary: A few problems ... but you can't deny Stevie ...
Review: I first got into Fleetwood Mac back in 1997 when they were on the Dance Tour. My mother was totally excited because they would be performing at the Pepsi Arena, here in Albany, NY, on Thanksgiving Eve ... so of course we went. I was HOOKED from that day forward. For Christmas that year my mother got me Stevie's greatest hits album, Timespace, and then I went from being hooked to being OBSSESSED!

In 1999 I got the Red Rocks concert and I loved it. Actually, at this point in my life, I was in the middle of losing 60 pounds, so every night for months on the stationary bike I would watch the show.

Perhaps the only problem I might have NOW with the show is that not EVERY song performed that night in 1986 are included on the disc, like "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," "Sara," and "I Can't Wait." These probably weren't included for obvious Stevie reasons, being, for one, that "Sara" is a very personal song to her and she's always reluctant to perform it in front of people, not to mention that it, like "I Can't Wait," turned out MUCH better on recording and didn't transfer to stage all that well. But seeing that this Rock a Little Tour was the only in which she performed "I Can't Wait," it would have made the disc more of a collector's item ... and thus a better concert.

Summary: The Nightbird Rocks Again!
Review: I got this DVD as a birthday present and I have to say it's my favorite thing I got! It is a better than great show from beginning to end with the opening of the masses of fans going in to the finish of her dancing to "The Edge of Seventeen." She really blasts out parts of "Outside the Rain" and "The Edge of Seventeen" I love it! There's such raw emotion and feeling it really pulls you in! The tenderness of "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You" is only made better by her reaction to the white winged doves that are released in the end. "I Need to Know" is a great fast-paced song that you will sing for days after word! I don't see why people complain about the sound or picture quality, I think the entire production is stunning and great quality. The close ups are great, not just of Stevie but all the singers and band members too. I would give this 10 stars if I could, it's just that good!

P.S. There are two audio options, pick 'english 2' and it really seems to bring her voice to the forefront. That might help some people.

Summary: Rhiannon looks a little tired but wired
Review: I have many items pertaining to Stevie Nicks and this video is spectacular ie: setting of Red Rocks and more cameras than a Japanese tourist bus. Stevie gives her best as always, great songs but she obviously is twirling downwards personally at this stage. Overall a well edited rock-on video but I was dissapointed by the closeups that were clearly tacked on later and look phony but there is nothing phony in her performance. She is generous, animated, breathtaking

Summary: Stevie Rocks at Red Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I just recently purchased and viewed this concert, and I have to say, I have some mixed feelings about it. The first five songs on the DVD(Outside The Rain-No Spoken Word) are performed great, but the way certain shots are edited gets kind of annoying, you can tell they were taken from another performance. "Beauty and the Beast", however, is a much better performance because it is rare as well as beautiful, and there isn't really any edited shots. "Stand Back" has to be the worst of the lineup, not due to Stevie's performance, but the editing is just horrible. There is a part where you can hear her singing, but she isn't in the video. The gem of this concert has to be, "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You". There isn't much editing here either, and the best part is when the doves are released. One is placed in her hand, but doesn't seem to want to leave, this appeared to be a very beautiful and symbolic moment for Stevie. I found this to be my favorite part of the concert. The last song of the concert is "Edge of Seventeen". This was another amazing performance, she never goes wrong when she does this one. All in all, this DVD is worth buying for rare performances and if you are a big Stevie Nicks fan. The best Stevie concert, in my oppinion, is the one from the Bella Donna tour(Stevie Nicks In Concert). It is only available on VHS(which really sucks)and is very rare. If you can find this concert, I suggest you buy that one, its definitely worth it.

Summary: A blast from the past
Review: I really enjoyed seeing this 80's era DVD of classic Nicks concert footage. The scenery was so nice in the hills and moutains of the red rocks. It was nice how the dove stayed in her hands, didn't want to fly away. Edge of Seventeen a favorite of mine, rocks like nothing else. It's kind of funny seeing Stevie with all that 80's big hair, but nevertheless, you'll love this dvd if you are a hard core fan.

Summary: This video made me sad
Review: I was very upset when I saw this video. Infact, I wish I would have never bought it. It was a great disappointment. I didn't enjoy seeing Stevie so trashed out on drugs. She was screwing the words up to her songs and screeching.I am so happy Stevie decided to change. I cringed in certain parts of this video. I was embarrassed for Stevie. I can't believe they put this video out at all. It is very obvious it was edited and that ruined it. I still love Stevie very much but would not tell a die hard Stevie fan to watch this. It broke my heart to see Stevie this way. It reminded me of the Rock a little tour when she was much the same way. There were moments Stevie did an awesome job,but I think this is one you could definently skip! the hbo concert was much better.

Summary: If you want to see Stevie Nicks hammered on stage
Review: If you want to see Stevie Nicks hammered, get this. She's so smashed that the music is not even that enjoyable. Her backup singers do a much better job than she does. I feel sorry for them as they try and judge when she will break out into one her unnecessary vocal tangents. It even seems that the producers of this video had to cut out some embarrassing scenes where maybe she fell down or forgot the words. Do yourself a favor and stick with "The Dance."
