Summary: Blown Away
Review: This DVD should be bought by anyone who really enjoys music. It was so difficult to imagine that the woman on stage was 60 at the time. As one who has seen Ms. Turner live in concert, I knew what to expect. I thought so, anyway. As I watched the show, from "I want to take you higher" to "24-7", the finale, I grew almost as excited as I was when I first saw the show last october. The energy this lady expends, the emotion she pours into each and every song, is just amazing. I realize Tina may not be everyone's ideal singer, but as a performer, she is on a plane of her own, with only such legends as the Rolling Stones and perhaps Prince as rivals. Her band plays perfectly, keeping with the changes in mood and tone, her back-up singers and dancers keping up gamely. Ultimately, however, your attention never strays far from the leggy icon herself. We should all look so incredible when over 60! Finally, though, the reason to buy this DVD is to enjoy a concert perormance that is everything and anything a music fan could ever want. She is, quite simply, THE BEST!

Summary: A Great Concert Ruined by Lousy Video Editing.
Review: This is an excellent Tina Turner concert that was absolutely ruined by the worst video editing I have ever seen. The video keeps changing from Tina's front to back, to the audience, a full shot of the stadium, the dancers and does not stay on any one for more than a few seconds! Enough already, I'm getting dizzy!

But if you turn off the TV and just listen to the music, this is DVD is absolutely wonderful! Tina is great, the songs are great, and the sonic is just wonderful!

Summary: Tina = Terrific
Review: This one is not hard to write: This is a sensational filming of a great stadium show in London. I've seen Tina twice (though not this tour) and this show is the best. Great set list, spectactular stage set, incredible dancing, super light show, and an enthusiastic audience. Frankly, large scale concert performances don't get better than this.

This is a complete 2 hour show, with some surprise songs- "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" may be the best version of this song I've heard. and "Proud Mary" is always special. As for the DVD itself, the sound (5.1) is as terrific as the peformance and the video is cystal clear. Quick editing but not overdone. And no special effects shots (which, for example, marred the Billy Joel at Yankee Stadium show). The backstage interview bonus is good and informative.

Tina is just great, and this DVD shows just how much. We have played this for many friends and they are all thrilled with it. You will be too.

Summary: Twenty Four Seven 2000 TOUR
Review: This video was filmed from a stop on Tina's highly succesful "Twenty Four Seven 2000 TOUR". This tour was so succesful that it was the #1 tour of 2000 not only in America but in the World...and ranks as the #5 tour of all time.

With that being said you know this show must be fantastic. I had the privilage of seeing her live during this tour at Madison Sqaure Garden in NYC, and to say the very least she blew the roof off!! This video however was not filmed in NYC but in London, England at the famed Wembley stadium. Tina delivers some of her biggest hits..and classic covers...a must have dvd for all music lovers.

set list is as follows.

"I WANNA TAKE YOU HIGHER" "ABSOLUTELY NOTHINGS CHANGED" "A FOOL IN LOVE" "ACID QUEEN" "RIVER DEEP MOUNTAIN HIGH" "WE DONT NEED ANOTHER HERO" "BETTER BE GOOD TO ME" "PRIVATE DANCER" "LETS STAY TOGETHER" "WHATS LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT"

"WHEN THE HEARTACHE IS OVER" "BABY IM A STAR" "HELP" "WHATEVER YOU NEED" "SITTIN ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY" "TRY A LITTLE TENDERNESS" "I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE" "ADDICTED TO LOVE" "SIMPLY THE BEST" "PROUD MARY" "NUTBUSH CITY LIMITS" "TWENTY FOUR SEVEN"

Summary: At 60-years old at Wembly Stadium, Tina Takes You Higher
Review: Tina is a wonderful performer and in this video it shows.I wish could have caught Tina 24/7 Tour when it came to New Orleans, Louisiana, but I was sick.My 64 year old grandmother caught it at the New Orleans Arena, she loves you and your sexy, basketball playing, goddess legs. She takes you on a journey of her 44 year career starting with a cover of "I Wanna Take You Higher", right up to a closing song "Twenty-Four Seven" from her new album. The setlist on the dvd is in order "I Wanna Take You Higher", "Absolutely Nothings Changed", " A Fool In Love", "Acid Queen", "River Deep, Mountain High", "We Don't Need Another Hero", at the end of this song she came to the front of stage the in an upside down U-shaped thing; "Better Be Good To Me", "Private Dancer", she up from in the stage on this song; "Let's Stay Together", "What's Love...?", "When The Heartache Is Over",after this song the stage splits open and she sings a heartfelt piano version of "Help"; "What Ever You Need", "Sittin On The Dock Of The Bay", "Try A Little Tenderness",after this song the stage closes and then splits open again with explosions and sparks. Tina and her five dancers come out the middle singing "I Heard It Through The Grapevine", after this song the stage closes and she comes dancing from the outer part of the stage. Once she gets to the mic she starts singing "Addicted to Love"; "The Best", "Proud Mary", "Nutbush City Limits", and she closes this magnificent concert with "Twenty-Four Seven". During the last 10 or 20 minutes of Nutbush she sings from an armed platform, over 95 feet into the audience.Tina's band is in top shape and she has three dancers and two back up singers including canadian e.r. actress Gloria Rueben(Jeanie). Tina also shows her great sense of humor in this concert.I still cannot believe I missed this great tour but in buying this dvd I feel like I was there and now I have it on dvd which means I'll have it forever. There is also a 30 minute documentary.

Summary: TINA IS SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!
Review: Tina is best when it comes to a outsanding concert preformance. Tina gives the audience the most unforgettable exprience of a lifetime in this DVD. The sound is so cear and sharp that it will make you believe you are there, watching Tina break out song after song including: Proud Mary, What's Love.., The Best, and many other great hits from this legendary Diva! In her final tour, she uses the most extrodinary lighting effects and explosions to get you in the Tina mood, and you dont get out of it until the curtin falls, one last time. This is a must have DVD if you are a true Tina Turner Fan. The picture is so clear and with the most extrodinary views from 18 different cameras, this is somthing you will never fortget. Tina is assisted by 3 marveous dancers and 2 backup vocals, along with Tina's excellent band and stage design. This makes the whole production complete. Tina has once agian set the most extrodinary preormance, One Last Time. (this DVD is excellent with surround sound!!!)

Summary: Tina please don't stop now. I LOVE YOU!
Review: Tina once again you have proved to be better than all the rest. Tina's voice is at its best and the lighting is great. I thought Tina was going to fall from the suspened crane, but as the Acid Queen performs from up there she doesn't fall. She had a great stage show during "I Heard Through The Grapevine" complete with expsplosions and all. There were a few slow songs, like "Help". WAY TO GO TINA! DON'T STOP NOW.120 minutes. And a documentary back stage.

Summary: I can see why she has sold more tickets than anyone else
Review: Tina Turner gives her all when she performs "live" and leaves us all breathless.I have recently been listening to my DVD of this concert on a friends TV as he has surround sound, and it is truly awesome.I have to crank it up LOUD,so I can pretend I was there. The energy from her dancing leaves me tired.I am glad she accomplished such a feat with her last tour, breaking so many box office records.I wish I knew who was 2nd behind her in concert ticket sales.I wish TINA the best, and can't wait to see her next project.I have seen her 6 times in concert, and loved every one.I especially love this last concert,as she actually got down there with the crowd and let them sing with her.I know many fans bought this DVD simply to treasure being at that concert in Wembley Stadium with the big Goodyear blimp soaring overhead.

Summary: Miss Tina...The Legend
Review: Tina Turner is one of the most amazing people that have ever graced the planet Earth. And this concert is proof. Capturing all the attitude of her "Twenty Four Seven Tour", after one viewing you'll have "Tina Fever" for a lifetime. The songs that are presented are just a fine selection to showcase Tina's prowess. Some of her hits are missing(in fact nothing from her amazing "Wildest Dreams" album is sung), but nevermind that. This is Tina giving a show the way it should be.The bonus interview footage is very similar to the footage on her "Wildest Dreams Tour" video and DVD. It showed Miss Tina backstage, onstage, and offstage. It is fun and any Tina fan will throughly enjoy it.This is one concert DVD that is sure to heat up your nights. If you didn't see Tina live, or just want to re-live that glory that is Tina, then don't pass this one up.
